Hmmm might as well do that stubborn and dye it green while I'm at it. Wink

Well done tranq! I've found those situations so painful sometimes.

BingoBonkers · 08/09/2014 13:27

Tranq so difficult. You did visit and you did have a cuddle. In my book that makes you a brave and courageous lady. Even if you don't feel like you are.

We've been dtd and already I'm growing tiresome of all this bedroom activity. Think it's the stress and the pressure.

Gingerbreadlady1 · 08/09/2014 17:48

bingo, can so relate. So sick of ttc, ironically it's killed our sex life.

tranquil, if no AF by fri I'll be testing too.

Lol at all the green pubes talk, I'd do it if it works!

I bit the bullet & called ivf centre, apt made for next thurs. Started to organise getting copies of our tests sent over, should save us a few bob. How's everyone else doing?

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 09/09/2014 09:30

Ginger and tranquil and anyone else who's soon testing fx 4 u. When's everyone else testing. I wont be testing end Sept or beginning of Oct. Seems like a life time away
D.P's just text me to say he'll be here at 11. Lazy article over slept.
Ginger I've never used OPK's but I will confess to googling my due date each month. If I am or get pregnant this cycle. Baby ghost will be due 4th June.

Gingerbreadlady1 · 09/09/2014 09:53

Baby Ghost! How cute, it's so difficult not to get carried away. I'm a case in point.

stubbornstains · 09/09/2014 09:54

Goodness ginger, I'm anything but a guru re: OPKs- I've never ever used a single one! How many DPO are you? Did you definitely ovulate this month? (I'm currently on hold to the tax credits hotline, so have All the Time in the World.....Smile)

Gingerbreadlady1 · 09/09/2014 10:11

Morning! Oo lucky you, you may be there some time. I've had an odd cycle. Pos opk 27/28 plus cm, strong ov pains. But within 24 hrs more cm & ov pains on other side. Sore ovaries on & off since (but had this last couple of cycles). So I'm 12 dpo today. Done opk on random days since, had a line but not pos coinciding with 2nd ov pain then neg, until yesterday. No symptoms, everything normal.

I don't chart so not 100% sure. Oh. & had cd21 blood test (actually 1dpo), prog 8. Waiting on cd 28 results call which would have been 7dpo.

Any thoughts?

Blood tests were to check that the mental medication is working & it is!!!

Sorry, very me me me. Wished I hadn't tested as getting carried away. Need reality check.

OP posts:
stubbornstains · 09/09/2014 10:30

Hmmmm.....that's the problem with OPKs though isn't it, that they tell you when you're about to ovulate, but don't let you know whether you definitely have ovulated, or whether your body nearly popped an egg out, but didn't quite.........However, the CM and ov pains 24 hrs later sounds normal, no? The sticks tell you you're about to pop, and 24 hours later the popping's still in progress, as it were? Certainly, I've had ov pains and EWCM on the day of the temperature rise before (so have definitely ovulated, as far as charting is concerned).

Is that what Google has been telling you? That there's no way to be sure? BUT if you're 12DPO, then something would probably show up on a HPT, wouldn't it? I BET you're going to have POASed by the end of the day- good luck!!!!

I'm really glad to hear that the mental meds are working, btw Smile

As for Tax Credits- oh, the absolute wankstains. They won't even let you stay on hold now. They make you give ALL your details to a robot automated voice, then simply say "All our advisors are busy. Goodbye". FUCKERS. Angry. However, I'm just calling them up to ask them to give me less money, as DS has started school, so I've decided to send them a letter setting everything out, and send it recorded delivery. Then if they keep overpaying me for 6 weeks it'll be their bloody fault. Ha! (and breathe....)

Right, I'm leaving the house now for.....my dildocam appointment! (I mean transvaginal ultrasound, obvs, cough cough). Wonder if they'll find anything untoward?

Gingerbreadlady1 · 09/09/2014 10:36

Good luck with dildo cam. Sure all will be fine & another thing you can tick off the list. Any luck with fc apt for clomid?

Pmsl at your post! Will so be testing as soon as I'm home, not even pretending I'm not. I got pos opk before hpt when I got my bfp but, big but ( I like big butts & I cannot lie) you can get a surge pre af. Another ttc head fuck!

Self pity alert. Phoned GP for results. Receptionist babbled a load of stuff that i didn't understand. One test was abnormal. One was borderline. She couldn't"t explain further - GP will phone me 'later on this morning'.........
Sitting at desk, one colleague second week back from maternity

Sparrowlegs248 · 09/09/2014 13:48

Posted too soon....another colleague been married a year ish and everyone was chatting 'oh you'll be next' to male married colleague, and 'oh notta will never have kids, she'll be 48!!' hahaha!! Yeah thanks everyone. Bloody hilarious. Spend half an hour weeping in the toilets and look like i've been punched a few times now. I don't advertise that we are ttc its none of their bloody business.

Made worse that the girl back from a years mat leave started ttc after me.

Gingerbreadlady1 · 09/09/2014 14:03

What a bunch of complete and utter arseholes you work with! Honestly, people! Can you get away early or nip out for a walk? Was the ab the as & your 21 borderline?

It'll all hopefully be clearer once you've spoken with dr. If there are any probs, it's best they're identified and then fixed & everything can be overcome! There's treatments for everything & at least once you know you can be ttc with problems ironed out so on an even playing field so to speak. You're only 37 for gods sake. Nasty bastards.

We've all shed tears over this, just a shame how insensitive people are upsetting you, grrrrrrrr

Sparrowlegs248 · 09/09/2014 14:33

Thanks ginger I know you are right and there is lots that can be done. Still such early days in the process compared to some here. Its just the timing really, colleague returning, test results whatever the he'll they mean, due AFTER tomorrow and had some spotting so pretty sure its imminent. And DH SA tomorrow. I suddenly feel exhausted. I might go home and feel sorry for myself. Thank you for your kind words ginger and good luck with your poas!
