English I've had the cd3 and 21 bloods done, all the thyroid, iron etc and an ultrasound inside and out! The GP pronounced me normal this morning. Though I don't feel it! Its DH's SA we are waiting on. Been 8 long weeks as they 'forgot' to refer him the first time. I can only assume there is a problem with him, but I live in hope. 7more months ttil we can get referred.

victoria401 · 15/04/2014 15:38

poly I am also a persistent fainter with low bp. Happened on many occasions and embarassed the hell out of me. Especially when I tend to release my bladder at the time of fainting :-( worst was on the bus from the shops once, not one person rushed to rescue me from my puddle of pee and I missed my stop! After I came to I had to walk home with wet jeans. They prob thought I was a druggie or something, curse of living in a city, no body cares :-(

gennibugs · 15/04/2014 15:52

I am sooooo tired today. think its the new job stress tiring me out. am looking forward to getting home and blobbing on the sofa with a creme egg.

5dpo and just wanting the tww to hurry up so can focus on May Smile

Victoria's post reminded me - what are the day 3 bloods? I've only been referred for day 21 and the ultrasound - do I need these day 3 too?

RetroHippy · 15/04/2014 15:58

Day 3 bloods compare LH and FSH levels before ovulation. They should be below 10 and approximately the same if you have a decent egg supply and no issues with releasing eggs.

RetroHippy · 15/04/2014 15:59

Day 21 checks that ovulation has actually happened by looking at progesterone levels.

xBlueberry88x · 15/04/2014 16:02

Ive never had anything but 21 day blood tests so far all the doctors seem to do it differently.

Getting really peed off with DH at the moment theres me doing everything i can to help get pg and worrying myself silly and all he cares about is making plans with his friends.

Anddd I tell him i have a poking pain near my heart and hes doesnt even care pfffttt what an arse

Spotti · 15/04/2014 16:08

Not finished reading back yet but, Poly, did it come through the letter box or did you have to open the door to the postie? I've got a Royal Mail thingymabob ('we tried to deliver a parcel but you weren't in' type thing) and I'm wondering if it's my egg? Got some doggy things and a jumper in the post somewhere too, so it might have been them, but I'd really like it to be my pendant! I too am not going to take it off until my little bean-to-be or the one that's obviously already making itself at home is in my arms, safe and sound.

MademoiselleG · 15/04/2014 16:29

I am loving the idea of an egg pendant - was that a 1st thread thing?

victoria, you poor thing, how awful an experience this must have been!!

Blueberry...men...right?? Although last night I talked to DH for a while after the wonderful surprise pregnancy news and I was surprised to find out that he was more concerned than I thought he might be! Men just express their emotions in such a different way...They also constantly try to 'fix' us, whereas we mostly just want to whinge. Or maybe that's just me.

Right. Now where is that caramel cream egg I bought earlier...

Big wave to everyone on this bus

Ladies what happens if ovulation isn't detected on day 21 tests? Do you have to do them again to see if it's a problem or would you get help after the first test?

PolytheneGirl · 15/04/2014 16:37

Spotti it was just in the normal post. I may pop a pic up in a bit. I keep looking at it and having a little giggle to myself!

Victoria how awful, firstly I know how embarrassing it is but for no one to help you!! Shock

Blueberry my DH was the same. More interested in playing football. They have no idea the efforts we go to. I know mine just had the mindset of "it will just happen"

MademoiselleG · 15/04/2014 16:45

Eeek solid smiley, hurray!

Linda yes I had my day 21 tests 3 times to compare months I also on one month had another blood test a couple of days later to see if they had missed it. Im awaiting the next doctors appointment grrr a month a way to find out whats next and if they found any ovulation. If not I believe they may try Clomid.

Mademoiselle I know DH does care but he just doesnt seem to get how hard getting pg can be. I said I wanted to loose some wait and he said thats just stupid what difference will that make and even after explaining he thinks its stupid. He thinks the tablets im taking are stupid and that I want to try reflexology etc.

Poly dont you just want to kick them.

I am genuinely worried that if im not pg this month everything ive been feeling the last couple of weeks means I have some kind of illness.

Today I have various prodding like pains in my belly and randomly right where my heart is.

Im also feeling light headed and fuzzy.

To add this to all the cramps ive had etc it just seems weird.

Treaclepie19 · 15/04/2014 16:54

Oh blueberry, I think men just don't understand it.
I am feeling so tired today, completely out of it.
Also realised I was gonna test at 10 dpo- tomorrow but I have no frer's, only digital or first response normal >.

Treaclepie19 · 15/04/2014 16:55

Also, poly I want to see your dragon egg! Haha. I wish I'd bought one. Think I'll get that one I saw on etsy.

Treaclepie19 · 15/04/2014 16:58

purple or gold?

Treaclepie19 · 15/04/2014 16:59

Oh dear. I meant black sorry

RetroHippy · 15/04/2014 17:17

My DH swings from one extreme to the other.

Last night, post DTD, I commented on my preference for the position and DH surprised me by saying it was apparently good for baby making. Which means he's concerned enough to both research and put it into practice.

He's not concerned enough to give up his grab bags of Doritos and excessive beer habit though Hmm

MademoiselleG · 15/04/2014 17:17

Both scrumptious. Very Khaleesi.

Thank you Blueberry. I've got my first test on the 28th so was just curious about what happened next

PolytheneGirl · 15/04/2014 17:25

Ooooh Treacle I like team both, they're very pretty! I'd prob go for the purple because I'm a purple kind of person! But the black would go with lots of things too! Confused now considering starting a collection

PolytheneGirl · 15/04/2014 17:27

They are a bit GOT aren't they Madem!

MademoiselleG · 15/04/2014 17:31

Indeed they are, Poly. Let's see yours!

OP posts:
Treaclepie19 · 15/04/2014 17:32

Haha Poly, start a collection! :)
Definitely GOT :)

I have just stormed off as DH said he doesn't want dinner yet... emotions!!!
Doesn't help that I'm stuck in tonight as my friends can't be arsed to do anything.

PolytheneGirl · 15/04/2014 17:36
