So I couldn't find a May thread, so I thought I'd start one for all of us who have dropped off the April thread.

Aunty arrived this morning so I 've just started cycle 4. TTC #2. Just had a long cycle so if this is the same length my most fertile time will be over Easter weekend.

So I might go all pagan and invoke some Spring fertility goddess. Or something. Or piss on some sticks.

I dont think so ive been doing opks since friday so 9 dpo and it looks like its getting darker. Af buggered off week a few days before that.

No more spotting today but still massive migraine and works stressing me so badly

tooth are you using the blank/solid smiley or flashy/solid smiley? i had 2 blanks then solid on cd10 ( with ov like pains) then using a diff stick 2 blanks then flashy for past 8 days.... although ive had a few stabby pains for oast few days. (normally ov cd16-18) feeling sick on and off and occasionally sensitive nipples.

Kurama I'm just using the ones where you compare the 2 lines. Had a strong positive on cd7... no symptoms, then a negative cd8. Now on cd13 (pretty standard 28 day cycle) I have lots of symptoms and a definite negative opk.

What cd are you on?

Fancy that makes me feel heaps better as I've yet to get a positive opk and it's my second cycle

Back here again , have been lurking and actually also testing even though I thought we wouldn't try this month but bloody hell got a smily face on the opk today and having a bit of chance of heart . DH is like what u said you'd have a break to feel better . I foolishly looked at our antinatal dragon baby thread and it got me all hopeful again and am having a hard time resisting the opportunity now that it's here . I thought I missed it and that it was early last thu when I had a twinge on the left side . Today cd 13 so similar to my usual ov dates . I'm finishing my second antibiotic and only 3 tablets left so I think I'd be ok to do this . Still nauseous on and off but much baby with that . Coughing still though so hope the antibiotic is helping . Aaargh can't decide but we'll leave it tonight . Only got a positive tonight in the morning still an empty circle

im now on cd 18. and nothing.... I wonder if it did happen on cd 10. god knows if we did enought as only dtd cd 8 the night of cd10 and cd11 and 13... tried dtd tonight just in case but dh was to tired to finish

I've no idea if I ovulated this month. had all the right twinges and pains yesterday. AF should be due 14th so I'm going to class myself as on the tww as of today.

Morning. AF is not due until next Wednesday but i have had period type cramping the last few days and this morning on wiping i had a little bit of brown stuff. Praying that it's not come early. I have a 25 day cycle and would have had a bit of spotting a few days before period started but never this early.

toots at least im not the only one who wakes up at stupid o clock! but I did manage to get back to sleep and would have still beem if my boss hadnt called me! 7.45 is way over getting up time apparently..... and he laughed at me. I hate him right now.

toots I was up at 5am this morning.....the cooker timer buzzer woke me up! I was like WTF to my DH and he announced he'd put a baked potato in last night and set the timer so it would be cooked for him to take to work for lunch....he didn't realise the timer would make a noise.....d'uh!! Woohoo for solid smiley!

Morning all - DH has gone off too work feeling very smug, thinking he was the one who successfully instigated a quickie this morning (sorry if TMI!).

Little does he know that I planned it, after he came home too knackered last night to respond to any advances! I think we might have missed the boat this month otherwise. Getting the timing right is trickier than I thought it was going to be, especially as I am trying not to make a big deal of it this early on.

Kurama, I'd probably leave it for this month and start dtd every other day to catch it. Otherwise it could end up being an expensive month!! And who knows - you could have ov'd already!

My stats (I think I posted them earlier....somewhere!)
41, TTC#2 (first with DH tho), Cycle 3, BFP 8th May (ish...cycle not very regular!)

Really couldn't be arsed with DTD last night but OH was really sweet in a way only people who are TTC would understand and insisted that we do it anyway, even though we were both tired and really full (sisters bday yesterday and we all stuffed ourselves with pizza and cake - not so good for DTD afterwards lol) because "we'll not get pregnant if we don't have sex". Yeah, I know, but mother bloody mother nature is messing with my head and makes me not want to DTD at the 'right' times! (stupid natures contraception!). Pretty sure I OV'd/will OV in the next few days as I've had stabby pains could have been pizza and weird feelings 'downstairs'. Lucas seems to have gone into hiding though...hoping he comes back to help those little swimmers reach my dragon egg!

english - it's good to know that your literal phase doesn't change much but as it's my first month using OPKs, I've never really known when I OV, I've sort of just 'assumed' it was somewhere in the middle of my cycle...the last 4 cycles have been 35 days so I'm assuming this one will be the same or 252 days/40weeks . If my IC OPKs are right, I'm just a bit surprised at how early I'm OVing (the middle of a 35 days cycle would be around cd17, so cd12 is quite early), if it's right though then it's no surprise that I'm not upduffed yet if we've been missing the crucial time by almost a week!

If I don't get my BFP this month then i think I might start temping even though I know it will stress me out, but I'd like to know what's going on there. Will have tonnes of questions for you if do go down that route!

Morning all! Keeping my Fx crossed linda, there is still time to get darker! Maybe leave it 2 more days and then test again? should definitely be darker then!
