Hi everyone, I know this is probably a bit early (since it isn't July yet) but I thought I would start a new thread for those who lost their tickets for previous busses and for those who are beginning their bus journey now. Please feel free to add your stats to the list and grab a good seat while you can. Best of luck to everyone TTC and I look forward to getting many BFP's posted on here.

Hi to newbies !
Hope you'll feel better soon MrsEx .
Am on to 2 ww now then again. I'll try to think about other stuff and keep busy which I normally manage the first week ok it's the second week that kills me ...

lp2014 · 22/06/2014 09:46

Hopefully we can all keep you amused for your 2ww nordic!

Treaclepie19 · 22/06/2014 09:50

Hi all :)
Nordic we will distract you!

I don't think I'll need to have a 2ww. Not managing to dtd. My vaginismus has worsened from it doing it for a while (due to the mc and worrying).
Already on cd 11, should have done it at least 3 times by now! :p

xBlueberry88x · 22/06/2014 10:08

Morning ladies,

Men generally have no idea we've been ttc for 15 months and my dp still does quite get it lol.

He does keep me going off the rails though I could quite easily fall into a pit of depression at the moment.

Ive got 4 days off for my birthday so im enjoying the sun drinking alcohol and eating well and then straight onto loosing weight and tests at the doctors request.

Hope everyone is doing well I can't read back properly on the phone.

lp2014 · 22/06/2014 11:22

Never mind Treacle. Hopefully you will feel better soon and little Treacle will be on the way in the near future . Hug xx

MrsExtraOrdinary · 22/06/2014 11:22

Thanks ladies! I really think ill days should be limited to rainy days. It's far too lovely to stay inside. I'm not sure whether to down every medicine going and get ds out in the sunshine strawberry picking. I can collapse later Wink

Cpt1sock · 22/06/2014 11:57

Happy sunny Sunday everyone.

Welcome to all newcomers, sorry to those who have had a visit from the AF hag and hopped over the June bus. I wish lovely springy babies for you all!

I've had a bit of a man moment these last couple of days, after waiting so long to be able to ttc I've been thinking is us having another baby the wrong thing to do for the family. My eldest will be prob 16 at the youngest when baby arrives. Is it selfish of me?
I'm also scared we are stuck in this house, been up for sale since March, the market has slowed right down again. I hate my house, it's tiny.

I've spent Friday & Saturday crying at anything & everything. A picture of Peter Rabbit set me off on Friday at the school flipping fair, not good. I had to give in and take painkillers on Friday night, more tears.I want another child so much and have done for so long and now we ttc I'm freaking out. What's wrong with me? Is this a normal reaction to ttc? Sorry for moany tone to post.

Dh has managed to get out of going away over fertile times, yeah to that!!

Have a lovely day everyone xx

KittyVonCatsington · 22/06/2014 11:59

Morning! (just! Had a very good night last night courtesy of a wine bar)

Grand Agree with MissMrsMummy; you had your surge yesterday and egg is on it's way. DTD tonight, tomorrow, break Tuesday, the none more time, in case you have a slow travelling egg. There is evidence to show that we often stop DTD too quickly. Of course, once ovulation has occurred, there is no point, but we can never truly pinpoint ovulation. Even with your negative OPK today. Have fun!!

MrsE so sorry you are in pain. Ibuprofen is not good if you are pregnant but Asprin is fine, in smaller doses. It's rotten isn't it, when we don't want to risk anything. I refused to take antihistamines for my itchy rash on my back. Just put up with it Blush

Hi junkfoodaddict and sparkle !

Chandlers hi! When do you get your blood test results?! Fingers crossed! I am a little irrational on the jealousy front, I must admit. I have found it hard for my "friend" and colleagues who got pregnant in Feb and March and stayed that way. Everyone else, I seem to be fine with. Crazy, eh?!

laurano81 - I got Balance Activ from Boots and I use the applicators on the key DTD days and the tube on the other 'maybe' days (like today Grin )

Treacle can't believe you have vaginismus on top of everything else. Big hugs, but it's not too late to try for a BFP-when do you normally ovulate?

Blueberry - there is no effing way I could have coped with 15 months without cracking up-you are inspirational with your continuous hope, you really are (((hug))) For any of your dark moments, we are here. I hope that all you need is a little medical assistance and pazzam! Little Blueberry!

laurano81 · 22/06/2014 12:21

missmrs Sorry Af got you! x I am delighted things are working out regarding your mortgage! Yahoo Smile what a weight that must be off your shoulders xx

Notoast I am taking Omega3 fish oils, I wonder will they help my cm this month...also I found generally drinking water & remaining hydrated did the trick just as good! I love my cuppa [tea], & didn't drink as much water as I should! Drinking more water defo improved my CM x

Kitty that's a great sign that your cycle returned to normal! You will your BFP in no time! x

Nordic Yay that you ovulated! Delighted for you! x Fx for a relaxing 2WW & a shiny BFP! x

Cinnamon & missmrs stress causes the release of cortisol, which basically counteracts progesterone...so I too try to stay stressfree! Life better co-operate! Grin

Welcome Junkfood x

Chandlers good luck with your blood tests x Fx all will be well x I am on CD6 as well! AF is still with me, I hope she buggers off soon! Saying that AF was lighter than normal CD3 & 4..xx

lp2014 I hope you feel better soon x

Oh sparkle I am so sorry that AF got you! Your DH sounds very supportive! Good for him & lucky you x

MrsE I hope you feel better soon, I am on Iron too...my stores were down to 9 last month, & they were taken before AF...I was a bit nervous taking them, as you are not supposed to take iron in the first trimester of pregnancy, but doc said I had no choice...also my back has been very sore the last few days, so I had no choice but to take paralief & cataflan...pain was so bad the last few days when the meds wore off I was actually crying Sad x So I really feel for you x That's terrible! x

laurano81 · 22/06/2014 12:22

Kitty that's a great sign that your cycle returned to normal! You will get your BFP in no time! x typos irritate me Hmm Grin

Treaclepie19 · 22/06/2014 12:30

Thank you all. kitty, it's between cd1 and 19 normally. Generally cd19 with a 29 day cycle so I should be ok. Temp still remaining low.

Wineandchoccy · 22/06/2014 12:31

Hi everyone, I'm joining from the June bus as AF arrived. I've been on holiday for 10 days and had a lovely time except AF went then came back again so I'm not really sure this is going to be our month either. My body is a bit confused after mc.

Wineandchoccy, 33, TTC#1 cycle #9, mmc cycle 7, BFP due 15th July

laurano81 · 22/06/2014 12:32

Cpt I really hope you get to sell your house! Try to relax it is still only June! Use affirmations & visualisations to help move that sale along! Wink xx I was 15 when my brother was born & 18 when my sister came along! It is wonderful having younger siblings! They make me feel young! Smile x Family is family, no matter the age gap! My DS is 11 & I often get scared thinking about the responsibilty of bringing another child into the world! It is normal! But you know what the love involved in creating a new life kicks fear in the butt! Grin I am actually so excited about getting pregnant! but even I do get those pangs of panic xx That's great that your Dh will be there during your fertile period! xx Here's to a shiny BFP x

lp2014 · 22/06/2014 12:48

Cpt- it is totally normal to be feeling the way that you are but you will get past that. Trust your desires and everything else will fall into place, i am sure of it. Big hugs xx

lp2014 · 22/06/2014 12:49

Thanks Laurano. Xx

KittyVonCatsington · 22/06/2014 12:54

Capn - perfectly normal reaction. There is 7 and 9 years between me and my siblings-not quite as large , granted. However, the relationship is just as strong, if not more caring/looked after type roles than if there was only a year between etc. I have also learnt a lot about babies/toddlers/children development by childminding my sister's kids in the school holidays. I know a smidgen more about what I am letting myself in for.
So look at it this way- you will be helping your older children become more confident parents in the future, by seeing first hand through their baby brother or sister Wink Seriously though, don't think of the word selfish as being negative here. Turn it to the positive. You will have another little person that you and DH made, whom you will love, teach, cherish and help turn into a useful and valued member of our society.

Wine - how was the holiday?! Do I have to be jealous of your lovely tan??! Wink Sorry AF made an appearance- what was it like when it came back again? Happened to me-I just think it is our body having a spring clean, ready to try again. Watch what happens this cycle but you may be good and ready to go

MrsExtraOrdinary · 22/06/2014 13:56

Thanks Lauran and kitty, I managed to pick a whole punet of strawberries! Grin Ds loved it. Still feeling a bit icky tho! Was up 5 times in the night and not for dtd unfortunately. Of course kitty I didn't think of taking aspirin as my tummy was so fragile.

Lauran I've been taking iron for 15 years honestly don't worry about taking in first trimester. I've taken it throughout 5 pgs and would have been extremely ill if I hadn't. Last blood test my store was at 11. I need to be 120 to feel really tiptop! Ive not had a decent level for several years. I've only just started taking prescribed iron again in the last month or 2. Not consistently. I have to weigh it up with my bowel issues. That's been so much better recently I really think the scar tissue is coping. But the endo is now kicking ibs into touch. I think or was it a bug?!

Medically I think we can just say I'm a pain in the arse. I'd love a fee weeks of feeling truly well. But isn't this sunshine lovely it makes everyone feel so much better. Smile

laurano81 · 22/06/2014 14:13

blueberry that's interesting re ovulation pain! I often wondered that! I have asked for a scan before ovulation & after ovulation, as sometimes ovulation is very painful & I get pain down my leg! I hope all goes well for you,...at least things are moving along for you x Fx lovely lady x

Treacle I'm sorry you have been experiencing vaginismus...you have been through a lot..it's not fair! Try not to let it get to you...have loads of foreplay! (((Hugs))) xx

Wine sorry AF arrived! I hope you are relaxed after your hol..take it easy & then get back on the penis dragon! My sister's friend got pregnant the 2nd month after her MC, and now she is 4 months pregnant! Fx xx

Kitty thanks! I must check if they have it, where I live. I just looked online, there seems to be 6 different types...do you use the Balance Activ vaginal gel - 7 single use tubes? ..there is also a gel there..I agree with all you said regarding having younger siblings! I definetly was a better mum to my DS, from the experience I had being a big sis! I have four younger siblings..x & one little sis in the next world, who no doubt is minding us all xx

Cpt1sock · 22/06/2014 14:15

laura, ip and kitty thank you, I'm not crying again honest, my eyes are just leaking. I'm really excited about telling my boys they are going to be a bigger & big brother. Ds2 has been very vocal about wanting a younger sibling for quite a while but not sure about ds1. There was talk of us fostering my great niece at the start of the year, when we discussed it with the boys ds1 got a bit stressed about it but think it was more to do with the trouble it would possibly bring to the door rather than a baby being in the house. My parents were able to foster her so it worked out ok.

laura my husband thinks I'm crackers. I've got a dream board on the go, I've got various crystals left around the house, before someone comes to view it I burn white sage and do my reiki symbols. Whenever we drive past the house we hope to buy I say hello our new home and imagine the feeling I'll get when I'm handed the keys. Maybe I'm confusing the universe by doing too much haha!

Earlier I did a cb digi ov test, no smiley face as I expected but when I ejected the strip I noticed 2 dark blue lines. I know it says not to go off the lines when strip ejected only the digital result but decided to do an ic and the test line was almost as dark as control line. Do you think that means I'll ov tomorrow?

Thanks again ladies, I need to read back through thread now so I can offer support and not just take from the board. You're a lovely lot, mwah!

laurano81 · 22/06/2014 14:15

*definitely

cinnamongreyhound · 22/06/2014 14:16

Hi wineandchoccy, glad you had a good holiday apart from af!

I feel the same Cpt1sock (minus the house) as I have 12 yo dss and my two are 7 and 3 so 8 and 4 when baby comes as long as it hurrys up about it. My two get on so well and they always say one will be left out with 3. Dss has said he'll leave if we have another one! He was 6 1/2 when ds1 came along and was great with him. The age gap can cause problems with days out that please everyone. We struggle with money anyway and as a childminder my income could reduce with another baby. Plus my dh is 48 so is going to be quite an old dad. All of those things say no but my heart/gut/raging hormones say yes and actually I don't do a lot for myself and I know that once a baby is here they will all love it and we will muddle along financially. I am always very teary when I ovulate anyway and ragey when I get af so that sounds totally normal!

Well done on your strawberries MrsExtraOrdinary! Sorry to hear you have so much to contend with!
