My cat always interrupts at important moments too.

DH insists we lock her out now before we get down to it

KittyVonCatsington · 18/04/2014 18:46

impatience and jones, sometimes it is easier to talk on a thread where you know posters and these buses are for the good times and bad. I just want to give you both a big hug and say that we are all here to listen and try and help you feel better. I will never forget the kind and gentle words that you all gave me on the Feb bus: some days I was hugging my iPad in tears at how comforting you all were.

impatience - there is no medical reason why you can't try this cycle, but it might be a while before your body stops thinking it is pregnant. That was frustrating for me, wanting to DTD ASAP to try and get back what I lost, but my body not playing ball.

Jones I'm in South East London and Lewisham Hospital has a drop-in EPU 4 mornings a week and I just turned up and they saw me that morning and scanned me. Can you try some other hospitals and see if they do the same? I appreciate it is Easter weekend but there might be one. Alternatively, I know a friend who just turned up at A and E and they scanned her to check for ectopic and to check what was going on. She took along some of her hpts. For this evening, get yourself a hot water bottle, hot chocolate and some TLC from your DH

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/04/2014 19:01

Impatience and jones, it's important you talk where ever you feel most comfortable. And any way a lot of us have been in your shoes today and we'd all like to hold your hand through this. It's completely gutting isn't it. Sometimes the road is longer then we realise at the beginning but that doesn't mean you won't get to the destination.

ItsChristmaass · 18/04/2014 19:09

Thought I'd post my stats. There's not much as I didn't pay attention this cycle.
Dtd on days 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, 20, 21, 22.
I ovd on day 14.
From about 9/10dpo had a lot of milky water like cm, still getting it now.
Had cramps from yesterday (12dpo).
Sore/tingly nipples from 11dpo.
Bfp in the evening on 12dpo and this morning 13dpo.

Victoria never give up. I was close to it recently due to what my consultant told me, but my dh kept me going. Smile

ItsChristmaass · 18/04/2014 19:10

Jones and impatience sorry your having a rough time Thanks

fancyacupoftea · 18/04/2014 19:25

Oh great, another one who got upduffed with a shagathon

fancyacupoftea · 18/04/2014 19:26

Really happy for you though Christmas!

MrsGingerbread · 18/04/2014 19:27

Thanks for everyone who needs them. impatience and jones We are all here for you.

Wow, Christmas that is a lot of dtd. I am getting worried we aren't dtd enough (we do about 3/4 times through fertile window and stop a day or so after temp peak.) Do we need to rethink that strategy? Confused

Treaclepie19 · 18/04/2014 19:57

I wouldn't worry Mrsgingerbread, we only did it every other day over ov :)
Spotting seems to have calmed down cramping is still bad though. So hoping for a positive digi tomorrow.

ItsChristmaass · 18/04/2014 20:06

It's kinda the norm for us to do it regularly Blush I hate to have timed sex, kinda takes the spontaneous fun out of it. Still getting cramps and I'm really scared Sad

Treaclepie19 · 18/04/2014 20:32

I am too christmas, apparently it's normal to have some cramps... I don't know. It's all new to me.

MademoiselleG · 18/04/2014 20:36

Treacle and Christmas - you belong to this thread AND the the JSing thread..you are like, proper shaggers, like! Well done you all. May the fertility of the almighty Penis-Dragon spread to all the POAS-realted shaggers the rest of us are :) It gives me hope though. We shall hump like there is no tomorrow even past ov days.

But seriously: are your DP always up for it? Mine has a really high sex drive but even he seems to be finding it a bit much at the moment!!

I find after the first minute or so, it's not actually that hard (no pun intended). It's just getting the energy to initiate that's the hurdle to jump. I keep the eye on the prize (baybeee!) to motivate Grin. DH gets home late Monday night. He is getting pounced whether he likes it or not. I in turn, will try not to fall asleep on the sofa...

Treaclepie19 · 18/04/2014 21:08

Haha woop I feel I've accomplished something with the dtd-athon as well as the bfp :)

DH is almost always up for it. Until we started ttc he had never said no haha.

MademoiselleG · 18/04/2014 21:21

Oh gosh, don't misunderstand what I am saying: he has actually never said no yet. It's just odd that I now initiate it most times (eyes on the prize indeed!) when he used to! Blush

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/04/2014 21:21

I love Christmas's stats, as she definitely was paying attention so jealous Envy of spontaneous shagathons! I have to book it in and then beg Sad

Treaclepie19 · 18/04/2014 21:25

Haha that's the same as us mademoiselle :)
I've just been on his case! I think there were two days when he just said no cus I wasn't well.

I suppose I looked like a monster with runny nose and a cough. I'm the same again now. Pregnancy cold? Lol.

xBlueberry88x · 18/04/2014 21:27

My dp goes through fazes of not wanting it at all so I try it on and he turns me down makee me feel like there's something wrong with me.

We dtd quite often but not enough were both always tired

Sorry im still spying lol

ItsChristmaass · 18/04/2014 21:30

Haha mrsextra, I was keeping a eye on cm and boobs, as that's my main indicator. Grin
Treacle kinda glad to hear I'm not alone with the cramping. I'm going to do a cb digi I think in a few days time just to see it in writing.

chillychicken · 18/04/2014 21:35

Treacle & Christmas...congratulations! Just thought I'd say I've had cramps everyday, some quite severe to be honest and I'm 6+1 today & I know quite a few others in the December ante-natal thread have had the same Smile

MademoiselleG · 18/04/2014 21:39

I know my experience is just that: one experience and I am about to sound really irritating but I didn't know for 7 weeks that I was pg with DD as we were not trying (told you I'd be irritating. serves me right now!) and I thought I'd actually had my period: quite a lot of brownish stuff (tmi - sorry!). But turns out I was 100% pg and she is now over 2 yrs old, so don't worry about the spotting.
Also had terrible cramps - remember vividly being extremely sick (as in: almost-like-Norovirus-sick!) over the Royal Wedding week-end as I was back home at my mother's place and I spent most of the w/e ill in bed.

So it's all perfectly normal, I'd say!

Retro, have you peed on a popsicle stick yet?

Oh and Blueberry: once is enough for some so don't beat yourself up.

It must be very, very hard to get turned down by OH though blueberry and MrsE... But then remember that us ladies very often do it to them and it rarely means that there is something wrong with them. We just don't feel like it! Commiserations and a warm hug Biscuit

Treaclepie19 · 18/04/2014 21:51

Thanks so much chilly and mademoiselle. Does make me feel better. My stomach pains are bad at the moment but I am thinking part of its wind... I often have bad is which causes these pains.
Hard to remember that when trying to protect my little penis dragon!

Treaclepie19 · 18/04/2014 21:57
