This is going to sound really weird, but the nausea wasn't in my stomach, I felt sick in my head. Kind of like the nausea you get when you're dizzy. I have no idea what morning sickness is like but I'd assume it's in the stomach? Where is yours victoria?

fancyacupoftea · 20/04/2014 11:55

Oh, and I have heard that aversion to chocolate is a proper SYMPTOM victoria!

RetroHippy · 20/04/2014 11:56

I do keep smelling things pretty strongly, but I've decided that's most likely due to not being able to smell a thing for nearly two months. When a nostril clears enough to smell anything it's dead exciting.

Isn't nostril a horrible word?

victoria401 · 20/04/2014 12:04

I was sat in a restaurant last night and I'm sure I could smell fag smoke, we were no where near the door! Even had a mocktail with dinner instead of my usual wine, just in case. Coffee has tasted rank for days. Not sure where my nausea is fancy, didn't realise there was more than one type ;-)

fancyacupoftea · 20/04/2014 12:04

Yeah it's pretty bad. Up there with lung and liver.

Poas to rule it out. BFN. On with my day!

victoria401 · 20/04/2014 12:06

Lol at nostril

Oh and my boobs are not sore either despite prodding and my areola are perfectly normal. Sigh. But occasionally there has been like a burning sensation in the right one only!

victoria401 · 20/04/2014 12:07

Maybe I will pee on an ov stick instead?!

fancyacupoftea · 20/04/2014 12:37

Happy Pee-ster! Therefore you need to pee on SOMETHING victoria

RetroHippy · 20/04/2014 12:40

Haha, happy Pee-ster to all of you! I do have to pee...

wonders if there's an old IC OPK knocking around in the bathroom cupboard

Treaclepie19 · 20/04/2014 13:02

Haha, loving the symptom chat.

They finally got back to me. She's not concerned, she said watch it and see how it goes as it's too early to see anything yet.
Still wants me to go to the centre anyway so I'm of there at 2.20. Hope it won't take too long :/

RetroHippy · 20/04/2014 13:03

Well if she's not worried at least that's something? Hope you're in and out quickly this afternoon.

StuntNun · 20/04/2014 13:03

Nausea was the first symptom with all four of my pregnancies. With DS2 it started six days after conception.Shock

Treaclepie19 · 20/04/2014 13:12

Yeah definitely retro :)

victoria401 · 20/04/2014 13:14

Hmm I have af type cramps now....

RetroHippy · 20/04/2014 13:31

When is AF due victoria? too lazy to scroll back through

I'm peeing like a... Erm... Thing that pees often today. Though that's probably down to my drinking loads of water. there's always an explanation.

victoria401 · 20/04/2014 13:35

Wednesday retro

RetroHippy · 20/04/2014 13:38

You can so test now victoria!

always the voice of reason

victoria401 · 20/04/2014 13:57

I don't want to 'waste' my test. I need to be strong and wait til I'm late. Its not long now...

victoria401 · 20/04/2014 14:03

I usually get pre-af spotting so on crotch for that what with these current cramps. Please stay away I don't know how many more months I can cope with this!

gennibugs · 20/04/2014 14:04

Symptom alert:

Mum just popped round and commented on the rather considerable size of my chest. They seem to be like two air bags ever steadily inflating more and more at the moment.

Of course it's nothing to do with the number of hot cross buns I've consumed and the fact that any weight gain goes straight on my chest!

KittyVonCatsington · 20/04/2014 14:18

Now, thats a SYMPTOM I'd love genni!! An A cup here, so looking forward to pregnancy boobs!

Just spent the morning at the emergency vets, poor cat was limping on back leg when I got up. Wouldn't let me touch it and was shivering. Got eventually seen at the vets (very busy for an Easter Sunday!) she was walking on it again! 200 pounds down worth it for my little fur baby

fancyacupoftea · 20/04/2014 14:46

Glad you pussy is okay Kitty!

I just get the distinct impression that not many of us will be going over to the May bus, think this might be a very lucky week! And lots of you will be going the elusive AN threads...

Not me though. My uterus feels as empty as my local Tesco's easter egg shelves (65% of which was entirely bought by me for me).

KittyVonCatsington · 20/04/2014 15:04

I sincerely hope you are wrong fancy Grin. I've been on one of the elusive AN threads for a very very short while at the tail end of a month and felt like I was gate crashing. Next time, I hope to be nearer the beginning of an EDD month (although I know these things can't be planned!)

You lot are my Mumsnet family and couldn't bear to be parted Easter Grin

gennibugs · 20/04/2014 15:31

Glad the fur baby is ok Kitty.

I would love it if we were all on an ante natal thread together - that would be so awesome. It's so nice on here getting to know everyone and recognising names etc.

I'm pretty certain due to lack of DtD I'll be on the May bus though but I hope it's a lucky week for a lot of us.

victoria401 · 20/04/2014 15:46

genni we only dtd 3 times this month but very well timed so I'm not really optimistic either. Still allowed to symptom spot tho yeah? It only takes once!
