So I couldn't find a May thread, so I thought I'd start one for all of us who have dropped off the April thread.

Aunty arrived this morning so I 've just started cycle 4. TTC #2. Just had a long cycle so if this is the same length my most fertile time will be over Easter weekend.

So I might go all pagan and invoke some Spring fertility goddess. Or something. Or piss on some sticks.

?? Good luck, Spring Goddesses.

Blueberry - hello! the Isle of Wight defo counts! Love it there Smile

Here's a question that's been foxing me - how much exercise do you all do over ovulation/during/after/during 2ww? I've always been a bit of a gym nob in terms of really full-on cardio but read loads about how that can impact on ovulation, and given I have to wait long enough already for those eggs I slowed that down. But consequently am pie-ing up quite rapidly just doing yoga etc! Anyone wanna share thoughts on this?

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 13:01

Haha flirty, mustn't forget the bleach Grin

Blue no more blood since yesterday, very crampy still though so for now I'm going with pregnant, just cause I can til AF comes Smile I have 13 tats, including a dragon on my side, I totally forgot about til now, lol.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/04/2014 13:03

Fellow thyroid sufferers my levels have now gone a bit too far the other way! Tsh 0.01 t4 30. Ferritin still too low at 15, which is only an improvement from 11. Needs to be about 120 for me to feel super duper! Boring boring boring blood!

xBlueberry88x · 25/04/2014 13:06

Excuse the fat belly lol here my dragon

xBlueberry88x · 25/04/2014 13:08

Btw the dragon isnt finished yet...

Chandlers Ive often wondered the same...Ive tried a lot to loose weight which never seems to work no matter how much I exercise but ive pretty much given up now.

Linda FX please be a BFP

spinningirl10 · 25/04/2014 13:08

Chandler....I exercise the same during the whole month. Do something everyday either jillian michaels dvd, gym, cycle or run. But I now on my 9/10th cycle and have had a mc during that time so maybe I should ease off. Just don't want to put things on hold waiting for my bfp!

spinningirl10 · 25/04/2014 13:11

Blueberry, the jewellery is really pretty on that website, got to be worth a tryGrin

I have one tattoo on my lower back of some flowers and vine. Has it done about 14 years ago and would quite like something else now.....hmm maybe a dragonGrin

spinningirl10 · 25/04/2014 13:14

We've been asked to go ski-ing with friends in February next year! Dp is really keen, he's skied before but I haven't and I'm guessing I can't ski if pregnant? Have any of you been? Would there be anything for me to do if I can't ski?

MelMc73 · 25/04/2014 13:17

chandler I am a total gym-bunny.....I love going to classes...mostly Body Pump, Kettlebell and Spin classes. I do about 3 or 4 classes a week, one or two rest days (depends on DH's rota!) and then a 30 minute run on other days. I didn't know about it's impact on ovulation but surely regular exercise is a good thing? I would say that over-exercise and under-exercise are the bad things.

lindamagoo....bleach....really? Mental! And fx that your symptoms are for a BFP!

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 13:23

Here's my very rubbish (done about 20 years ago) dragon. Excuse the flab

EnglishGirlAbroad · 25/04/2014 13:25

I think the main consensus is don't do anything that is more than is normal for you. As long as your cycles are regular I think you should be ok. I still gym 4 times a week, will tame it when I get my bfp. But even then you can still maintain what you're used too, regular exercise is said to help with birth.

That's a pretty epic tattoo blueberry, very appropriate!! Dragon

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 13:26

MrsE is your thyroid making you feel crap just now? It might make af go a bit wonky. Have you to change your meds?

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/04/2014 13:37

They've put the meds up a bit too much I think. Ive asked for referral so many times and been refused. It drives me nuts. I'm just very very tired but think that's more the iron levels.

spinningirl10 · 25/04/2014 13:53

Love that tattoo Linda.

Starbright, wow just watched that you tube bleach/pee test, amazing!!
I shall be trying that in a few days :)

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 13:55

They had my meds up too high a while back and I felt like death. I know you are on a much higher dose than me though so you probably feel it worse.

spinningirl10 · 25/04/2014 13:55

Ooops, sorry it is Blueberrys dragon that I love although yours is nice as well Linda....guess Blueberrys is newer and therefore fresher.

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 13:56

Thanks spinning Smile I'm so curious about the bleach (and all the other homemade tests) that the second I get my BFP I'm gona do them all, lol

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 13:58

Mines was done by a dodgy guy who got closed down soon after I got it done. Will be getting it coloured better and some nice colours added for my birthday if I don't get my BFP this cycle.

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 14:08

MrsE would the dodgy thyroid stop is from temping properly do you think?

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 14:09

Is = us

spinningirl10 · 25/04/2014 14:13

That sounds nice Linda, I'm thinking I might get mine re-done.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/04/2014 14:13

I'm not sure. When I'm really under active which is my problem anyway I get flooding clotty prolonged periods. When too far the other way they are much lighter. I expect what they'll do as it's not too far off the mark is alternate the dose daily which I always get in a muddle with it's the iron that worries me more. As my feritin level had been extremely low for 3 years.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/04/2014 14:15

But when I enquired about iron jnjections to bypass my bowel they refused just offering blood transfusion, which seems a bit major, but maybe that's what needs to happen.

lindamagoo · 25/04/2014 14:23

My dad gets the injections. He said they are very painful but he feels great afterwards. I just started taking mefenamic acid to reduce my flow, had really bad/heavy/clotty periods but they seem to reduce the flow dramatically Smile

theduchesse · 25/04/2014 14:35

Thanks for the info English and Linda. Smile Maybe this month I'll actually be able to time things right Grin

Blueberry and Linda you were clearly always destined to be a part of this thread with those tattoos.
