Morning Grin

Coffee, have you poas yet?

MrsE, got everything crossed for you.

5dpo here, yawn! Supposed to have reflexology today but due to car being off road I can't get there. Hopefully it'll soon be fixed and I can go later this week.

CoffeeOne · 04/08/2014 08:43

Thanks ladies. Bfn this morning. I should probably wait until af is due shouldn't I!

I feel very crampy which isn't unusual at this part of my cycle but it's also how I felt before my bfp with DS so it's messing with my head a bit ha.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 04/08/2014 09:18

Thanks spinning, must say I don't feel particularly pg. but then I don't always at this stage.

Symptoms are:
Waves of nausea for a week
Extremely tired
Crampy
Meltdown last Thursday Blush

So who knows, could go either way! Wink

I find it so frustrating MrsE, since ttc I've realised I always feel nauseous before af, I have quite a lot of sticky cm for about 6 days after ov and my boobs are uncomfortable and feel bigger before af......all symptoms that could come before af/bfp!
I wish it could be easier.....if bfp is coming we have bright blue cm, haha there'd be no confusion with thatGrin

gennibugs · 04/08/2014 09:44

Morning All.

Fx mrse and coffee. I agree re bright blue cm - I get so many symptoms pre AF I always wonder if the symptom that I'm finally pg is that I have no symptoms!!!

spinning hope you get to reflexology.

cd11 here, no ov yet. managed to dtd for the first time this cycle lsst night after bickering all weekend, which is a bit crap really. hoping I don't ov for a few more days so there is time to get some more swimmers up there!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 04/08/2014 09:46

GrinGrin Bright blue cm would be a perfect indicator! I'm surprised clearblue haven't masterminded that symptom already! Grin

I'm overdue a smear which I kept hoping I wouldn't need to book as oh whoops I'd be pg! As the months plod on I'm thinking I'd better get on with it. I bloody well hate smear tests! And stupid nurses who insist on using the wrong speculum which you have to do a handstand on the bed. BlushAngry

For anyone interested in taking Soy Isoflavones, this site:www.soulcysters.net/showthread.php/340413-Soy-Isoflavones-STATS-for-BFPs has the best written summary, backed up by everything else I have read, with some hopeful stats Smile

Ha ha, I remember saying to DH during my limbo stage two weeks ago that I wish my pee would turn purple if I was pregnant, to make things easier! Bloody progesterone has a lot to answer for!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 04/08/2014 10:06

Too right kitty! Gosh it's helpful to have everyone in the same boat here. I'll put mine on order and can always pass them onto someone else here if I don't need them! Thanks kitty Wink

Wink Not sure if this is related to the Soy Iso but the past two days, I have been really really horny Blush Ever since coming off the Pill last November, I have DTD lots to conceive but not really been instigating it otherwise, IYSWIM! Wondering if my out of whack hormones were suppressing my libido...
Sunshinesaz86 · 04/08/2014 10:22

Morning ladies, good luck to all close to POAS, and thanks for the advice re conceive plus! Got some on order for next cycle! Currently on 5dpo (accordingly to FF and my +opk on the 11th) absolutely no symptoms here which is fine as I'm not driving myself mad!

Off to Trafford centre currently to go holiday shopping, great distraction from googling everything ttc!

FX mrse, crap about your car spinning and missing your reflexology sesh hopefully you'll be lucky this month! Plenty of time to get some spermies up there gennibugs get DTD!!

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2014 10:31

Ladies I need a moan. Stupid thrush still hasn't gone away so now I'm on my 3rd treatment :(
Really hoping I'm not pregnant as you shouldnt have the tablet if you are. Very doubtful that I am anyway due to not dtd because of the thrush!
Every week of my holiday I've been to the doctors. Also going next week for a blood test for diabetes :(

Annndddd breathe.
Enjoy shopping sunshine :)

kitty purple pee would be very helpful!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 04/08/2014 10:34

Treacle you poor thing. Have you tried probiotics yet? Also cut out white bread, mushrooms, white wine. Anything with high yeast content. Too much pizza gives me thrush! Blush How weird is that!

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2014 10:38

Yeah MrsE :(
I've got to say I thought it had gone and Thursday went out and drank more than any self respecting human being should. Then had pizza. Probably didn't help...
I'll try and be really careful this week and hope it goes away.

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2014 10:38

Thanks sunbathing :)

Oh no :( lots of dtd before and after he goes away!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 04/08/2014 10:44

Oh you poor love, stick to red wine! Chardonnay is the worst for thrush! Wink And if having a pizza binge, have the thin crust without mushrooms, lol

I've had it months at a time myself, the hot weather won't be helping. Sanex is the best thing to wash with. 100% fragrance free. I can't use lube as it gives me thrush. Baby oil is the worst!

Hope it clears soon and you're feeling more comfortable. And slap canestan on dh every time he passes by. Men are notoriously rubbish at putting the cream on regularly. Last thing you want is for him to pass it back to you. Angry

Oh my gosh, I've been trying to not think about TTC too much this month and just DTD when we can (although planning to DTD more around when I'm due to ovulate if possible). As such I hadn't looked on this thread for about 5 days...just spent 90minutes catching up with everyone!

Sorry for the AFs and BFNs so far, fx for plenty more soon!

Lucieloo your kitten is gorgeous

Treacle sorry about your thrush, I hope it goes away fast. I second the avoidance of high yeast produce.

Sunbathingcat I hope you manage to fit in some DTD before and after your DH is away! maybe you'll ovulate earlier or later and it will work out. Fx!

Good luck to every POAS in the next few days! I'm going to go and sit at the back of the bus again, on CD9 today and really trying to not spend too much time obsessing about TTC this month.

Sunshinesaz86 · 04/08/2014 10:50

Thanks treacle!! Nearly there!! Sorry to hear your still suffering with thrush and even worse it's interfering with DTD!! Hope it clears soon for u!

That's rubbish sunbathingcat I agree to do as much DTD as possible, if only we could just keep it in a pot for times like that!

ohlordyplordy · 04/08/2014 10:53

I'd like to hop on the bus please.
I'm 33 and ttc #1 since coming off the pill in July.
This is cd3 of cycle 2.
Sad that af arrived but also relieved to have a 28 day cycle afrer so long on the pill.
I'm taking sanatogen mum to be vitamins and tracking using the ovia website.

Aprilray · 04/08/2014 10:56

Morning ladies,
Thanks for the new thread MrsE!
Kitty great to have you back Smile sorry to hear that you had an awful AF though. I think I'm going to do one more cycle before tests. Found a clinic in Farringdon which is where my DH went for tests so think I would go there.
GrandHighWitch really sorry to hear that AF arrived, but yay for another shot at August.

I think I am around 5ishDPO, however unless I had a super duper egg which lasted longer than 24 hours I don't think we are in with a chance this cycle so I will mostly be cheering you ladies on - go Dragon Dragon !!!!!!

Fairey86 · 04/08/2014 11:02

AF due 10/08/14

Trying hard not to symptom spot but have experienced nausea, constipation, my boobs have grown a cup size and, upon feeling wet this morning (I started a thread regarding this so tmi) I had a lot of snotty looking mucas (only way I can describe it)

Keeping everything crossed! Baby dust to you all xx

Phryn · 04/08/2014 11:14

No news here. On CD 35, but I had a 42 day cycle a few cycles ago so I'm still waiting... Lots to distract me this week on kids camp which helps. Packed for all eventualities so have pregnancy tests in case I can't find the urge to POAS and a CBFM fresh(ish) off ebay to use if AF turns up Wink !

Sorry mama and grand. Hope you can enjoy a glass of your fave tipple or nice rare steak (or veggie equivalent!)

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2014 12:16

Thank you ladies. I will try and stay away from everything bad :)
Keeping my mind off it all by doing lots of jobs. So far have made many phone calls that have been waiting, hoovered and cleaned the car, sorted someone to come and repair the damage to my car after someone scratched her. Now I'm off out in the garden again.

KittyVonCatsington · 04/08/2014 13:44

Welcome ohlordy!

Oh, Treacle Poor you! Sorry if this is patronising but has DH also been treated for thrush and following through with the treatment without DTD? You could both be passing it back and forth Sad
I had thrush for about 6 months at uni due to strong antibiotics from a kidney infection. I reduced refined sugar and yeast from my diet and had live yoghurt daily, along with Caneston. Still took some time to disappear though.

Lots of Dragon luck for those in the TWW-sounds like some BFPs are on their way!

April I think in September/October, I'm going to get the NHS ball rolling as that will have been 10/11 months ttc with fewer "cycle chances" and i'm sure a minor fib of the odd month out of 12 is allowed at my age!
Hopefully, my super long cycle just gone will help my case at least...
I hope neither of us needs to do that though.

KittyVonCatsington · 04/08/2014 13:45

Oh bugger, the dragon's gone already-I feel bereft!! Grin
