So I couldn't find a May thread, so I thought I'd start one for all of us who have dropped off the April thread.

Aunty arrived this morning so I 've just started cycle 4. TTC #2. Just had a long cycle so if this is the same length my most fertile time will be over Easter weekend.

So I might go all pagan and invoke some Spring fertility goddess. Or something. Or piss on some sticks.

?? Good luck, Spring Goddesses.

I know two babies called Skylar kurama - where does it come from?

I like both Lara and Elizabeth. I also like Victoria but it really doesn't go with our surname. Nor does Rose which I love.

I like traditional names for boys. Edward is a fave but have the surname issue again....

I like Poppy, Lucy, Molly and Freya for girls. I could go on all day!

DS has a Zack. I like that too.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 26/04/2014 06:43

I love poppy and Freya too, but DH doesn't as he knows one who he doesn't like!
I have a massive list of girls names saved on my phone, I find boys a bit harder!!

lindamagoo · 26/04/2014 06:58

My niece is called Freya, love that name. My boys are Jayden-Lee and Jackson so have to think of something that doesn't start with a J this time.

kurama · 26/04/2014 07:24

notta I found it in a series I love by Christine feehan.
does anyone know if using a diff holder for the cb digi can mess up results? yesterday I had flashy smiley and the lines were almost the same and half asleep I picked up diff holder this morn and it came up as blank circle... I dont get it Dragon Angry

bellaboo88 · 26/04/2014 07:50

I'm still having ic opk troubles. Faint line Thursday, nothing yesterday.

This is my 2nd month of using them, will do 3today. I just need to know I'm ovulating!! Xx

xBlueberry88x · 26/04/2014 07:55

Argh I hate grapefruit juice better be worth it!

Morning ladies I'll catch up properly when im on computer

Sparrowlegs248 · 26/04/2014 08:07

Ah maybe they had rrad it too then kurama

I'm afraid that i think it does matter which holder you use - don't they 'remember' info in order to detect a surge?

kurama · 26/04/2014 08:10

I think I used the one that got the false possitive a few days ago....

toots123 · 26/04/2014 08:10

I love poppy and freya too!
my second favourite girls name is Lily which dh hated until I said lily X (our surname) and he said that was such a beautiful name!
We shall see, just need a baby please.
Was saying to dh we are so ready now and he agreed, nice home, good jobs and a bit of cash in the bank.
Hoping to ov in the next few days but we have dtd regularly anyway :)

toots123 · 26/04/2014 08:12

Bella if you can, try the cb digi opks. They are so good and theres no guessing with them. We were doing it at the wrong time with ic opks!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 26/04/2014 08:15

Kurama... I'm confused just reading your posts! Lol! I'd give up and just keep DTD to cover all bases. The readers hold information from the previous day to give an accurate reading.

Bella... The only way to know you are ovulating for sure is to temp. Some people get on really well with ic OPKs, others don't. Try not to worry. Or let it stress you out, we all know how stress is counter productive.

Liking the name talk :). I have always liked Jake/Jacob and Lucas/Luke for a boy BUT my dnephew is a Luke and I couldn't have a little one with the same/very similar name...especially since dsis only lives down the road! Could get confusing! And Jacob was tainted with the whole Twilight thing (even though I liked that name first, and would never call my baby after someone in a film just because they had an amazing 8-pack even though it is an impressive 8-pack!). Jake is was still nice but the kids program Baby Jake has ruined it for me. Could not stand someone cooing over my little one singing that annoying 'ooogle oogy whatsitstupidsong' that they have as their theme tune. Grr. So we're back to trying to find another name we both like. OH wants to have his dad's name as a middle name if we have a boy, but I'm not too keen on Martin to begin with, but with his surname (and mine in a few years when we get married), it would sound really stupid because our little boy would have 3 'first name' names, if that makes sense? OH thinks it sounds cute and flows well, but I don't like it. Especially since I've kind of gone off the above suggested names...

As for girls, OH refuses to agree with me on any names I suggest but I quite like Harriet. Maybe have Faith as a middle name. Can't decide on any others that I really like so if we ended up with a girl, fx OH agrees otherwise we might have "baby" for a while until we find something more suitable!

Men, hey? They certainly make life difficult.

Starbright24 · 26/04/2014 09:18

Wow...I've not gone down the route of even thinking about names yet. Just want to get preggo first. I like all the names though and may even steal one Dragon

Linda you're going to have your blood results back way before me. I have to wait till the 8th May!!

rambini · 26/04/2014 10:13

I have had lists of baby names I like for years which I update as and when I change my mind on them by change my mind that usually means teach a horrible child who has that name and consequently puts me off it Flavour of the moment are Dillon and Oliver for boys, and Imogen and Amelia for girls. Boys middle name is a given, Thomas, as it is a family name shared now by the last 6 generation of boys at least (not all as a first name though, that would get confusing!) Girls middle name we are not too sure, possible dh mums name?

lindamagoo · 26/04/2014 10:29

Star I was thinking that yesterday, you have quite a while to wait for your results. Maybe phone up for them earlier?

spinningirl10 · 26/04/2014 10:36

Morning ladies Grin

Ooh love the name talk, some lovely ones there.

The 2ww is going so slowly! We're out to dinner tonight with a few of dp's friends. One of the wives is pregnant and due in July, 2 weeks after I'd have been due if I hadn't miscarried.....not sure how I'll feel seeing her. I'll definitely be having a few drinksGrin

Starbright24 · 26/04/2014 11:11

Anyone here had evap lines on tests - I have before and what I see is a very thin dark line. Do you agree or have you seen differently.
This morning I woke a 7 ish and poas waited for all of a minute before shoving it in its bag and going back to bed. Test time says to wait 10 mins but I wasn't realky expecting to see anything.
Couple of hours later, went back and I see a very faint (but not imaginary, I'm good at those) wide like the test line, possibly maybe faintish pinkish, sort of line.
As you can see, I am definitely, possibly, maybe certain I saw something. Evap line?
Hmm...will try again tomorrow. Oh's bday [lol]
Oh..and they are cheap internet tests and I'm 10 dpo , I think.

Starbright24 · 26/04/2014 11:12

Hmm.. Grin not [lol] lol

RAWR!! Dragon

spinningirl10 · 26/04/2014 11:18

Ooh star that's exciting!! I've never had an evap line before on any test and I think I've used them allGrin

Starbright24 · 26/04/2014 11:24

Hope you're ok this evening spinning. It must be tough. Plenty of Wine

lindamagoo · 26/04/2014 11:27

Star I've had evaps on the ic tests, defo a dull, non coloured, thin line so yours sounds promising Smile

Starbright24 · 26/04/2014 12:07

Oh and..temp been up since yesterday. 36.84 instead of36.4 ish. Might go and purchase a frer.

Babblehag · 26/04/2014 12:08

MrsE my favourite boys names were Cauley Ellis Leighton Dainton Pritchard Leon, I used 2 of those but both ended up being really popular afterwards.

Viperama · 26/04/2014 12:16

Just popping in to say Dragon RAAAAAWR before we loose our mascot.

Come on dragon give me an early ov baby this month. Ov'ing cd7-9 means I basically have a 3 ww this month, ugh

spinningirl10 · 26/04/2014 12:23

Thanks Star and yes definitely go and buy more tests now!!!Grin
