Hoping for a positive in October!

Hi, I'm not sure if theres already a thread for those hoping for a +ive October. I'm on the +ive Sept one but my fertile window for this month has just passed without being able to try (got to get blood sugars stable before we can try) so next chance to try will be towards end of September (32ish cycle), which means I won't be in a position to test til October. If theres already an October thread please point me in that direction, if not, here we go!

hope your ok feeling. im feeling low today as been on and off spotting all week and think my cycle gone haywire again, still neg ov test thats nothing since i started, thats nearly 7 weeks ago

willl i ever ovulate?

this is really getting me down now, how can i even ttc when dp doesnt want to do it coz im always "on"

any help or ideas greatly appreciated

hi everyone been reading all the posts this thread moves quick! mad4girls i was having trouble ovulating and started taking agnus castus and epo every day and it seems to have worked this month. i'm having blood tests tommorrow to see if i ovulated this month but i'm feeling pretty confident i did. am on antibiotics though for kidney infection and feel a bit stressed in case i am pregnant can't test till thurs though at earliest gp said i had to take them or infection would worsen rapidly so trying to be optimistic. temps are still up so its just a waiting game.

Mad4girls sorry your feeling down have you been to doctor regarding the matter?

Rubyroo I have "Chronic Pyelonephritis" and always get "kidney infactions" but when i tell my doctor I'm TTC, he dose a PG test for me, if neg and no AF he just gives me "amoxicillin" till AF then puts me on "trimethoprim" which is the only one that works for me!

Sounds positive Rubyroo, fingers crossed for thursday, and that your kidney infection goes.I I had a spate of getting those and they are rotten aren't they. Can I ask what epo is?

Its CD17 for me and according to my OV tests, I've not OV'd yet - I started testing on CD11. Am not sure whether to get some more and carry on? I'm tempted to as its the first month I've used them and I may be a late OV-er. Having said that I've been having pretty regular 28 day cycles so just expected it around day 14... Its all very confusing. It would be sods law if I tested on a month when I'm not going to OV at all!!!

On top of that feel as sick as a dog today... I know its not morning sickness (sadly) as have been cleaning up after DS1 all morning. Must have a bug I guess.

hi rachelrose i meant evening primrose oil but just too lazy to type it!! they did a pregnancy test on me on fri(day19) but it was negative but i'm hoping that it was just too early to tell (i think i ovulated on day15). it was amoxicillin they gave me and i've googled it and it says its ok to take if pregnant. am feeling better after a couple of days on that.

i am also seeing pregnant women everywhere and everyone i know through dd is now pregnant again am trying really hard to be happy for them and not to despair!

I know what you mean rubyroo... Thats 2 people now from the NCT class with DS1 who are now pregnant. Am genuinely happy for them but just think it would be so good to be in that position too!

Hi all. Ttc and a bit ignorant about when I can conceive during my cycle. How many fertile days are there? Before my m/c in January I used to get af at around the 24th of the month. Now I get it on the 5th or thereabouts. Would I still be able to conceive over the next day or so?

Natty & Thomas - did the line come up in the time on the packet? If so then no i do not think it would be wrong maybe go and buy a more expensive one from Boots if it makes you feel more certain.

NattyandThomas your about two days earliy am i right? I tested with DS#2 3 days earily and i got a pos, but not with the ebay one's, i agree with Natty1806 get a "Clear Blue" or something today, let us know ASAP, I'm keeping everything crossed for you chick!

hi all!ive been ttc since ihad mc in april.

still bf dd3 who is now 2 (i am trying to stop though as she is completely obsessed!!)

af due on friday,but i have been feeling soooo sick for the last few days,and was sick yesterday.also got extremely sore nipples!!(been putting it down to dd,but have been fine up until the last few days)

do you think its too early to test?

Hi all.

Babymad, I saw your temps and they are very clear aren't they. I don't think you need to watch your CM after you have got the temp rise - well you can if you really want, but they aren't an indication of anything. FWIW I too get CM throughout my luteal phase, but it probably varies person to person.

CONGRATULATIONS to NattyandThomas!!!!!!

I am 3dpo now so let the waiting begin. Is anyone else the same?

Buffy, it sounds hopeful for you. If you really have to then I'd advise waiting until tomorrow morning's urine tho'.

Hello Buffy - welcome! re being too early to test, it is probably but that would depend on when you OVd. Do you know?

How is everyone else? v quiet on here today! CD17 for me, temps all over the place, haven't got a clue what is going on (36.7 yesterday, jump from 36.1 the day before but then back down to 35.9 today so expecting the thermal shift tomorrow) but still getting positive OPKs so let's hope there is a swimming gala going on
