The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+ months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and definitely no mention of baby dust or baby dancing).
Those not abiding by the rules may be escorted from the premises.

Woohoo Bushy!!! Fantastic news and so pleased for you.

RP how did the drs go? Fx everything works out fine for you as well x

HampshireBlues · 12/06/2014 18:40

Fab news Bushy I am so pleased and relieved for you.

FeatherFeather11 · 12/06/2014 18:40

Yes, sorry rp, hope you're ok. How did the docs go? Got everything crossed that it all works out for you. Flowers

My scan is tomorrow at 10am. I have a feeling that the outcome is not going to be good. Been getting twinges in my left side pretty consistently over the last two weeks, and I'm bracing myself for the worst. We've had the most amazing wedding and honeymoon and I just can't believe that I'm probably going to be in ectopic-hell tomorrow. I need all the Berrie power you ladies can muster pls.

WildflowerMarmalade · 12/06/2014 18:46

Hurray!!! Bushy Smile Smile Smile That's brilliant news.

Thinking of you both rp and feather - fingers up and chins crossed both of you.

RevoltingPeasant · 12/06/2014 18:52

Bushy, I'm so, so pleased for you. I can say I know how you've been feeling and I can just imagine the relief and happiness, and I'm so glad it has worked out. It is fab:)

Feather hang on in there. Would you not be in a lot more pain if it was ectopic? I think you will be okay. Also remember how much the mind plays tricks! You have left hand side twinges on your mind, and so.... Don't give up hope. Have you had any other indications of ectopic?

So I went to see the GP and I must say, she was just lovely. I'm so pleased she is my GP. Actually everyone I've dealt with has been fab. What she had to say was not so great though. She said she was "pessimistic" about the viability of the pregnancy and I shouldn't get my hopes up. She asked if I wanted her to try to bring the EPU scan forward but I don't think there is much point.

What does give me a slight foolish ray of hope is that the bleeding has definitely slowed down today - though it has done that before and then come back - and I also did a test when I got home Blush and it was positive so at least I still have the hormone levels, for now anyhow.

Barking how,have you been?

barkingtreefrog · 12/06/2014 18:58

When is your scan rp? I'm totally head in sand, keeping as busy as possible. Another week to get through, but going away for my birthday this week so that'll be a good one Smile .

Monday morning.

Btw they didn't say anything about what to do first but I'm guessing from you ladies that I have to drink like crazy?

Berry good wishes to feather, rp and batking. Really hoping it all works out ok for you all.

bushy don't leave us yet Hmm

greatbigbushybeard · 12/06/2014 20:09

Arr thanks guys! Smile it is a big relief and we've both let ourselves get happy about it but it is still a case of let's not get ahead of ourselves, take it as it comes. Dh had to put more money on the car after the scan and before the doctor meeting and he said he went out to the car smiling and thinking I'm going to be a dad! I sat there on my own taking it in thinking I am pregnant and feeling happy, then got a bit tearful but quickly told myself to man up!!

Funniest conversation today between head and deputy whilst I was there. They were talking about staffing and one of our teachers is going on maternity and is worrying about where she'll get placed on her return. Deputy says well if you choose to have a baby then you choose to have to accept change and we'll try to think about people's strengths but you're a teacher not a specific class teacher sooo... Pretty much suck it up and deal with it!! I was just there thinking ha ha I'm going to mess your staffing plans up even further!! In one way I almost thought maybe I should let them know so they can forward plan but no, they can flipping wait and I'm not going to worry. When we were first ttc I would really worry about leaving my job and my classroom and what I would do on my return but now I don't. It's one good thing to come out of having to wait, you become a bit more pragmatic about things!!

feather I had a lot of twinges on my left side so I don't think it's anything to worry about. I have my fingers crossed for you.

rp also really hoping for you. When I had that big bleed the nurse on the phone was pessimistic and told me to be ready for bad news so don't give up hope. I think leaving it longer until the scan rather than bringing it forward is prob best. Good news that test is still positive. They told me to have a full bladder and bring a urine sample, which I've just realised is still in my bag!! Nice!! I would say don't drink as much as me as I really was bursting and prob didn't need to be as much. I'm sure someone said drink a pint an hour before, I wasn't sure how much of a litre bottle a pint was, perhaps someone can enlighten us. But maybe my amount would have been fine if I hadn't had to wait a half hour over.

chloechloe · 12/06/2014 20:24

Yay bushy that's great news!! I'm so so pleased for you!

rp Sorry that you're in limbo, but I'm really hoping things work out with little dino! What the other ladies have been through on here shows that there's always a chance it will work out, I have everything crossed for you.

Good luck with your appointment tomorrow feather

Great that you've got your first injection behind you lumen

Hi to everyone else, things move too fast these days to keep up with everyone!

beakybeak · 12/06/2014 21:12

Feather sending so much berry power and luck to you for tomorrow. The twinges could be anything and have a good feeling about this one for you. Will be checking in to see how you get on. Everything crossed x

RP good that it has slowed and that you have lovely GP. I really hope the bleeding is nothing. Fx and hugs for the meantime.

funkymonk · 12/06/2014 21:17

Brilliant news Bushy! Wonderful!

RP I'm sure Monday will feel like it takes forever to arrive. Take it easy until then with lots of looking after from your dh. I hope your dinosaur is still thriving. They will likely do dildocam at this stage. I went with full bladder but they told me to empty it. In early pregnancy internal scans give much better images.

All the best for tomorrow Feather.

CatsCantFlyFast · 12/06/2014 22:03

Feather good luck for tomorrow. I would have thought the pain would be v bad and not just twinges if it was ectopic so here's hoping
RP your scan will prob be a dildocam (so no need to drink). If it's not then just drink about a pint of water about an hour to 30 mins before. Def no need to be at bursting point. You can always drink more if they tell you to when you get there but its hard to let a bit out if you've overfilled Grin

CatsCantFlyFast · 12/06/2014 22:04

RP if they didn't say anything about your bladder then it will be dildocam so they want an empty bladder

HowsTheSerenity · 12/06/2014 22:31

bushy hooray!

feather there are lots of reasons for abdo pain so fingers crossed it's your gallbladder or appendix or something. I know it's the wrong side but....

FeatherFeather11 · 12/06/2014 22:54

Thanks all. Just got home from the moon. Going to get to bed and hope I can get some sleep. Will check in with news ASAP. Sorry to be me-me-me. Hope everyone is ok. Xx

barkingtreefrog · 12/06/2014 22:57

Thinking of you feather, sending loads of berry power your way. I'm having hypnosis followed by acupuncture tomorrow (different women in different cities!) so I'll be all mind empowered and I'll send all the woo vibes your way Grin .

rp I had a dildocam last time, I'm not intending to turn up with a full bladder as I can't imagine they'll even bother trying from above this early. Unless you've been told to drink I wouldn't bother.

Anyone else watching the football? I felt so sorry for the croatian goalie, and I don't even think it should have been a penalty.
