Hi, I'm not sure if theres already a thread for those hoping for a +ive October. I'm on the +ive Sept one but my fertile window for this month has just passed without being able to try (got to get blood sugars stable before we can try) so next chance to try will be towards end of September (32ish cycle), which means I won't be in a position to test til October. If theres already an October thread please point me in that direction, if not, here we go!

Hey ladies, what a treat for me, never normally get to post at the weekend but DH is at the football so why not!

Hello to you all especially:

Desperate - can we help read your signs at all for you to see if you have OVd? if you do get a +ive Sept, you'll only bring us luck on the Oct thread luck so you are welcome!

Lovelybird - really hope things happen quickly for you again but nice to have you here in the meantime!

RachelRose - hey there my new pal! LOL at your just for fun comment, us too this weekend! Plus, major breakthrough - DH is on board to have a 7 day session (well once a day will do!) from Thurs to see if we can get it right this month!! Remind me, what is Monday for you? it will be CD10 for me so I am going to start my OPKs on Weds (CD12)as I have OV CD16 & CD18 the last two cycles.

Natty - all the very best for Tues, glad things are moving for you! Re your questions, I think the grapefruit juice and cough mixture only help around OV but I take them CD1 through to OV just in case that helps (along with the EPO). Thank you for your kind hopes for me, last month just wasn't to be!

Feedmenow - nightmare re the in laws?! grrrr! Hope you managed a sneaky BD anyway!

Babymad - sounding interesting with you, hope you are sick for the right reasons, let me know!

Not much to report from me - CD10 no CF to speak of and temps just running along at their low level as usual. Lots of practising going on but too early for it to be BDing right now!

Enjoy what's left of the weekend!! Babydust to all ........................................................................................!

desperate2bmum · 17/09/2006 17:05

rubyroo · 18/09/2006 07:45

hi all am new to this and have read a lot of this thread. ave been trying for a couple of months now and temping but not ovulating i think am having day 21 test done soon to see. am on day 15 and have been bding all weekend but no positive opk yet! couldn't sleep last night which is why i'm on so early and my temps are all messed up due to lack of sleep any advice? have been epo and agnes castus all month but not grapefruit juice as yet does red grapefruit juice count too? how much? any natural remedies to induce ovulation? am hoping to avoid clomid but may have to thanks

RachelRose · 18/09/2006 08:29

Hi, Everyone and welcome rubyroo! Fab name... How are my cycle buddies? We are coming up to the important stage eh

MrsMcJ, am on CD11 today so just one day ahead of you. But, I've got no idea when I OV, but started my OV tests today - V excited - first time I've used them. I dont know why I'm so excited, I guess its just because something is different this month so it might work. Grapefruit juice and cough mixture next month I think .

RubyRoo, I'm not experienced enough to help you with natural remedies for OV, but am sure others will be able to help. Good luck!! Stay on this thread to let us know how you get on with your day21 test.

We had a lovely weekend messing around on the beach in northumberland - FAB! And better than that my cousin got a BFP after her first round of IVF - before that was trying for 3 years. Very very pleased for her

rubyroo · 18/09/2006 08:34

thanks RachelRose, i've done opk today ave been up for hours sadly and got 2 lines! had 2 yesterday but thought other 1 was a bit faint. good news about your cousin

RachelRose · 18/09/2006 08:46

Hey Rubyroo, 2 lines... Thats good news eh? I used the digital one today but from my pregnancy testing experience 2 lines tends to be good. So I guess lots of BD for you!!! Fingers crossed this is the month for you

rubyroo · 18/09/2006 08:53

i hope so feel slightly insane at the mo with thinking about it all the time and dh is knackered from all the BDing we're upto!! told him today he needs lots of protein to keep his strength up!

rubles · 18/09/2006 09:05

Morning all. I'm on CD9 or CD10 here. I am going for a month of no EPO and no grapefruit juice as I have forgotten what normal is so it is an experiment to see the difference. I think that in previous months normally by now I would have started 'gushing' with CM, but it might just be I'm ovulating slightly later this month. We'll see. I want to find out if my luteal phase is any different this month.
We BD'd last night ("just for fun" ) so that will muddy the waters with regards to checking the CM for today and tomorrow.

MrsMcJnr · 18/09/2006 10:23

Morning ladies, CD10, nothing at all to report!

Hi Desperate - I am interested in psychics too. I had my cards read just before DH and I got together and it was amazing how much of what she said has happened. She told me that just because things happen quickly, it does not mean that they are not worth anything and that I'd get the fireworks I'd dreamed of (that was the word I'd always used to tell my friends how I'd wanted to feel about the man I married!) but to remember that fireworks are a shock, the road would not be easy. DH and I moved in together 2 months after we got together but it was 4 1/2 years before we married due to financial worries and me being really sick. Let me know how you get on in November! I got my pre-seed from Accessdiagnostics.com by the way.

Welcome Rubyroo - sorry to hear you are not sleeping well, are you worrying about TTC? I think any grapefruit juice is meant to have the same effect. I do not know about inducing ov I'm afraid but I'll check my book later and report back. It sounds positive about the OPKs though, hope it all works out for you!

Hey RachelRose - how did you get on with the OPK? I think the psychology of doing something extra to help you conceive has to be a good thing don't you? Glad to hear that you had a lovely weekend and that is fab news about your cousin! my cousin lives in Brazil and is due a baby boy any day now, very exciting!

Hey Rubles - let us know how your experiment goes! Do your keggels and then check CF later on, if you do them a few times for a few hours, CF should be back to normal later on.

Remember everyone to drink lots of water, that is meant to help with CF as you will be properly hydrated and water is something we can all safely take

Hello to all those I have not mentioned and babydust to all

nuttymum1 · 18/09/2006 11:45

MrsMcJnr · 18/09/2006 12:15

Hello NattyandThomas!!!! Hello NuttyMum

RachelRose · 18/09/2006 13:21

Hi Ladies - Having lunch at my desk - Salad and chocolate bar - bit of a contradiction!

Got on OK with the OPK. The worrying part was that I woke up at 6am but dozed for a while and dreamt of doing my OV test - I was that excited about it! OMG, that's really sad isn't it . Needless to say it was a bit empty cicle so no smily face for me yet. However my CM monitoring is all over the place. I think I managed to have wet / white and creamy and egg white all in one day! I know thats TMI, but...

Hope you all having a good day!

MrsMcJnr · 18/09/2006 13:32

Hey there RachelRose - don't feed the computer mouse now! Re CF - it can change all day but for charting, we just record the most fertile quality that we see that day - still early days for the OPK so don't worry, this is the exciting time I'm going to start testing on Weds, that'll be CD12 for me.

Babymad4num3 · 18/09/2006 13:41

Afternoon ladies!

CD11 today, BDed on CD7-8-10 and will be BDing on CD12-14-16-18, just in case! Another +opk today, had alot of EWCM last night (had the 6inch string thing going on soz if TMI at which point I dragged DH upstairs which he loved) and today wet high and soft, feel more and more on top of this TTC due to the self body information instead of TTC being on top of me, if you get what I mean.
Still feel really sick and tried which is getting me down, did a Clear blue PG yesterday and it came up with a + than when the 2mins was up it just read - then after 15mins it was a + again, I give up, I'm taking it as a neg, as it said only read between 2-10mins not before and not after that time, so a neg for me going doctor if still feeling sick on Wednesday!
Hope you all are happy and well, not really had much time for internet for a few days, plus DS first day at school today I didn't cry, almost did tho!

DD1ofcolandgerry · 18/09/2006 13:54

Ahhhhhhhhhhh Im back on the ship

Ok, today is CD2 (miscarried yesterday-details on sept thread) I should have started clomid on CD1 but was too stressed, so started today. Will take for 5 days, and then start on the cough syrup. Is there anyone else on the same CD as me??

I havent had a chance to read the last few dys posting, but will do now to catch up on everyone

baby dust and love to all

dd1 xxx

MrsMcJnr · 18/09/2006 13:58

Wow Babymad - I thought that kind of EWCM was a myth!! Bit worried about you feeling so sick, can't help wonder if you are already pg!

Hey there DD1 - I posted for you on the Sept thread, from a very selfish perspective, it is nice to have you back with us, you've been missed. I hope we can make you feel better

desperate2bmum · 18/09/2006 14:05

babymad soooo of you about ewcm..i think you must have my share!!
the testing sounds dodgy too...and feeling sick did you use a digital one? think you should definately go to the doctors hun must be playing havoc with your mind am i or arnt i? fingers crossed for you hun xx

Natty1806 · 18/09/2006 14:17

Babymad - i sometimes feel sick around ovulation time maybe this is what is happening to you? Best see doc just in case.

DD1 - going over to sep to read about it, so sorry for you. x

DD1ofcolandgerry · 18/09/2006 14:38

Mrsmcjnr,

thanks for letting me know that Ive been missed, it really made me smile, and it helps to know that the people on mumsnet really do care about the other mumsnetters. We all go through the turmoil that ttc brings, and whilst family and friends try to understand, unless they have been here, its difficult for them to fully comprehend.

dd1

MrsMcJnr · 18/09/2006 15:22

You're welcome old chum! The great thing about Mumsnetters is that there is no agenda, just genuine solidarity. I don't mean anything sinister by that but all our friends and family are directly affected in some why by the things that happen to us and they get caught in their own emotions too but on here, whilst we all care an awful lot, our advice is still impartial and not motivated by anything other than our concern for you

Babymad4num3 · 18/09/2006 16:15

The test doesn't worry me weather I am or not isn't going to send me off course for the planning this month, just incase! I'll go doc sometime this week if I have time, as I've also got really bad headache too, really bad, I've had 13 headache in 8 days, I had enough I might be feeling sick due to them! soz this is TMI when I had that string thing going on, it looked just like in the TCOYF book, on page 6 after page 170, and was about 6inches I was shocked, DH just about to get in bath I said no way upstairs' now lol, but he loved how I tuck charge must do it more often!
