Over here...

OP posts:
nobeer · 20/04/2014 10:17

Happy Easter everyone! Hope you're all doing something nice today. I'm almost back home after a lovely week in UK.

tame I'm extremely excited for you!! Any interesting Czech Easter traditions going on there?
val put the hpt down and watch a box set to distract yourself.
res I'm so pleased this cycle is going ahead for you. I've got everything crossed for you.
bears you ok?
euro and bad I'm so pleased to hear how you're both getting on! That's just amazing!

Was feeling a bit nauseous yesterday but last night had strange crampy pains and now panicking slightly whilst pretending everything is normal in front of inlaws. There's no blood so sure I'm worrying over nothing. I'm a bit worried I shouldn't have flown this week Sad

tametortie · 20/04/2014 10:50

Nobeer- we have been to an Easter market and had Czech food. Very unhealthy!!! Doesn't seem to be many eggs here so we bought DD a playmobil set yesterday (Spanish hotel cleaner complete with dustpan and brush and washing machine Confused ) she was well chuffed!!! We are just off out in the sun for some fresh air.

Try not to menkul sweets. I'm sure all is well xxxx when is the first scan??

I feel strangely detached from everything treatment wise. Not nervous or excited at all. On OE cycles at this stage I am tearful and fretting. I feel....numb. Not a nice feeling at all. All the other women here are talking non stop about how the embryos are. I'm trying not to think about them.

I hope I have something to put back. What if we don't make blastocyst? We are presuming donor eggs will get us there because DHs sperm DNA fragmentation came back as excellent but what if there is no difference??

I feel horrid today Sad

vallinnapod · 20/04/2014 11:07

Hugs Tame, clearly something in the water (both here and in Czech Wink) Hopefully tomorrow we will both be back on the positive vibes....!

Bearsandhoney · 20/04/2014 12:31

Happy Easter to all. Did the Easter bunny visit?

Said it before and I'll say it again: ivf is the biggest of roller coaster rides.

Tame: I felt detached from my last round (had a big dose of negativity to be honest) and it worked. I think the more cycles you do (and the disappointments in the way) the less involved you are. Perhaps as a protective mechanism? I hope you feel better later, just try to keep occupied and busy. It's out of your hands but i have a feeling that your young healthy donor will come up trumps for you. Xx

Val: Its way to early to test sweet! So please don't be disheartened. You had day 3 embies put back right? It really is too early. Try again in a few days. Fingers, toes and everything else crossed for you. Xx

Nobeer: welcome home. Glad you've had a good holiday. I'm fine (well feeling rough but wouldn't dare complain... Smile)

Res: that does seem a long time to wait. What day of your cycle are you? I'm sure they must know what they are doing. Did they give a reason why they would make you wait so long?

nobeer · 20/04/2014 20:16

tame thanks lovey for the reassurance. Got scan at clinic a week on Monday. I also chased up the immunolgist for a report of the last appointment, but said I was missing 1 blood test so need to get that done. Grrr! It doesn't end! Hope you're feeling a bit more relaxed about your embies, I have every confidence in them!

Bearsandhoney · 20/04/2014 21:34

Meant to say no beer: my symptoms are coming and going, with cramping, slight nausea and sore boobs. Not sure if this is any consolation to you, but I understand these to be very normal symptoms. (I even had a 2nd blood test done as all symptoms seemed to have disappeared, the results were fine, where they should be). What I'm trying to say is: it's normal to have symptoms come and go and the cramping is normal (i am certainly experiencing it) so try not to worry. Easier said than done i know Smile.

vallinnapod · 21/04/2014 08:06

Shitting, fucking, bollocks. BFN again. Had had my BFPs at this stage with both previous pregnancies HmmHmmHmm 7dp3dt

vallinnapod · 21/04/2014 08:07

Should add, I really feel PG. Fucking progesterone.

Bearsandhoney · 21/04/2014 08:25

Really very sorry to hear that val (though I'm still if the opinion it's too early). Please don't be too disheartened. Why not leave it for a few days and then try again? When is OTD? Xxx

starsandmoonandback · 21/04/2014 08:54

Val, are you using super sensitive tests? 10dpo is 'the' earliest I would imagine getting a reliable result. You could still get your bfp, I've heard of it happening a lot! Got everything crossed for you.

Nobeer, bears is right. With my DS I had bad cramping about 7 weeks and was soo scared I went to epu for a scan and they said all was fine and it was just my uterus stretching!

Xx

vallinnapod · 21/04/2014 09:23

Yep, sensitive internet cheapies (same tests I got my previous bfps on) I do know in my heart of hearts it is too early but feeling very despondent :(

resipsa · 21/04/2014 09:25

Val - thinking of you - all are different - still v early...

OP posts:
resipsa · 21/04/2014 09:26

Tame - good luck for ET today.

OP posts:
starsandmoonandback · 21/04/2014 10:05

Val, I find those ic not to be as sensitive as they say, but regardless of that, each pregnancy the level of hcg our bodies produce vary widely, so hang onto your 'feeling pregnant' feelings hun and hopefully you'll get a bfp tomorrow or next day Grin So bloody hard I know, I did the same as you last cycle testing that early, it's a killer of no second line comes up, but you've still got hope as you know it's early....still makes for a lot of mentalling! X

starsandmoonandback · 21/04/2014 10:06

Res, tame? How you both going?

vallinnapod · 21/04/2014 10:23

Thanks ladies, sorry for the self involvement. I know everyone on her has their own mentalling issues too!

Tame everything crossed for today!

tametortie · 21/04/2014 10:38

Woah dudes!! ET is tomorrow!! There will be toddlers in that Petri dish. I'm soooooo nervous. Sad

Val- you are still too early but if you insist on pissing on sticks, piss on a super drug test. Those internet cheapies are shite.

starsandmoonandback · 21/04/2014 11:23

I agree with tame Shock first response followed by SuperDrug!!!

starsandmoonandback · 21/04/2014 11:24

Tame, exciting ET is tomo. You will have 1 or two 'toddlers' running around in a couple of years Grin

nobeer · 21/04/2014 21:58

Good luck tomorrow tame! Thinking of you xx

Bearsandhoney · 21/04/2014 22:54

Good luck tomorrow tame! Xx

vallinnapod · 22/04/2014 07:07

Cross your fingers and spread you legs Tame Wink Grin

vallinnapod · 22/04/2014 07:23

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuckity fuck. It's there. In a 'you-can-only-see-it-if-you-are-a-POAS-obsessive-direct-sunlight' kinda way but I have the smallest whisper of a second line ShockShock

tametortie · 22/04/2014 09:28

Oh val!!!! How amazing!!! Can you post a pic??? I love deciphering poas pics Grin

We are in our hotel room watching Rango trying not to menkul.....

vallinnapod · 22/04/2014 10:33

LOL - I hope mentalling over my very, very faint line will distract you! You can only really see it on the invert...and even then...

Sorry if it doesn't copy well, on my phone: www.canyouseealine.com/view_home_pregnancy_test.php?method=invert&testID=49075
