annie how did it go with your boss re start dates? You sound so stressed hon which is far from ideal before you start ivf, firmly believe stress is the leading cause of infertility. Can you slope off for a wee holiday or weekend break to re-set your batteries? When's your start date for new job? Has all the ivf prep now been taken care of?

tranquility welcome back in the game my lovely. I can totally understand your fear (do you not suffer health anxiety)? I'd also be bricking it. I think taking it 1 day at a time is all you can do. Big hugs.

Me, AF came sat, no too disappointed this month due to puppy madness. Although on the plus side, first cycle on new meds to address prolactin issue and lp gone up to 14 days (still a 39 day cycle in total however, not so good). I get my amh test results tomorrow, gulp!

Sorry about AF Ginger, but that's good news about your LP. Can you stay on the meds indefinitely? (Incidentally, have you been experiencing any lapses of self control, errors of judgement, uncontrollable urges to sell your house and put the money on a horse, eat 2 packs of chocolate doughnuts at a sitting, start snorting cocaine off the arse cheeks of a 20-something male model, or any other of the exciting side effects you were promised? ).

My arse would like me to convey its thanks for all good wishes about its health, and it's feeling much better, thanks. It's just one of the many things that are conspiring to make me feel like an old gimmer. Nothing like TTC at the age of 40 to spark a mid life crisis eh!

Lol stubborn! I'm still searching for a male model, they're scarce on the ground in Scotland. Not sure what the score is on these meds but think I can stay on them till prolactin levels reset so to speak. I'm somewhat passive with ttc at moment.

I haven't been here on for weeks. Been avoiding the whole ttc thang and have a new boss in place who has decided to place her desk next to mine...right next to mine!!! Feel like I've gone back ten years! Also means I can't surf whenever I feel like it or need to!

I'm on day 32, normally have 26/27 day cycle! 6 days late! eeeek! Not testing until at least cd35!

Consultant appointment has come through for 3rd September. What happens at the first appointment? It's only addressed to me. Does this mean dh can't come with me?

I wondered where you'd been inshock! It's funny how 2wwers fall into 2 categories- those who are raring to test at about 3DPO, and those who are terrified of the idea of testing and would rather stick their fingers in their ears and go "la la la" until they're several weeks late. I too am firmly in the second camp. Happy "la la la"ing! Everything's fine! Nothing's happening! Pregnant or not? Hey, I'm sure you're not bothered either way! I am so going to be checking in 3x a day for updates

I have found myself something new to drive myself mad about. Round and round in circles I go. Someone seriously needs to moderate me or chuck me off these threads.

Yesterday and today brought the most perfect clear abundant stretchy EWCM like I haven't seen in years. Also I'm a raving sexpot and want to rip clothes off and hump anything that moves. Plus I just did an OPK and it's positive and I have a flashing smiley tormenting me in the bathroom.

Sods freakin LAW! We are strictly on barrier contraception this month because I have the catheter test on monday and I assume that's because they are making sure i'm not preggers before sticking it through my cervix and possible up my tubes???

It would be SO much easier just to get up the duff tonight and never have to go to an IVF clinic!

OK. I've had a cup of tea and calmed down. I'll put my pyjamas on and get an early night. Will hold out for the IVF and then if that doesn't work I'll take this as a good sign for ttc naturally.

7 days late now (gulp!) If by some miracle I am then it will have coffee and cider/wine running through it's veins! I'd taken a month off!

The egg lives off its sac for the first few weeks....I think I read somewhere that a shared blood supply is established about 21 DPO, but don't quote me on that....

Um, do you know when you ovulated this month inshock?

Not sure but looking at dates it probably fell on a weekend...need I say more Stubborn?! :)
