I thought Res' ET was on Weds? Much confusion - where are you res?!

Tame be strong. I was and I'm really glad. I think it would have messed with my head too much if I'd tested early. Only 4 more days!

vallinnapod · 27/04/2014 12:47

I better stay out of this conversation Tame Wink

tametortie · 27/04/2014 14:27

Well got to tesco and they had run out of tests... Hmm only CB digitals left and I can't warrant using one of those at this stage!

I'm gonna order some internet cheapies and wait for them to come- probably Tuesday when I will be 7dp5dt. Is that a good enough compromise??!!! Grin

tametortie · 27/04/2014 14:51

Wow- 20 internet cheapies and 2 CB digitals for £13 on eBay Shock

All to be delivered on Tuesday so will test Wednesday morning- 8dp5dt.

nobeer · 27/04/2014 15:06

tame I've just found this on a US forum:
This is what happens in a 5dt:

-1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells & fetal cells
6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

nobeer · 27/04/2014 15:08

so I think Wednesday might be a bit early, but you'll know for sure on Thurs.

tametortie · 27/04/2014 15:12

I'll see how brave I am feeling......

How are you Nobeer??? Xxx

tametortie · 27/04/2014 15:12

Big day tomorrow!!! Xxxxxx

nobeer · 27/04/2014 15:48

Me? I'm nauseous, and sensitive to smells. About tomorrow I'm feeling nervous, excited... still can't believe it's true so hopefully they'll give me visual evidence it is indeed true! I'll pop back and let you know how I get on.

tametortie · 27/04/2014 15:54

Make sure you do!!!

I'm sure it will be fabulous news xxx

starsandmoonandback · 27/04/2014 16:09

Tame sounds like a good compromise! And quite restrained considering you wanted to test today! Grin

Nobeer, lots of luck tomorrow sweetie. Hope you get to enjoy a wonderful moment seeing your mini nobeer on the screen Smile

tametortie · 27/04/2014 16:55

Stars- I knew I was being very silly. And when I saw the empty shelf in tesco......it was a sign......

tametortie · 27/04/2014 19:06

And I think I felt better once I ordered them online. The fact that tests are on their way calmed me down Confused

starsandmoonandback · 27/04/2014 20:14

Tame, I totally get that!
I've just had a gorgeous roast (kind of- chicken thighs) and it was delicious. Now watching Mike Leigh film Career girls! Smile

tametortie · 27/04/2014 22:01

I have had an evening on Skype with my New York cycle buddy from Zlin. Had a lovely chat and compared notes and photos on our embryoscope pictures and looked at canyouseealine.com together to practise for Wednesday.

Whatever happened to wild boozy pound a pint Sundays????

Smile
starsandmoonandback · 27/04/2014 23:34

Ha ha! Love it Tame! My god, where can you get a pint for a pound these days??! Wink

I'd never seen canyouseealine before VAL the other day! Smile do you feel you are fully trained now? Wink

resipsa · 28/04/2014 07:05

Nobeer - let us know how the scan goes.

Tame and Val - hope you are calm and collected today (yeah, right).

ET for me is 30/4, Cups, you're right. Sorry for absence, been stupid busy at work which is why I'm there now :-(

resipsa · 28/04/2014 07:08

Oh and Beetle, I agree with the others. Stay on here and rejoice/stress all you like.

Hi Stars.

Back to work. Sigh.

BeetlingAbout · 28/04/2014 11:19

Good luck today, nobeer.

Thank you all for the support, it really means a lot. I just can't help remembering one of the egg buddies, mejust, getting really upset about the pregnancy chat on this thread before she left, and i know that for everyone it can't be easy.

Please do pop into the grads thread and say hi too, as we are all hoping and praying that you will be joining us there soon.

Tame well done on resisting. I caved at 5dp5dt and got a negative with the twins, but got bfp's at 7dp5dt both times.

BeetlingAbout · 28/04/2014 11:21

Cups, i hope AF doesn't keep you waiting. Not long to go now at all. Sorry if you have already said this, but what protocol will you be on or is this a FET?

nobeer · 28/04/2014 12:10

I remember that too beetle. So on that note this will be my last bit of pregnancy gloating. I'm 7 weeks today, saw a wee blob on the scan and heard it's heartbeat. I am soo relieved!

I'll still lurk and cheer people on, you're not getting rid of me that easily Wink

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 28/04/2014 12:28

Nobeer Grin what wonderful news, please hang around and keep us posted on how you and minibeer are getting on.

Res only 2 days to go until your PUPO!

Tame how are you doing? Hope you are keeping busy and not mentalling too much x

Beetle I'm doing a fresh cycle, short protocol. Can't wait to get started!

I personally love hearing how all the preggo egg buddies are getting on. To me it seems weird not to hear from you guys once you get those elusive BFPs! I'm superstitious about going on the grads thread so I can't keep up with you all on there.

resipsa · 28/04/2014 15:53

Oh, I remember the upset too. Found it a bit odd as reading/posting is voluntary. Please, please all preggos stay here to remind us why we're doing this (says she who has been on drugs since 6 March FFS).
