Hi everyone, I know this is probably a bit early (since it isn't July yet) but I thought I would start a new thread for those who lost their tickets for previous busses and for those who are beginning their bus journey now. Please feel free to add your stats to the list and grab a good seat while you can. Best of luck to everyone TTC and I look forward to getting many BFP's posted on here.

I think you'd be depriving yourself if you stop doing everything for possibly a long time. Although when I was ttc ds1 I didn't give blood as I was in the 2ww. I don't really drink a lot but got married after having a negative test and drank more than I probably have in a year the week after and then found out I was actually pregnant and he's fine!

Wrt the 2ww I've been symptom spotting for the last 6 months really, hoping my coil has failed so that's pretty mad! I've also been to the due date calendar online now we are actually ttc.

In my youth I was so worried about getting pregnant I was religious with my pill then when I started ttc ds1 and it took 6 months I thought I'd been tricked by everyone into thinking you could get pregnant at the drop of a hat!

Welcome to all the new passengers and good luck!

Missing stats- age 29, bfp due 20th July hopefully! Taking folic acid (most days!) and according alcohol around ov/before af due but having a few while af is here. Also doc told me to avoid antihistamines, so just avoiding them around the same time as avoiding alcohol. Trying not to obsess!! :)

lp2014 · 22/06/2014 21:14

Goodness, there's so many of us now! :-) xx

laurano81 · 22/06/2014 23:30

Hi all

Cpt1 The dream board is an brill way of bringing your dreams alive! I did one for my wedding...Smile x I think the universe knows exactly what you want & more important what you really need! It takes time! If it is for you, it won't pass you Smile! I don't use the CB digi Ov test, so I don't really know about them x

MrsE How lovely to get a whole punet of strawberries!! Yum yum & loads of fun! Grin I bet it made you feel alive! x I hope you sleep better tonight! Nothing to make you feel worse than being tired! We can all be pains in the arse! Grin I know I can! hehe Be who you are & follow how you feel x I don't eat red meat, (just turkey, chicken & fish) & that's why my iron levels are low. Thanks for making me feel better about taking the iron x Thankfully it is not doing anything to my bowel movements! Lots of water, fruit & bran, and I seem to be fine Grin

laurano81 · 23/06/2014 00:13

TheGrandHighWitch I would think you ovulated CD14 too...your temps went up CD15...the +opk was CD13 & you had ov. pain/twinges CD14 as well! Yay! I don't want my DS to be on his own either when he is older...I better hurry up! So he won't be! I am one of six, and my little fella is all alone! It makes me feel bad sometimes...Fx for a BFP Smile

Blueskygirl30 I really don't find temping complicated,..the hardest bit, is trying to take it at the same time every morning Smile x Actually it makes you look forward to the morning! Grin Congrads on getting your mortgage offer Smile excited times ahead! Fx Af stays away & you get a BFP!

Welcome MrsI86 & BrixtonBunny Smile x

Sparkle I use the True Opk's from Amazon...you get 30 for £10, but I found them really really good...you can of course get cheaper ones, & different bundles if you look around...also you can get opk's on ebay..Smile x I didn't get the CB digi either as Kitty said it can work out rather expense & from reviews I read online it can be confusion!

Looks like Af is starting to leave me alone! CD7 now! well it is 12am! Grin..I am still taking Agnus Cactus, so Fx I ovulate a bit earlier than last month & my LP is as good, if not better Grin! Off to bed now, the weekend went fast & I don't feel ready for Monday! Grin xx

MrsExtraOrdinary · 23/06/2014 00:22

I'm glad your not suffering the side effects Lauran. I was fine taking oral iron up until the birth of my last son. There were complications which I wonT dwell on, I'll just say "big head"! I had 4 rounds of bowel surgery to get fixed last year. It's been a long road but I think that's mostly behind me now, lol sorry terrible joke. sorry ladies who were familiar with my bottom story already

Ill dash out for some pro biotic tablets tomorrow hopefully that will balance everything again. I have an under active thyroid endometriosis and a few other silly things that mean I can't absorb iron from my diet normally, even if I were to eat a whole plate of broccoli daily. The last time I had surgery for endo they zapped the endometrium off the back of my womb where my bowel is. So I think the 2 are sort of related, despite being a problem signally. I did start to feel a lot fitter before the house move mortgage thingy but stress can make us all feel yuck can't it. And then I fell down the stairs and sprained my ankle so I've not been able to do any exercise, I can't even put a proper shoe on! Blush I'm just a walking disaster at the mo! It's going to change I'm determined.

On a lighter note I really hope this sunshine continues... Isn't it just lovely!

theonewiththenoisychild · 23/06/2014 00:28

bfp due 20th july (for my stats)

the behaviour in 2ww is a issue in my house too. i wont touch anything other than paracetamol for pain and dont drink alcohol at all after af buggers off. we have some plans for the summer which i wouldnt be able to join in with much if carrying precious cargo but af is due before that so will know if i can join in or not then. if i cant i will be happy that i cant because a baby is wayyyyy cooler Grin

laurano81 · 23/06/2014 00:48

MrsE I find acupuncture really helps my bowel issues...I have found it hard to go to the loo before...there is bowel issues in my family on my mothers side, I have Fx that I have inherited my fathers health in that regard! Smile Gosh you have been though a lot! It's so not fair that you have to go through all that! Stress surely is a waste of time! It gets us nowhere! Like rocking in a chair, it merely gives us something to do! An ankle needs time to heal & can be painful! I know what you mean! I was hit by a nissan navara last Tues & my poor lower back is inflamed Sad! I have been to the doc three times since it happened! I actually was crying in pain on Friday night! I have no choice but to take the painkillers, as the pain is so intense...& I simply can't walk very much without taking the meds as it makes the pain worse! Feeling sorry for myself...Doc said I need to take it easy for a week & I have to take the painkillers! My back won't improve without them, as I am getting back spasms Sad! So I too am a walking disaster at the moment! It could be worse though! So I am trying my best to be positive! Grin x

theone the 2ww is really difficult at times! I start off feeling great & then get more & more nervous, as the days go on...We are all the same I bet in that regard! I don't drink alcohol, I like alcohol but alcohol doesn't like me and I normally don't take painkillers! TBH it is killing me to take them at the moment! The doc gave out to me Friday night, saying I have no choice but to take them! I need my back to heal, so I had to give in! Hopefully my eggs will be ok! x

Rainbow555 · 23/06/2014 04:39

Gosh I have heaps to catch up on with the time difference!
grand thanks for the stats! heaps on this bus now means we could be in for a July bfp bonanza! Fingers crossed!

blue exericse during preg is good for you! studies show that in utero environment is key to development in later life and exercise during preg can improve ms development in child. Granted maybe not too strenuous during implantation time but I wouldn't avoid your spinning class just yet!

april I am similar love wine and have a drink or two in first week of cycle and then nothing until next cycle...but I don't think it would make much difference! We are similar days any OV signs yet for you?

mrsE sorry to hear things are not great! try not to stress! Easier said than done I know (last week was high stress for me) try and ice the ankle and rest it so it gets better soon!

laurano sorry to hear u are still suffering after your car crash (hugs) for you! Annoying that u need the pills but better to get you back sorted now so it will be better in the long term, plus if you can't move and are crying in pain that would be no good for DTD or little egg either! I really hope you start to feel better soon! Are you seeing a Physio or massage person that might help with the spasms?

Rainbow555 · 23/06/2014 04:44

First time using ov sticks some advice from those that have used them before? They are in order from Friday, sat, two Sunday and then today (Monday) at 3.30pm - I think the latest looks darker but is it a positive?

lp2014 · 23/06/2014 07:12

Morning! Lots to catch up on , will try to read later on.

That's me on cd16, feeling good and positive. Roll on 5th July! Xx

TheGrandHighWitch · 23/06/2014 08:19

Thanks laurano81. I think if I had to narrow it down then I would say I ov'd sometime either Friday evening or Saturday morning so fx I caught it at the right time. Going from temps etc fertility friend is putting ov as the Friday which puts me at 3dpo today. I don't know if it is a bug or a coincidence but I have felt a bit nauseous this morning and felt violently sick after eating my breakfast.

Morning everyone,
I'm a bit of a nervous wreck this morn, ds2 has his day at secondary school ready for starting in Sept. Why do they grow up so quickly?

Welcome mrsI and Brixtonbunny hope you have a short journey on the bus Grin

mrsE sorry you've been feeling so poorly, hope you're a bit better today.

bluesky good news on mortgage offer. I've got my eye on a new build too although people keep trying to put me off, have you found that? We live in a v.old house at the moment and even little jobs turn into big jobs, even painting the ceiling resulted in us having to have it all plastered and redone. Would be so nice to live somewhere where it's all spanking new.

I'm doing rubbish at keeping up with everything.

Hope everyone has a lovely day. Xx

Aprilray · 23/06/2014 10:59

Morning,

Rainbow I agree with Notoast about your ov sticks. I am on CD13 now and still getting a low reading on my CBFM so no sign of ov here. I discovered through temping in the last two months that I ovulate late, around CD18 (which means that for the first few months of ttc we were giving up too early!) so have a little while to wait yet.

Cpt and Bluesky we bought a new build last year and we love it. It had been ready for a while before we bought it (why don't people want new builds??) so we got away with an offer much less than the asking price and haven't had any problems.

Laurano sorry to hear that you are suffering so badly after your accident. I wouldn't beat yourself up about the pain killers. I hope they do the trick and you are on the mend soon.

It is getting exciting as people start their 2ww - BFP land here we come Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 23/06/2014 11:05

Nearly called an ambulance earlier. It's gotten much worse. Waiting for the gp to call. I've been in agony since 4.30am. First 5 minutes respite I've had. Sad

1moretime · 23/06/2014 11:16

Welcome 1moretime

Siarie · 23/06/2014 12:46

Eight more little pills left until TTC, anyone have any tips for making time go quicker :D?

Aprilray · 23/06/2014 13:02

Oh dear MrsE, you poor thing! Have you heard from your GP yet?

I wish I did, Siarie I really wish I did. I am the most impatient person ever - I think taking a while to conceive is a little lesson for me to learn patience before a little one comes along.

Welcome 1moretime Smile

1moretime · 23/06/2014 13:23

Hi ladies.
Do any of you temp? Its all new to me but this will be my first proper cycle of temping as i started mid cycle on my last one. Xx

MissMrsMummy · 23/06/2014 13:27

I do 1more and I find it really useful. What do you need to know?
