TheGrandHighWitch · 09/06/2014 09:28

Hi everyone, I know this is probably a bit early (since it isn't July yet) but I thought I would start a new thread for those who lost their tickets for previous busses and for those who are beginning their bus journey now. Please feel free to add your stats to the list and grab a good seat while you can. Best of luck to everyone TTC and I look forward to getting many BFP's posted on here.

Cpt I haven't had anyone try to put me off. I personally like we build houses and want to put my own character into the property. And the help to buy deal is financially sensible so I wouldn't have been put off by other people criticising new builds anyway! I'm just looking forward to finally owning our own home!!!

Laurano I hope you feel better soon!!

Grand thank you for updating all to the stats, especially with the ever increasing group!

kurama · 23/06/2014 15:59

hey 1moretime nice to hear from you again. rainbow if thats not pos its bloody close! hope everyones having a good day. its so hard trying to catch up when ur away for more than a day! thought its been a while lol

Cpt1sock · 23/06/2014 15:59

mrse hope you've managed to see someone and are feeling more comfortable now.

lauran have you been really suffering since the crash? It can take ages for bruising and such to come out fully, I hope you heal quickly.

Hi 1moretime quite a few people here temp. I tried to this month but remembered once I'd got out of bed so decided I'd wait a couple of months, if no BFP then I'll give it a serious whirl.

TheGrandHighWitch · 23/06/2014 16:25

Rainbow555 The bottom one looks positive to me although they can look very different on photos to how they look in real life lol. I was expecting the lines to be exactly the same shade when it described what a positive should look like which is what I think confused me with mine.

Sorry to hear you have been in pain MrsExtraOrdinary, hopefully you will start to feel better soon.

Welcome 1moretime. I do temp and use an app called fertility friend to record the results. It is easy enough to do, you have to remember to keep the thermometer handy so you can get it in the morning when you wake up. No sitting up/talking/having a drink etc is allowed.

Thanks ladies, I've seen the gp who was great for once. Told me to come straight down. Thank god. I must have looked a sight in my sunglasses and hot water bottle outfit. On top of gastroenteritis I've got inflammation of the duodenum. Basically they've given medicine to stop a stomach ulser. The bad news is my grand mother died of a perforated stomach ulcer age 56. I never met her and I'm the spitting image of her. So I'm a bit worried. The really bad news is we've dtd twice within the window. This medicine states "do not get pg". I thought by stomach was going to pop earlier . my dc need me I can't risk a stomach ulcer. So I'm going to have to take it and hope dh didn't hit the jack pot. The chances are he hasn't. OMG what a predicament. Sad

notoasthere · 23/06/2014 16:52

mrse what a stress, hope you are on the mend v soon!

I'm in utter agony with sciatica/lower back pain/hip pain - no idea what I've done to myself!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 23/06/2014 17:00

Thankyou noto. I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself, I am a complete stress head. And now look what a mess!

Oh dear, look at us all, we are falling at the way side. Arnica gel might be worth a try?! I believe it's safe when ttc.

MissMrsMummy · 23/06/2014 17:48

Too much DTD, notoast?! Grin

FoscarC · 23/06/2014 17:51

mrsE it sounds like you are in a real pickle. Try not to worry about your grandma. I know its hard, but medical care has come on a lot and if they are spotting things already they should be able to keep them at bay so that it doesn't develop in to anything potentially dangerous. Have you discussed your fears with your doctor. I work in the medical field and patients often come to see me having been referred from their doctor and they have been told things that have made them panic, and when I've looked into it more closely it is all fine and they had just not had things explained properly by the doctor. I would give them a call if you're worried. And don't google it as it will worry you even more. If you google any symptoms in the world you will end up thinking you are dying. It's terrible!

notoast keep moving as much as you can. Use lots of hot water bottles. Sounds like you have a disc problem, defo neural issues anyway. Anti inflammatories would be best but not sure about these with ttc? Can you see a physio? (I'm a physio but not much help via Internet!)

And let's have some positivity! We are all great and some BFP will be just around the corner! af hasn't visited me yet and I'm in the zone. Could come anytime in the next week. Fingers crossed.

FoscarC · 23/06/2014 17:52

missmrs - made me smile!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 23/06/2014 18:14

Foscar, very sensible advice. I'm not worried about treatment really. I'm relieved not to be in such acute pain. The gp was fab and very thorough. Only that if I was pg already that would be damaging. She did a pg test to rule out last month. didn't mention I did 3 of my own but if I conceived last week of last Thursday even it wouldn't show yet. But what's the choice? There isn't one is there. I've got to take the meds or risk getting worse.

BrixtonBunny · 23/06/2014 18:30

MrsE you definitely have to look after yourself first and foremost (it won't be much fun DTD or being pregnant if you're already in such pain bad you need your energy). I've currently got a very sore left hip & knee - no idea why but it's been going on for a while, it's just a bloody nightmare trying to get a GP appointment where I live! Might try moving docs.

I was reading an interesting article a whole ago about medicines and pg women which was saying almost all meds have warnings on for pg women because they can't do medical trials on them, so have to put warning / ban on them. Many would be safe but they are forced to - which disadvantages women massively! Will try & dig it out later. Hope all poorly ladies feel better soon x

KittyVonCatsington · 23/06/2014 18:31

Those penis dragons couldn't have come at a better time, kurama !!

MrsE you must have been so frightened. I hope you feel a bit calmer and the medicine has kicked in. A stressful situation but one that is out of your control so at this stage, what will be, will be Thanks You come first at this stage so try not to think you are don't something wrong (((hugs)))

Hi 1moretime Just continue what you were doing towards the end of your last cycle. Starting from the beginning may help you to see a picture, but keep DTD every other day or so, in case your PCOS delays your ovulation.

notoast - can your DH get you some volterol gel? It contains diclefenac (sp) and really relaxes my muscle pain. If you want a non drug solution, get some heat pads to stick to your back. Will really ease your pain safely. Hope you feel better soon!

FoscarC · 23/06/2014 18:36

Voltatol gel is a great idea. That's a anti inflam but won't affect any ttc as it only acts on your skin and that area.

It is true what you say brixton. You can't get ethical approval to test pregnant women so they don't really know whether anything is ok or not so they just have to say not to use it.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 23/06/2014 18:50

Aren't you ladies lovely ThanksThanks for everyone. I'm currently not in pain on codeine. it's what they give bfing mums after a c section so I'm hoping it's not too bad. And if not I'm going to go with english's stats that it doesn't affect an embryo this early on, as it's feeding on the egg sack. Smile

missmrsmummy that was DH's suggestion too - I said it was hardly vigorous enough to cause that

foscar yesterday it was travelling down my leg to my foot - hips feel like they have a bursitis but it's the lower back pain that's the worse. Have heat pads on, and will be phoning the private sports physio tomorrow. I had issues with my si joints many moons ago but have been pain free even through pregnancy last time

TheGrandHighWitch · 23/06/2014 19:59

MrsExtraOrdinary, laurano81 and anyone else in pain, I would second voltarol gel or anything with diclofenac in it (allergies or intollerance notwithstanding obviously). I had it after my emcs. With medicines, the doctors etc like to be cautious and don't like meds and pregnancy unless the benefits outweigh the risks. But try not to feel too guilty about developing babies in the mean time. Plenty of babies are born to drug/alcohol dependant mums and end up just fine. Smile

Treaclepie19 · 23/06/2014 20:45

Hi all.

MrsE, I'm glad you're not in pain anymore.
How are those kitties?

I'm in the running for a bfp this month now, just got to keep up dtd. The month I conceived we dtd loads. Can't see that happening this month.

spinningirl10 · 23/06/2014 20:53

Hi all,

June bus is so quiet so I thought I'd pop on here for a catch up Grin

Af due yesterday/today but no sign yet, poas lots of sticks but all bfn so I think the witch is playing games, wish she'd just hurry up now!!

cinnamongreyhound · 23/06/2014 21:24

Hi 1moretime and Saire!

Hope you're feeling better MrsExtraOrdinary and sorry you're stuck having to take the medicine :( but you do have to think of yourself and dc. Lots of improvements in medicine since your gran was 56 so try not to worry about that.

Hope it improves quickly notoasthere! No experience myself but glad you have a physio lined up.
