Wow!! That's amazing news! X

tametortie · 18/04/2014 16:14

They guarantee 6-8 so we well exceeded that. Am happy but cautious.

We have used PICSI to get the best sperm. Having so many eggs has crippled us cos it's €180 for the first 10 eggs then €60 per egg after that!!!

God bless our donor though xx

Badhairday76 · 18/04/2014 16:26

That's really, really good! Am hoping so much that your baby is amongst those 14. You have a really good chance! X

tametortie · 18/04/2014 16:36

It's the best chance we have ever had- that's all I wanted. A proper chance x

After 4 cycles, only 2 transfers and not a single blastocyst, it was time to move on x

Bearsandhoney · 18/04/2014 17:14

Wow tame, that's such a fantastic result. It sounds very positive and I'm really hopeful for you!

Euro: when you put it like that, I can understand what you mean. Personally i will still er on the side of caution due to,my previous experience but can understand your wanting a more 'normal' experience. I hope the blood supply issue resolves itself by your 28 week scan (things can change, I've seen and heard of this many times).

Hope everyone is having a nice Good Friday. I'm just back from the park and its freezing out there! I've donned my uggs (they're indoor shoes only Blush) and as the boys are still out am indulging in my guilty pleasure: come done with me. Smile

starsandmoonandback · 18/04/2014 19:20

Great newsTame. A fabulous amount of eggies and embryos. Grin I hope you are not only in with a chance, but on your way to a bfp and healthy pregnancy xx

eurochick · 18/04/2014 20:52

What excellent news tame. This could be your moment!

MotorcycleMama · 18/04/2014 23:12

Got my fingers crossed for you tame - you so deserve success. X

resipsa · 19/04/2014 08:35

Hi all.

Tame - fantastic news! God, I bet you're nervous/excited! Roll on Monday.

Val - how're you going?

How're the symptoms, Bears?
AFM, sitting in clinic, waiting for scan. Please, please don't let me be cancelled again.

Had a mental blow on Thurs when met a friend for lunch whose DS was 1 a few weeks ago. She's expecting DC2 in October. She'll have the same age gap that mine would have had but for my MMC in 2012 Sad. Made me realise how much is resting on this last cycle.

And on a different note, it is Sod's law that DD decides, for once, to sleep beyond 7am on the very Saturday when I have to get up then!

Hope you all have a good weekend.

vallinnapod · 19/04/2014 10:41

Res fingers crossed today goes/has gone well on the scan front.

I know how you feel with sibling announcements. Some good friends are expecting #2. Their son is 3 months older than DS so if I am PG we'll have the same age gap. Which I am really trying not to obsess over would be amazing.

I am mentalling away. Boobs huge and sore, but have been since starting the progesterone, felt nauseous on and off yesterday and have a stuffy nose. Realistically though implantation would only just be happening so I can't attribute it all to anything exciting Confused

starsandmoonandback · 19/04/2014 18:57

Val keeping everything crossed for you.

Res, so hoping it wasn't cancelled and you're on your way to bring pupo very soon. And them preggo Grin

Euro, hope all is well honey.

Bears when is your next scan?

Everyone else hello! Rushing at mo so haven't had a chance to scroll down, and memory terrible Shock

Happy Easter weekend to everyone. Envy

resipsa · 19/04/2014 21:00

Not cancelled! Got to 7.5mm. Hurrah for first hurdle cleared! ET on 30/4 - sooooo far away!

OP posts:
vallinnapod · 19/04/2014 21:02

Woohooo!!!

Out of interest, why is transfer so far away?

Bearsandhoney · 19/04/2014 21:21

How did the scan go Res? I'm really hoping its all systems go for you. X

Val: those progesterone fuelled symptoms are quite the head fuck aren't they. However, I'm picturing a little embie burrowing down and settling in for a nine month stay as we speak Smile.

Tame: you must be really excited. Do let us know how the fertilisation goes Smile.

Hi stars, I am impatiently waiting for my first scan on the 29th, which is a week Tuesday (ages away!). I can't remember where you're at (memory like a sieve, pregnant or not!). Can you tell me?

I am feeling a little nauseous and tired with on and off boob ache. It's the only time in my life I'm happy to feel roughSmile. Someone said (wisely) its like a permanent hangover... It's soo true. Worse at night than during the day... But am grateful for every symptom. Having said that, the symptoms definitely come and go.

Hope you are all having a lovely Easter weekend. Xxx

Bearsandhoney · 19/04/2014 21:22

Cross posted res. great news! I'm delighted to hear that. Xx

resipsa · 19/04/2014 22:38

Hi Bears/Val.

Not really sure why ET so far away. Was told that they don't want to 'rush' it and no need to be speedy so offered 28/4 which was too stressful for work-related reasons so it's 30/4 instead. Assured by Care that there is no risk of womb breakdown before then...

OP posts:
resipsa · 19/04/2014 22:41

Eek. Just worked out DD if ET on 30/4 - 15/1/14, just 5 days before DD's 4th b'day. Now that would be interesting...

OP posts:
resipsa · 19/04/2014 22:42

Meant EDD!

OP posts:
tametortie · 19/04/2014 22:44

Respisa- what meds are you on??

I have just done something divvy. I'm on estradiol 2mg 3x a day. Popped a tablet out the pack and can't remember whether I took it or put it down s

tametortie · 19/04/2014 22:45

Somewhere :(

So I've taken another- hope it does no harm.....

resipsa · 19/04/2014 22:47

Tame - same as you - 2mgs x 3 per day - often say to DH 'have I taken these already' - he never says yes or no with confidence so I just take them (again) - figure an extra 4mgs can't hurt.

How're you doing in Czech R?

OP posts:
tametortie · 19/04/2014 23:03

Res- thank goodness! I'm lay here panicking that I will make my womb lining mutate...

Lovely day today at a zoo park in Zlin- glorious sunshine and lots of fresh air. Keep having a little panic about the embies and whether they are still ok Sad

I have made a friend in the hotel- a lady from New York having treatment too. She seems amused by all my sex and the city quotes and we stayed up chatting after dinner tonight. I think if her cycle doesn't work, she may adopt me Grin I wanna live in New York!!!

We are having a bed day tomorrow- pjs and room service in the hotel room x

I'm happy you are going ahead res- what a relief!!

vallinnapod · 20/04/2014 06:53

URGH, POAS this morning Hmm 6dp 3dt. BFN. Not even a squintable is it/isn't it. Sure I had one of those with my other pregnancies by now. I know it is too soon to test and that I still have 5 days until OTD

tametortie · 20/04/2014 09:26

Val- that's the equivalent of 9dpo- waaaaay to early!!!

Don't give up yet. Xxx

vallinnapod · 20/04/2014 10:10

I know, I know... Felt really positive yesterday and now feeling blurgh Hmm
