I'm not feeling too hopeful but you never know!

Hellooo everybody!

My home internet is still broken, but I'm MNing from a deserted arts centre again...Smile

We've also been festivalling/ camping /drinkingfor the last 3 weekends in a row, so off the radar for a bit...

Pfffft, AF arrived on Saturday, earlier than expected, too. So sadly, I didn't really get into my Saturday night at the festival, as I was feeling pretty sad Sad. Waste of a good party- DP was happy to babysit while I went out dancing, too....

The upsetting thing was that this meant that my LP was only 9 days this month- as opposed to 11 last month, and 14 the month before. Confusing, much?!

Oh well, ready to get back in the saddle and try again I suppose....

Gingerbreadlady1 · 05/08/2014 12:20

Hiya stunborn, nice to hear from you. Could it be stress affecting your lp? It's odd it's varying so much month to month.

Will I'm due tomorrow. Not optimistic at all. Sounds like you've been keeping busy, I can't be arsed with festivals I must admit, too old!

annie how you getting on with ivf journey?

Hi Stubborn. Sorry the witch got you. She got me yesterday. Flooded off my feet and I have no energy at all.

AnnieHoo · 05/08/2014 15:51

Hi everyone, good to hear your news -Stubborn your holiday sounds great!!! Sorry AF got you too Stubborn and Dontgo, she really is an indifferent old boot.

Ginger FX for you the AF doesn't show tomorrow. Do you have an appointment for AMH test soon? Glad you are having fun with new puppy, I love my doggy, he is good as gold now but was a wee bugger as a puppy!

I'm OK, in a bit of a tizz getting everything in place start IVF. Got my smear result back normal so that's done, now I need Hep B core antigens, Hep B surface antibodies, Hep C and HIV for both of us. I thought I'd already done that Blush but turns out I hadn't so it's set us back. Trying to get this all in place before mid August so I can start treatment before starting new job. Did I mention I was in a tizz?

Good luck to those of you on TWW or waiting for news from clinic xxx

Gingerbreadlady1 · 05/08/2014 20:12

Hi annie, amh test results back on tue (well remembered). This puppy malarkey is hard core, he's making no progress with toilet training. It's making me question if I'm cut out for parenthood!

That's great your getting organised for ivf, did you get those tests at gps? So you're starting treatment in a couple of weeks? That's amazingly exciting! Can't remember if you decided on Edinburgh or Dundee? How you feeling about it all?

It's OK ginger, you can put nappies on babies! (and why they haven't invented one for dogs yet I'll never know). GL with the AMH results- and how's it going w/ the prolactin meds? Wishing you snowy white toilet roll and stain free pants over the next couple of days btw (probably TMI but I'm sure you know exactly what I mean Wink....)

Cor blimey annie, they like to keep you busy, don't they?! But I guess that way you really feel like things are progressing...

Sorry your AF came too Dont...Sending you virtual Cake- the nearest I can get to any today, as I'm fasting....

My internet is fixed again! Oh the joy of sitting in bed of an evening idling it away on Mumsnet!

WRT the shifting LP- apparently it can happen. And it's not always a terrible sign- sometimes it's "Just one of those things" especially if you might be entering the perimenopause. This from the Taking Charge of Your Fertility forums, the best resource for cycle obsessives ever. The hope is that, mostly, it will shift back again (fingers crossed).

Oh yes, DP got the results of his SA back, and they're normal - damn hurrah!

I think, once the depression of AF arriving has lifted, that this is my favourite time of cycle. No expectations and worries for a few days, we can DTD just for fun- until the cervical mucus starts building again, and we're back on the ol' treadmill......

stubbornstains · 05/08/2014 20:58

So much to tell.....I had to say it twice! Hmm

BTW ginger...what do you mean you're too old for festivals?! I'm 2 years older than you!

stubbornstains · 05/08/2014 21:01

I mean four times....Blush

(slinks off....)

AnnieHoo · 06/08/2014 10:58

Hee Hee Stubborn this made me laugh! Grin

stubbornstains · 06/08/2014 13:22

I blame the naughty gateway...Blush

AnnieHoo · 06/08/2014 18:20

Oh blimey I'm crapping it. Managed to get the blood tests done today - phew. New boss has left a message to call him as I emailed him this morn to negotiate starting date of beginning oct as I'll need 2 weeks away at end sept for ivf. I will call him back in the morn. I originally said I could start immediately as didn't realise this could happen so quickly so he will think I'm really flaky now or letting them down already. This is so stressful I am trying hard to keep going without breaking down. Nearly there though. Sorry for spilling out my worries here all the time. It is so lonely this journey.

AnnieHoo · 06/08/2014 19:47

I'll be fine I'll be fine. Have sorted what I'm going to say in head now Smile!

stubbornstains · 06/08/2014 19:50

(strokes shoulder soothingly)

Are you going to tell him the truth?

AnnieHoo · 06/08/2014 21:01

No! I'm going to try to evade giving him the detail and try and wing it. If that fails I have invented a 2 week long computer course I've already paid for.. There will be no tears or wobbly voice Smile. Roaaarrrrrrrrr!!!!

stubbornstains · 06/08/2014 21:24

It's a shame we live in a world where you can't tell the truth about these things, isn't it? Sad The computer course sounds like a good idea. Oh, and belated congrats on the new job!

In these parts, the main story is my parts. Massive outbreak of piles. Oh the glamour. So, no recreational shagging tonight due to hurty bum (although DP is presently cooking us a huge and complex dinner, possibly with an eye to a romantic end to the evening. Sorry DP). Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow.

Tranquilitybaby · 07/08/2014 05:07

Hello how is everyone?

Sorry AF got you Stubborn and don'tgotosleep

Aww puppy sounds gorgeous ginger - pic please!

Well we've officially started TTC again as I've had three cycles since the ectopic now. Alternate between being a bit hopeful and quite calm to well, shit scared that something bad will happen again or it'll never happen again now I'm one tube down. All a bit surreal really.

Just bit concerned I'm going to turn into a testing nightmare as I tested negative the day before AF was due back in April but was obviously pregnant then and then had AF. So either way, I'm going to have to test to be cautious and for my own sanity.

stubbornstains · 10/08/2014 11:54

Good luck tranquility!

Hmmm....how's ginger? AF was due a couple of days ago for you, wasn't it? I hope you're not down and despairing.....maybe you're in limbo torment and wondering whether to test?

AnnieHoo · 10/08/2014 21:20

Hi tranquility and welcome back to the ttc-a-thon! Smile.

Stubborn hope things have calmed now in the bum-grapes department, sounds really really sore Blush

Ginger hope you are OK. We are missing you! It's all a bit tumbleweedy round here since puppy arrived on the scene! Wink

Hope all is ok with everyone else X
