July Bus to BFP land with onward flights to Thailand at TTC Airport

Hi everyone, I know this is probably a bit early (since it isn't July yet) but I thought I would start a new thread for those who lost their tickets for previous busses and for those who are beginning their bus journey now. Please feel free to add your stats to the list and grab a good seat while you can. Best of luck to everyone TTC and I look forward to getting many BFP's posted on here.

Spinning, if you don't mind me asking - did you get reflexology because of trouble TTC? Or just to boost your chances of it happening fast? I'd like to try it but wondering if I should leave it a few cycles in case it happens before then (thus saving me some cash!)

Brixton, I'm on my 12th cycle of ttc no.3, I had an early mc in October. I just thought it was worth a try and the lady I've found is involved in trials with hospitals on the benefits of reflexology. She believes it should be available on the nhs before they give out pills for things. She's treated ladies with various problems causing them to despair of ever getting pregnant and many have conceived and gone on to have their baby. She does say that she can't guarantee you will conceive but as I said I thought it was a shot

Im confused just did a bleach test with my fmu and it fizzed up to the top like crazy so did an internet cheapie stick and bfn do bleach tests actually work and its just my pregnancy test is too week to detect anything 4dpo ??

See my pic earlier teadrinkerandatinker, the fizzier one is my 3yo ds's and it was darker so I'm guessing stronger urine means more fizz which makes sense if you used fmu :)

And at 4dpo I wouldn't expect any test would be positive but I'm not a huge expert. I thought hcg levels didn't rise until after implantation which is usually 8-9dpo? Someone else can probably give more info than me.

I believe implantation happens between 6-12 dpo (average is 9 dpo) then it takes around two days for enough hormone to be detected by blood test, then another two or three to be detected by the most sensitive pregnancy test. So I guess you could expect a BFP around 10-17 dpo depending on how long it takes for implantation and also how sensitive the test you use is!

has anyone been refused having a massage because they are ttc? I just tried to book a facial and a massage for a spa weekend coming up but they asked me if I was ttc and when I said yes they refused? it was just a head and shoulder one and I'd be right at the start of my cycle too....

I've ordered myself a frer on eBay which should arrive tomorrow or weds in case af hasn't arrived by then and I'm still getting bfn!

gennibugs Yeah most spa's won't allow certain types of massage if there is a chance you might be pregnant, it's a real shame but must be due to safety so I guess it's all worth it. I do love my beauty treatments and massages though!

I think some places will do some massages though, so I'm surprised they said no to the head and shoulders?

Thanks notoast. Am sat in airport now waiting. With a decaf coffee - a first for me. Still no af. Fx it was old Implantation bleed. It was only a little blob that was tinged brown.

Well, to be accurate it was a 5pence piece sized brown blob. Yuk!!!

So there is still a chance i have an unfertilised egg ? Dtd again tonight then to make sure

I thought dtd when i wasn't ovulating was stressful enough now i know I'm ovulating i just want it to fertilise and stick

genni I think it is like we were talking about before. It probably won't do you any harm to have a massage when pg or ttc but ethically they can not research this area so most places just blanket ban all pg women to be on the safe side. It's like my course next weekend. That's on myofascial massage/release and I'm not allowed to go if pg. And I do a lot of acupuncture and even though that's used to help get pg we can't treat anyone who is pg!

cth1982 Have you tried agnus castus? It's meant to be really good for regulating cycles and making you ovulate naturally even for pcos sufferers. It is called natures clomid apparently.

Cpt1sock There is no way I am going to mention the bleach test to my husband lol. Luckily cinnamongreyhounds ds has proved that its rubbish anyway (or she is going to make a massive amount of money from him in the next year).

FoscarC maybe something to do with implantation. Brown blood is old blood so could be from a couple of days ago and only just come loose? In any event, hope af stays away and your test brings good news as we are all counting on you to kick off this bus in style now . Have a happy reunion with your DH regardless of the outcome.

Finally my ovulation microscope is showing that I am not fertile which is handy at 10dpo . So hopefully that means my estrogen levels have gone down which should result in steadier temps hopefully. Had a nap earlier for a couple of hours as I haven't been sleeping properly for a while now. Having backache, my hips are very sore and my right boob is feeling a bit sore (almost like it has been punched). The veins in them are a bit more prominent but cm has decreased so not sure where that puts me on the pg/af scale.

Things do sound hopeful for you grandhigh

I hope so notoasthere. I just keep looking at the hpt galleries on countdown to pregnancy on my dpo and wondering why mine isn't positive too . Then think it must be because I am not pregnant before remembering that I got a BFN at 10dpo with dc2 so not out yet lol.

Grandwitch it is sounding good for you and I am loving the idea of an ovulation microscope!!!! Although I think this would be something else for me to obsess over and for dp to laugh at
