Hi, I'm not sure if theres already a thread for those hoping for a +ive October. I'm on the +ive Sept one but my fertile window for this month has just passed without being able to try (got to get blood sugars stable before we can try) so next chance to try will be towards end of September (32ish cycle), which means I won't be in a position to test til October. If theres already an October thread please point me in that direction, if not, here we go!

Congratulations Tili!! I am so pleased for you!!

See all you guys who join us when you know you are pg!! you come on here and raise our BFP numbers and give us all so much hope and faith...who do you think you are?! Thank you for sharing with us!

Hello to all the newbies!

Fingers crossed for you NuttyMum.

Rubles - I thought implantation dips could happen (mainly) between 7dpo and 10dpo so 10 dpo wouldn't be too late. Don't want to give false hope but it's not over yet chick.

Hello Divamummy - tell us your signs! we are always trying to pinpoint what it is that lets people just know that they are pg, it's a bit like describing an elephant it seems!

Sending you big hugs Natty, I hate doctors, needles the works so I can just imagine how down you feel.

Thanks RachelRose - hope you are well. The meeting was hard but won't know outcomes for a few days yet, nerve wracking!

MrsMcJnr · 02/10/2006 14:50

N&T&B - sorry I missed you

I'll be testing on Friday if AF does not turn up on Thurs but I know 11dpo is still early and I'll get a good idea from my temps I guess if things are going to work out. Even a longer LP than 10 dpo would be an achievement. Feel so close and so far away, always feel like that at this stage in the cycle though! Thanks for all the good vibes and babydust.

Hope you feel a bit better soon!!

trace2 · 02/10/2006 15:38

Natty1806 · 02/10/2006 15:41

Thanks for the big hug Mrs McJnr, hope you hear about your job soon it must be terrible waiting.

x

Also just read on another thread about sore boobs being linked to progestrone so why do most pregnant women have sore boobs to start with?

nuttymum1 · 02/10/2006 17:17

hey congrats nattythomasandbump!!!!!!!!!

rubyroo · 02/10/2006 20:34

hi everyone, i don't think i'm going to swell the ranks of bfp's this month. tested again today this afternoon couldn't help it but still bfn am now 14dpo no af but stomache pains like its on its way. temps still up but not sure it means anything if keep getting bfn's. am on day 29 so must have long luteal phase i think? sending hugs out to all others feeling down and remember its not all over yet this month.

coggy · 02/10/2006 20:38

Natty...........it's the progesterone that keeps the egg implanted and womb lining nice and fat so I guess that's why we have aching boobs before AF and when first pg.

I don't....which in hind-sight........may be because my progest. is low which is why my womb lining doesn't last very long?????

Hark at expert Coggy here!!!!

Sorry you're bloods were grotty...I hate them all......needles, blood tests and the nurses who use you as a pin-cushion while they talk about about their recent Cornish holiday.
Grrrrrrr!!
Can you tell it's happened to me a few times???!!!

MrsMc.........all I'm going to say is.......
...........ooooooooooooooooooh!!!

Oh...and.....hope today went well for you.
X

coggy · 02/10/2006 20:39

Sorry..also meant to say....

......Rubles....I hope you feel better this evening.

Oh well on wards and upwards - better mood today can you tell.

coggy · 03/10/2006 07:37

Good.

coggy · 03/10/2006 07:43

That was a little sympathetic smile BTW!!!!!

MrsMc (and any other TCOYF software fans) there is a NEW charting thread for us to collect and ponder our data!!!!!

Come join us!!!

NattyandThomasandBump · 03/10/2006 08:05

ooo my tocof software has just predicted that i am pregnant! tee hee...

MrsMcJnr · 03/10/2006 09:07

Morning ladies, me temp dropped down by .2C again this morning so even though I am still above my coverline, there is nothing special about my chart this month compared to previous cycles I also feel crampy so suspect that AF is on her way, I know I shouldn't give up hope yet but I feel like I need to prepare myself for the inevitable. Thanks to all sending me good vibes though, I will try my best to stay positive.

Hello Rubyroo, sorry you are hope AF stays away, some people don't get a BFP until well past 21dpo you know, the high temps are still worth hoping on. Hope it works out for you but I know what you mean about the tell tale cramping!

Hello Coggy! I agree with you and Natty, I think the progestrone does give you sore boobs. Mine have been sore since about 4dpo and they are never normally so hopefully, if I do not get my BFP (and I am not longer confident) I'll get a longer LP.

Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes about my job, think I have one for another month at least so am trying not to worry yet.

Hello Natty & hello Rubles hope you both have a better day. Hello Andi - thanks so much for all your good vibes!

Hello N&T&B - do you think the software is male?

Babydust to all, let's keep thinking positively and we will all get those BFPs!

sideways · 03/10/2006 09:31

MrsMcJnr, sorry about the temps, don't give up hope just yet though.

Natty1806 · 03/10/2006 09:32

Hi Mrs - sorry to hear temp has dropped again fingers crossed you get a longer LP this month. x

MrsMcJnr · 03/10/2006 09:33

oh thank you Sideways, I just don't have a good feeling . How are you? was it just spotting or do you think AF will arrive tomorrow? hope you are feeling less sad today.

sideways · 03/10/2006 09:39

AF showed definite signs yesterday afternoon, there's no way it coul dbe anything else, even though I keep wishing it away!

It's the fact that I was on holiday and so relaxed and can't even get pregnant then, plus the fact that dh is away all this month so that's it till December.

I think I may get the Toni Weschler book and get really serious and read up about it while he is away.

I'm just really conscious of the fact that I'm getting on a bit and every month increases the age gap with dd.

spook · 03/10/2006 09:41

Hi everyone. Can I join!!
I had an ectopic pregnancy in July and my cycle is back to normal-though I am one tube down!
My AF not due till around about 15th but like we all do I am waitng in hope...

sideways · 03/10/2006 09:46

Hi spook, welcome . Fingers crossed for you.

MrsMcJnr · 03/10/2006 10:06

Thanks Natty. Your temps on the other hand are looking good! .

Sideways - so sorry. Don't beat yourself up. A holiday is only half a cycle (unless you are really wealthy!) and even if everything is perfect, there is still only 1/3 chance (I think that's right). Is the next cycle definatley a miss? is DH away for whole week around ov?

I was telling myself this morning that if Christmas is only 12 weeks away, that means I've got 2 more chances beforehand but as long as it does happen, will a cycle or two really make the world of difference to us then? and we will get there!! The TW book is good, I have read it and felt more in control of things having read it. Hang in there. Sending big hugs and a virtual bottle of wine for us to open a bit later in the week (can't help still hoping!)

Welcome Spook! Sorry to hear about your ectopic that must have been very scary. I know we are talking about the dark ages but my gran had an ectopic between my mum and my aunt and then had 3 more kids on the one side. Babydust to you!

Meant to tell you all yesterday but I had a massive row with DFIL on Sat night. He had had quite a lot to drink and said to me "you've been married 4 months now, best get yourself to a dr". Well, I exploded which was probably really mean, he is 73 and a totally different generation but I gave him whatfor, told him that I did not need his pressure, that he had no idea what our situation was and if we were even TTC and that in case he had not noticed, I am not a 20 year old who's never used contracpetion and that I am entitled to give my body a chance" oh dear! No offence to any 20 year olds who have never used contracpetion out there who are having trouble TTC, it is just my way of accepting that I am 32 and have had 18 years of the pill and therefore cannot expect immediate results!!

sideways · 03/10/2006 10:15

DH goes on CD1 and comes back on CD16. I ov early though - around CD10, so that's why the whole cycle is out.

spook · 03/10/2006 10:15

Thanks Sideways-sorry if your AF is coming. And what a bummer if DH is away all month
Hi MrsMcJnr. It was pretty horrific but I suppose at least it shows I can still conceive. I'm 40 in March and with a new partner (already have 2 DS's) and would truly love to have a baby with him.
Tell you FIL to keep his beak out BTW. The last thing any of us need is that kind of misguided comment.

RachelRose · 03/10/2006 10:25

Oh dear MrsMcJ - What a rotten thing your FIL said. Age is no excuse for being so rude! . Sounds like you handled it well and I doubt he'll make the same mistake again. Its such a valuable lesson that not everyone finds it easy to have children and I cringe at some of the things I've probably said to people - nothing like you FIL, just think I may have said "So, when do you think you'll have kids?" to people - not anymore though.

Welcome Spook - We'll all be keeping our fingers crossed for you around the 15th and hope AF stays away.

Sideways - I really relate to what you said. I have a DS who is 2.6 yrs and I also worry that with every month that passes, its another month in the age gap. I know it wont really matter too much and their personalities will dictate whether siblings get on more than age, but it does play on my mind. Like you, I'm going to do some reading up and give myself the best chance over the next few months. Like you say MrsMcJ, there are still 2 more chances til Xmas!

Hi Rubyroo - fingers x'd AF stays away - its not over yet.

sideways · 03/10/2006 10:25

Thanks spook, the ectopic sounds awful but like you say at least you know you can still conceive. You give me hope - I'm not far off 40 myself . did it take you long to conceive?

MrsMcJnr - sorry about the row with FIL. He probably had no idea how insensitive he was being, in his day that's what you did as soon as you got married. Bet he won't mention it again though
