Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

Hooya popz, you did have curry yesterday! Wink

Although my sore throat can't possibly be anything other than a BFP, right?

Wilhelminand · 27/04/2014 20:03

I'll give you a mini hooya but will also admit to being intrigued by your nausea and sore boobs. I asked about the nausea because I found morning sickness like motion sickness and not the kind of sick you feel when hungover or have a bug, if that makes sense? probably not

RPopz · 27/04/2014 20:24

Lol Dulce, are sore throats a thing? Cos I had a sore throat on Thurs night 20 hours into my 24 hour day Shock Ha... stop me someone please Grin

RPopz · 27/04/2014 20:27

Can we have a new award for "Most symptom spotting done in space of 3 hours" ... Cos I'm winning it! Grin

DulcetMoans · 27/04/2014 20:27

If you ask Dr Google it is, of course! It all is!

ZylaB · 27/04/2014 20:35

Just caught up, you've all been busy posting today!

Can I request a special sausage sarnie too please?! childish snigger

Convince me not to test again tomorrow, need shares in clear blue lol :D

DrFunkesFamilyBandSolution · 27/04/2014 20:46

Babble, implantation bleeding (don't!! Dr google in, nasty pics of ladies holding blood clots and the like).

RPopz, piar!

*ZylaB, piar! No don't test...oh go on then Grin

Wilhelminand · 27/04/2014 21:23

Ha I have googled that before. It's rank. I was going to suggest that too Babble, that's why I wondered if it was normal for you.

Zyla I was going to convince you not to but then I couldn't actually think of a reason why. It's bloody frustrating if you PIAROC and get BFN but it's just as frustrating to wait for AF to come and not know. Do you have any more symptoms apart from metallic mouth?

ZylaB · 27/04/2014 21:32

I've had what feel like pre AF cramps for a week now, metallic mouth gone. Tbh I'm way less positive than I was a week ago, but it's the lack of AF tho...

Oh and I did have my meltdown on fri lol, but that could be due to pg hormones or pre AF hormones lol... So I dunno :)

Wilhelminand · 27/04/2014 21:45

God I'm frustrated on your behalf!

Babblehag · 27/04/2014 22:42

It wasn't clots or anything that drastic it was literally like a small graze type of amount of blood, my kids lose more when they lose a tooth! sorry if its tmi I'm now going to look at Dr google,

pops you definitely win at symptom spotting.

zyla what about doing a cb first response test as opposed to the normal ones? fx for you Grin eeekkk

Babblehag · 27/04/2014 22:49

ooooooooooooooh that's seems promising!! they should have a wide eyed raised eyebrows excited emoticon here, or something flappy Grin

lala5 · 27/04/2014 23:43

Back in the game! My 2 week sulking is done and the jsIng has commenced!

Wilhelminand · 28/04/2014 00:15

Well done Lala!

Mr Wil and I made up so I also managed to get the cape on. Today was CD16 and my cycle is 28 days I think. Do you reckon I can stop now? Aargh I wish I was 100% sure I had iced already.

ZylaB · 28/04/2014 06:28

babble I didn't test this morning! but might get a first response for tomorrow! but actually being late now I don't know if they're better or not?

wil you probably have iced now on a 28 day cycle, but I usually err on the side of caution, give it one more go today or tomorrow then stop?

And...eight.Monday, but only a few weeks until holiday! Squeeee

Babblehag · 28/04/2014 07:30

Zyla, I would have thought that the first response would have more hcg detecting chemicals in than standard tests, so would pick up a very new pregnancy perhaps??

symptom spotting big time over here, I have the worst gammy mouth and I feel nauseaus! I'm putting it down to psychological
longing now as my boobs are normal, no aching, no itchiness, no soreness, they don't even feel heavier, nipples are still pink too. my mammories are usually the biggest indicator of any hormonal change and they haven't failed me yet.

lala5 · 28/04/2014 07:48

Morning viroids! I'm utterly fed up and confused - I have this period tracked app which says my ave cycle is 33 days - but I don't think it's right because one anomaly of 39 day cycle (stress related) is skewing it. So although my opk said surge was on day 21 last month calendar says it was day 24. This has thrown out this current month completely and I'm totally confused.

Calendar reckons ill ice on cd20 this month which I think must be bollocks. Confused

I feel so frustrated - how do women get pregnant by accident?

Not a good start to Monday, sorry for sounding woeful...

RPopz · 28/04/2014 08:01

Morning all.

Glad your sulking is done Lala! Cape wearing is much more fun. My cycles are 32-35 days and I iced on day 16/17 if that helps? Apps are not great to be honest.

Good news on the cape wearing Wil!

Babble are you trying to pinch my symptom spotting award? Wink

I don't feel sick today and these are definitely period boobs so... just waiting for the inevitable now!

SnowCoveredHills · 28/04/2014 08:12

Morning!

Lala I use Fertility Friend to track my cycles. It gives you an average cycle length, but also list of all your cycles so you can make your own mind up as to whether an anomaly is throwing it out.

Babble - beware getting hopes up over implantation bleeding. I really hope it is what you think it is, but I did just this, had unusual tiny fresh blood spot mid-cycle, googled it, decided it was definitely IB. Got my hopes up... and then AF came as normal. Sometimes our bodies just do things to mess with us. Like I say, I hope it's not the case with you, but do try not to get your hopes up too much.

Zyla..... POAS woman! I'd be buying all the different brands now and trying them all!

RPopz · 28/04/2014 08:35

Ooh Zyla how could I forget you! How late are you now? Will you poas again today? Got everything crossed for you! Grin

Wilhelminand · 28/04/2014 08:35

Definitely go with OPK over app Lala. If you don't have a regular cycle I don't think app will be much use. Sorry your week has got off to a crappy start. Sounds like you need a cape made of steel for this month.

Come on now Rpopz, it ain't over yet. Also if you get sore boobs anyway I don't know how you'd tell the difference. Nausea doesn't have to be constant.

Boobs are a good indicator Babble but it may still be too early. Zyla you're probably right. One more go just to make sure. Although I am no longer feeling murderous so figure I'm past the day. CM isn't being particularly helpful this month.

I can't get used to calling you Snow, Mich!

Wilhelminand · 28/04/2014 08:37

Rpopz we actually are posting twins!

DulcetMoans · 28/04/2014 09:02

Morning all!

lala - the problem with apps is they work on the information you put in, they don't actually know anything. I use mine to track how when AF is due but I would never trust the day it thinks I ov, it's basing that on a number I put in months ago so probably not accurate. Don't worry about what the app says too much, especially if you think it's wrong. Just get shagging if it feels right!

I have a minging mouth this morning too babble but sore throat still there too so probably some stupid illness on the way!

RPopz · 28/04/2014 10:36

My day 21 progesterone is 42.8. Apparently greater than 30 means I ovulated so that's one good thing....

lala5 · 28/04/2014 11:03

Popz don't give up yet - i think problem with symptom spotting is everyone's different. Stay positive x
