So I couldn't find a May thread, so I thought I'd start one for all of us who have dropped off the April thread.

Aunty arrived this morning so I 've just started cycle 4. TTC #2. Just had a long cycle so if this is the same length my most fertile time will be over Easter weekend.

So I might go all pagan and invoke some Spring fertility goddess. Or something. Or piss on some sticks.

?? Good luck, Spring Goddesses.

Hi! I might skip this month . The antibiotic they gave me incase I was pregnant for the chest infection didn't work ( which i knew was going to happen )and have now booked a doctor for tomorrow to get the other one I originally requested . My addrenal problem's been so much worse fighting the infection and not getting better that I think I'll have to get look after myself for a while before putting myself through more stress. . Only yesterday and today been a bit less nauseous but still dizzy etc and on a higher dose for a few weeks now . I really just want to feel a bit more normal . I'll hang around on thread though until next bus if u guys don't mind ...

kurama · 25/04/2014 14:58

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 15:12

Aw Nordic I hope you feel better soon huni Thanks And course you can hang around, we wouldn't have it any other way Smile

Just back from getting my bloods done, will be next Thursday before I get the results but obviously I'll have my BFP by then anyway Smile

Nordicmom · 25/04/2014 15:34

Thanks Linda . I hope u and MrsEx thyroids will be ok and your lung thing will get better too . I've had my thyroid tested it was normal but I think at some point will ask for tests for everything again inc another one that's to do with my adrenal issue but I've been ok with when initially diagnosed but now I think since my illnes seems to have gotten worse I might need a med for too . Need a new specialist basically not so happy with my old one .-

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 15:43

It can't hurt to go to another specialist Nordic, especially if they will help more. Hope all works out for you. My lung feels better it's just the sore muscles around my chest that are bothering me now but defo on the mend Smile

Nordicmom · 25/04/2014 16:03

I have trouble with my intercostal muscles too when ever I have a cough ever since I sprained them a year ago when I had another bad chest infection . I thought I broke ribs the pain was so bad ...

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 16:32

It's awful isn't it? Who knew having a chest infection could lead to so much pain Hmm

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/04/2014 17:34

Linda I'm on tranexamic acid and have been for last 10 years. Mephanamic didn't work got me. It revolutionised my life. I can go out the house on day 1. Grin They give it on emergency medicine now as it's so brilliant at stopping the blood flow.

rambini · 25/04/2014 17:41

Thanks chandler and english thats really helpful. Will keep peeing peeing £2 down the drain for at least another week and a half until about day 24 when I am likely to ov! But although expensive, I really want a better idea of what the hell my body is doing and when bcoz we are not regular rabbits when it comes to dtd, and find that we run out of steam before ov has definately happened!
Feel better soon nordic take care of yourself Smile

ChandlersFarang · 25/04/2014 17:43

Mel, Spinning & English...glad to hear you're all still at it in various ways! Good stuff.I agree that it's got to be good for you. I do know that when I used to hit the gym hard when I was still on the pill, my (fake!) AF was practically non-existent, so exercise def does have some impact for me. I think the secret I need to remember is the age-old truth: burn what you eat. Or, lay off the pies if you aren't doing enough exercise to compensate!! I read that pushing yourself into really high heart rate territory releases a chemical that interferes with ovulation (can't remember where, but somewhere reputable) so will just try to stay in the 'fat burn' heart rate zone, like easy jogging, rather than doing the sprint/tabata stuff I used to do. I will defo keep it up as you're right, I want to be exercising when preggo!!

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 17:49

MrsE I've not heard of that one but can honestly say my last af was the easiest I've had in a long long time and like you I can leave the house on cd 1 and 2 now, don't remember the last time I was able to do that Smile

Sparrowlegs248 · 25/04/2014 18:34

Evening all, i am 8 pages behind. Had a couple of mini meltdowns, one of which was in boots, so been trying to be less obsessive.

Nothing to report here - cd16 of my 26 day cycle. Pos cbdigi on cd11. So in for the wait.

I have the beginnings of a cold so am tired with a sore throat as well as being rather pessimisticgoing to attempt a mammoth read back after dinner...

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/04/2014 20:10

I think I might do a rain dance for Aunt Flo! Still not turned up properly! Not enjoying limbo, am enjoying wine and cake in a big
Lampshade dress so I can hide the fatness. Why do I bloat up to 6 month pg state before my flaming period! The blood and the pain and the non pregnant state I can cope with, limbo is torture!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/04/2014 20:12

Linda mephanamic reduces the clots, tranexamic stops the flow altogether if need be. Does t reduce clots but does mean I. Can sit on a customers white sofa without having a nervous breakdown!

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 21:03

Ah I see MrsE, that's probably why I'm on that one then as it was mostly the clots that caused my problems. If every af is like the last one I'll be a happy bunny Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/04/2014 21:17

I used to stand up and if came out so fast it would skate past any protection in place. Have to say a mooncup has helped. I don't get the dragging feeling I do with tampons. Oooo I'd love 9 months of period holiday. Unfortunately post partem I bleed like a tap. Up to 16 wks Sad

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 21:22

I was like that before having the boys, not quite so bad now but enough to not want to leave the house just incase. And I agree, would love a wee 9 month break from it all, been having constant dreams about a little girl called Jessica! Premonition maybe? lol

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/04/2014 21:32

If ds (child4) had been a girl he'd have been a Jessica. But dhs best man had a Jessica instead. So we couldn't do that now. I love Lara Elizabeth. I've never actually written that down, but it's been bumbling around my head for 7 years a while! It's lovely to be girly. I'm a girly girl and the most unlikely mother of sons. Mind you it's black and white with them, no dramas! Smile There's is no doubt though as much as a boy would be loved to death we would really struggle for a name! He'd be the 6th son, between dh and I. So we have 5 sons with 11 names. How on earth would we agree on name 12&13Confused

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 21:37

Lol, yeah it would be a struggle for you picking boys names Smile I love Jessica but wouldn't call my baby it, only because both our boys are J's so would like something different. I like Lara aswell and Kayla Rose but oh doesn't Hmm He's got a whole list of boys names but no girls names on it yet.

kurama · 25/04/2014 21:46

been feeling sick for past 2 nights Sad but trying not to symptom spot as even if i did ov on cd 10 im only 3dpo!

toots123 · 25/04/2014 21:54

Evening all! Loving the name chat mrse! Dh asked if we could put my uncles names in the middle if we had a boy (my uncle is ill with untreatable cancer) and I said I would want my dads name in middle so if we had a boy im pushing for 2 middle names :)

My favourite names are currently Daniel for a boy and Eva for a girl :)

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 21:58

Oh toots my pal has just had a little girl called Eva, such a cute name Smile I like Caleb for a boy but my cousin called his baby that. My oh named both our boys so I want a shot next, lol

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/04/2014 22:24

Ladies I'm going to need all the help I can with naming if we have a boy? .....dhs ideas are .......horrendous!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 26/04/2014 00:04

MrsE... (I'm probably completely outing myself here) but I'm a lara Elizabeth!! How weird! Should def call a little girl that Wink
I'm loving zac and Jude for boys and Thea and Aerin for girls at the mo.

kurama · 26/04/2014 00:07

my dh has picked kai for if we have a boy. I prefer. kaiden... for girls id have skylar/mia/kiari.... and we would have grandparents names as middle ones Grin
