Hi everyone, I know this is probably a bit early (since it isn't July yet) but I thought I would start a new thread for those who lost their tickets for previous busses and for those who are beginning their bus journey now. Please feel free to add your stats to the list and grab a good seat while you can. Best of luck to everyone TTC and I look forward to getting many BFP's posted on here.

Just bought some ovulation sticks..expensive here in NZ! Thinking I might temp too..going to be prepared this month!
Any advice for temping? Just a normal thermometer?

TheGrandHighWitch · 13/06/2014 10:12

Good morning ladies, sorry that af got you both KittyVonCatsington and Rainbow555. Re temping, I have been using a normal digital thermometer that reads to one decimal place but have recently ordered a proper basal body thermometer that reads to 2 decimal places so I can tell more minute changes. You need to take your temp first thing after you wake up. You need to have had a good few hours sleep (so not after a nap for example) and no drinking/talking/sitting up to do it or else the temp won't be accurate. I recommend an app called fertility friend to log your temps and other symptoms etc. If your phone isn't geared up for apps then you can do it via the fertility friend website too.

So I would have to be bloody lucky to get a seat on this bus, going to be taking my last pill July 1st and if my cycles are the same as they were before I took the pill then I should get AF before the end of July. I have a sneaky suspicion that might be the case as I've had cramps before that have synced up with the dates on my period tracker app (no blood just cramps).

So I suppose I need to wait and see what happens but potentially my stats will be:

Age 26, TTC Number 1, Cycle Number 1 and I guess BFP ? End of July

But the chances of my ovulation kicking right back in are quite low I guess.

Hello ladies.

What a pain about Amazon GrandHighWitch.
My DH is bucking the trend and getting worried re his swimmers so taking himself off to get tested next week bless him. We're into cycle 7 and don't want to have to wait until we've been ttc for a year, find out there is a problem and we could have dealt with it sooner. The female tests are a bit more pricy so we will have a few months with the monitor before going down that route.

Kitty so sorry that AF got you, I really thought it was going to be a big shiny BFP for you.

Skipping it's not over until AF appears.

Hello!

I'm ready to jump on - I've been on the last few buses but as I'm due the beginning of the month it all ends up being over pretty quickly!

We're onto cycle 6 and I'm going all out this month. I've had an acupuncture session and it was great! Compared to the reflexology which just felt like a nice foot massage, this really felt like it did something. I'm temping (vaginally - must remember not to stick it in my gob in my 6am fug!) using conceive plus, softcups and either SMEP or just every other day as I think we've burnt out too quickly on previous cycles. I've been ok with BFN's upto now but I really really want this one to work. As I'm 34 I have already been to docs and had my day 2 bloods taken and got a pot for DH (the logistics of that are hard!) and my form for my day 21 (more like day 25 for me) bloods but I am really hoping it will all be unnecessary.

I'm hoping for a great month for us all - I don't post much but read several times a day Blush

Stats are

SurreyBunny 34 TTC #2 Cycle 6 BFP 3rd July

Hellooooo, I've hopped off the June bus and am hopping on to the July bus. Here's my info,

Cpt1sock, 33, ttc#3, cycle 2, BFP due 8th July

What is pink grapefruit juice helpful for?

Dh also believes he has super swimmers, we got BFP cycle 1 with dc2 and with dc1 we weren't trying. Tried to explain things like age, health and the fact I've had chemotherapy drugs will all effect our chances. He wanted to hold off ttc this time until we were settled in our new house then he could click his fingers and we'd be off. It took a while to convince him otherwise! Think he had a little shock when AF arrived this morn.

Hellloooooo ladies! Jumping on board for July after the evil witch paid a visit a few days earlier than expected.
Mistywillow, 32 ttc#1, cycle 3 BFP due 12th July (ish)

Things I have learned this cycle: my boobs PERMANENTLY ache and it is not a symptom, and, I am addicted to peeing on things. Have ordered some ovulation testing pee sticks, just so I have an excuse to piss on stuff more often. I think I have a problem ....

Hi all :)

Joining as I think af has arrived after my mc :)

TTC#1, Age 31, cycle 5, BFP due tomorrow! (Sat- sorry I should be in June bus..) but I don't think it's likely, two BFN so far and spotting so guessing AF is on the way.

July will be my six month trying to conceive, how do you ladies manage month after month? I'm really starting to struggle, the while process is starting to feel like a chore and absolutely no fun and I'm really starting to feel the stress, my poor partner is amazing and I feel so sorry for him having to put up with my moods. Any tips for relaxing and not breaking down into tears every month? Or am I just being crazy and need a good talking to?

Good luck to everyone for July BFPs (sorry to those of you who got kicked off the June bus) I'm taking a nap on the back seat as we are currently having a break from ttc. Hoping to start again in September and be a proper bus passenger Smile

How long was it after you stopped bleeding Mrsgingerbread? I can't decide if I should be worried or excited.

Report
MrsGingerbread · 13/06/2014 22:06

10 - 11 days after the spotting finished.

I'm excited. Why are you worried treacle ? Does something seem wrong to you? Are you okay?

Report
Treaclepie19 · 13/06/2014 22:22

I'm ok it's just that everywhere I've read that there should be at least 20 days of no bleeding to be counted as af but this is exactly when I'd have expected af in a normal cycle.

Just so confused!

Glad you're getting back to normal :) I hope we both get our bfp's :)

Hi,

Please may I have a seat on your bus? This is my first post, I've been watching these forums for a few months just waiting for my DH to say the timing is right - he wanted to wait until we have exchanged contracts on our first house, which will be in two weeks. So I'm jumping on the July bus...all being well!

I'm 30 TTC#1 cycle 1 and BFP 26th July (in the very unlikely case that it all works out first time around!!!)

Report
MrsGingerbread · 14/06/2014 04:07

Treacle ah yes. But we have shorter luteal phases, so we are special. :)

Fingers crossed for July bus. :) although I am trying to be relaxed that it could take a couple of months for things to get back to normal.

Are you going to temp to see if you ovulate? I'm pretty sure I oved this time, but it'll be good to see what happens this time. Particularly as I'm still getting bfps. So confusing! Have you had a negative test yet?
