Morning all. Hope everyone is ok. Good luck with the docs treacle

I've woken up with mixed emotions. Had a dream that I poas and it was bfp and me and DH were chuffed and were taking pics of it and getting it a keepsake box. The last few days I've been getting so many SYMPTOMS I've not had pre-af before so I actually bought my first ever FRER yesterday. Now I can't bring myself to 'waste it' coz I'm probably not. I can't face a bfn, rather face af in a few days. After so long you just expect it, anything different would be a bonus of course but I'm not a lucky person. I've never got anything easily, its always a struggle.

Treaclepie19 · 20/04/2014 09:23

You will have to be pregnant then Tilly!

Ok I rang them again. 14 hours after my first call.
They said the call I had at 5 am (10 hours after phoning) was just a comfort call. I should hear more soon. ARGH!!!!! They are useless!

KittyVonCatsington · 20/04/2014 09:24

That, and Clearblue's grammar is appalling!!?

How many dpo are you victoria? Even FRERs didn't pck up my BFP until 11dpo and due to my short luteal phases, AF was actually due on that day too. Personally, I'd wait till the day AF was due

Treaclepie19 · 20/04/2014 09:24

Oh kitty, I had the same from them but it wasn't true for me. I had 10 or 11 flashing then solid.

Treaclepie19 · 20/04/2014 09:25

And victoria, same as kitty said. I was 11 dpo for my bfp and that was the day af was due!

BearsInMotion · 20/04/2014 09:35

BFN here :(

gennibugs · 20/04/2014 09:44

Oh no Bears how many dpo are you.

Victoria fingers crossed this is your month. I know what you mean when you say nothing comes easy -I often feel like that about things whereas others seem to sail through life.

Right if anyone sees me on here in the next few hours feel free to slap me. I'm supposed to be working from home and all I've done is come on here, do all kinds of predictors and symptom checking on countdown to pregnancy and google luteal phases. I MUST do some work! Angry

RetroHippy · 20/04/2014 09:46

I'm sorry, 5am comfort call?! There's an oxymoron if ever I heard one.

Hope you hear something soon. How is the pain now treacle?

Bears, when is AF due? Remember, you're still in till she shows.

victoria401 · 20/04/2014 09:48

I'm 11 dpo today but I have a 14 day luteal phase so another 3 days til af. Been having nausea, heartburn and lower backache and was walking through the shopping mall yesterday afternoon with slitty eyes coz I was so tired! DH thinks I'm reading too much into it, he doesn't want me getting my hopes up and getting down again when af comes. Bless him. Nice to know he cares :-)

fancyacupoftea · 20/04/2014 09:54

Kitty I've used a combination of IC and clearblue bastardsticks for 3 months (although not used the flashing smiley ones) and never seen a positive. The line has changed but no positive. Regular cycles, temp changes and ewcm indicate I do ov but seen no evidence. Sort of why I'm freaking out a bit.

BearsInMotion · 20/04/2014 09:56

14dpo I think (not testing), AF due today...

Treaclepie19 · 20/04/2014 09:58

I know retro, it's pathetic.
More like twinges/uncomfortable today. Not as much sharp pain. Hopefully will be ok but still glad I'm checking it out. Then again, by the time they ring I will probably be able to go to my normal doctors haha.

RetroHippy · 20/04/2014 10:07

Haha . Appointments at my usual gp's are like rocking horse shit. I've give up on the nhs probably why I was ill for so long. And when I get pg, the only female GP only has appointments on a Tuesday from 3:30-5:30. When I have staff meetings.

Cannot wait to move and change GP!

DH went to a BBQ at a friends last night. I offered to pick him up then got a text at 10ish saying he'd stay over as it was easier with the car. Asked him not to get too drunk as I didn't want him hungover today.

Still no sign of him and from yesterday night I have been getting more and more grumpy. He spent most of yesterday on the sofa 'poorly' then goes out Hmm. and left me with a shitty mess in the kitchen.

I can't even hand over the Easter roast and sit on my area all day because I'd quite like it edible.

Phoning him when I've finished this. If he's not up and on his way I will be fuming. SYMPTOM?

RetroHippy · 20/04/2014 10:08

Sit on my arse!

RetroHippy · 20/04/2014 10:09

His phone is off. Now I'm ready to kill Angry

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/04/2014 10:24

Oh treacle aren't they crap. Really glad you got some sleep though and very pleased your digi was positive. I'm sure if it's settled down that's a good sign.

lindamagoo · 20/04/2014 10:29

Oh Retro I feel for you, make him suffer when he gets home.
I'm about to spend my Easter in A&E, my chest has got so much worse, I can't take the pain anymore Hmm

spinningirl10 · 20/04/2014 10:33

Oh Retro I'd be mad as well!! Hope he comes home soon!

Linda....that sounds awful, hope they don't make you wait too longThanks

RetroHippy · 20/04/2014 10:35

Oh no linda! Have you taken anything for it previously? How rubbish. Hope you feel better soon.

He's called and is on his way back. He is doing the poop scoop in the garden as punishment. And all the washing up!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/04/2014 10:37

Retro that's not fair Thanks I hope he comes home grovelling with eggs!

Linda get well soon Thanks

fancyacupoftea · 20/04/2014 10:43

Get well soon linda xx

retro if you didn't need them so much I'd have probably chopped his balls off.

(Hmm it appears I'm grumpy - SYMPTOM?)

Treaclepie19 · 20/04/2014 10:50

Thanks :) hopefully all will be ok. Gives me hope as the hcg must be progressing.

Retro, I know that feeling. Try not to kill him haha.

Linda, hope all goes ok.

fancyacupoftea · 20/04/2014 11:24

Ok WT actual F. Went to tesco for milk and suddenly felt sick in the queue - think the overpowering bakery smell set it off. Felt sick all the way home, got back and dry heaved a lot.

I don't get random nausea and of course now I'm shouting SYMPTOM at myself even though that's the only one. And what are the chances that the first and only symptom is full on nausea?!

SYMPTOM or not SYMPTOM?

victoria401 · 20/04/2014 11:48

That's what i've been getting fancy! Popped a choc in my mouth the other day and thought omg gonna hurl! And I LOVE chocolate!

RetroHippy · 20/04/2014 11:51

Definitely SYMPTOM! Can't believe I'm actually wishing I felt sick Hmm. Absolutely no SYMPTOMS here to speak of. Everything else I've eaten/drunk this morning tastes fine. I'm no longer irritated and despite much poking my boobs don't hurt at all. Fed up.
