Welcome back Jones and glad to hear you are feeling a bit better Thanks

missmrsmummy · 03/03/2014 22:16

Can't answer Treacle as I don't know what normal is any more?!?

KittyVonCatsington · 03/03/2014 22:20

Glad to see you back Jones - I was hoping we'd see you again. I was so sorry to hear what happened on the Feb bus and I'm so glad you feel better. There are so many lovely ladies on this bus that can help you get through the next cycle and beyond Thanks

Have a read back on this bus and check out some of the wonderful posts that have helped me.

Treaclepie19 · 03/03/2014 22:29

Welcome Jones, so sorry I missed your post.

missmrs haha join the club. Although I wasn't sane before TTC!

barmybunting · 03/03/2014 22:57

Brilliant to see two more BFPs - congratulations lorelei and allthequeens!

This bus is getting off to a very, very positive start. I see much chat about 3 being the lucky number - March is the 3rd month of the year, so whether it is cycle 3 or not, it is a lucky bus with a number 3 in it so we are all hanging onto those threes!

missmrs I'm glad to hear things went relatively ok this morning. How are you feeling about tomorrow? How exciting that your brother will be home in Dec.

Mama I'm glad to see the gp has referred you for tests. 5 months seems like a while to wait, but you are on the right track now and your positive attitude is going to work wonders!

Jones, lovely to see you back on the bus. I hope you are feeling as ok as you can at this stage.

I am a tad hyper today, one of my closest friends had her first baby today, a little boy. She was due last week, ended up having an emergency c-section today as something didn't feel right, and when he was born, they discovered the cord wrapped multiple times around his neck with a knot in it. Thankfully, they are both all right and after spending a few days in hospital, they are expecting to be going home happy and healthy. They have been so very, very lucky and thank goodness she followed her instincts about something not feeling right so that he was born safely. In a situation like that, it reminds you how tender a life experience birth is. I spoke to her earlier, and she is as high as a kite in utter delight with her little boy. It is so lovely to hear. The lady I'm covering for on mat leave also had a little boy yesterday. March is definitely a month for babies and BFPs!

kurama · 04/03/2014 00:34

Need some hand holding as I ended up in sever pain tonight for no apparent reason and had to go to a+e. After 5 hours they now think it's the clomid and that my ovaries are enlarged due to over stimulation but I need a scan in morn. very worried as I think this is 2 days after ov. hoping it doesn't stop my chance this month. I can barely walk or twitch without nearly crying with pain Sad

Zermatt · 04/03/2014 02:41

Throws green pom poms into back of bus and jumps aboard

phew just made it.

Kurama so sorry to hear about your pain and ending up in A&E, it must have been scary and worrying, fx for you that this mornings scan goes well and that you are still in for a chance this month, take it easy.

Can I please join this bus? My stats are ttc 1, cycle 3 (am hoping this is a good sign!)

Congrats to all the BFP's so far this month, what a great start :)

This cycle I've hit ttc with renewed gusto, I've been popping prenatal vits, evening primrose oil, omega 3, knocking back a disgusting herbal tea that was made up for me by the acupuncturist I saw last week (it smells like gone off fish which I am hoping means it is extra potent and will get me that bfp - I googled every single herb that she used in it and one of them sounds like a fertility wonder drug Hmm ), I also have DH taking a multivitamin (although he is like a small child and has to be reminded to take it every single flipping day). Oh and I've just got some preseed in the post to use as well. I've cut back on sweetner and booze and upped my fruit and veg intake, my DH summed it up when he told a friend that I am the one doing the "trying" to conceive, he is just coming along for the ride (literally)! The acupuncture was good, but not sure I'll go back as its a lot more expensive than the reflexology, so may switch to that next month. Started using OPK's yesterday and due to OV tomorrow or Thursday, been dtd since sunday......good luck everyone.

nosaint · 04/03/2014 03:05

Lol Zermat Grin

Spotti · 04/03/2014 05:26

Hey Jones, hope you're ok hun.

Had to LOL at Treacle saying OBEM makes her broody and also terrified...I'm glad it's not just me! I tend to find myself cooing over the baby but cringing at every other ouchy bit and naively hoping i will be on of those women who manage to 'breathe' their baby out with very little apparent pain or intervention - I have a sneaking suspicion that I will be the one screaming the place down, having all the midwives in my room lending a hand, and it would be just my luck to end up with twins/triplets! Don't get me wrong, I would love whoever pops out at the other end, but it would be just our luck to not know until eh last second!!!

toots123 · 04/03/2014 06:47

Morning all

feeling a bit brighter today as af arrived this morning. I obviously wanted a bfp but at least I know where I am

ive now had cycles of 35,33 and 52 so ive no idea what bfp is due but im officially joining this bus
Toots123 ttc#1 cycle 4 bfp end of march

EnglishGirlAbroad · 04/03/2014 06:59

Kurama, sorry your in such pain. Hopefully all will be fine and the clomid has done its job! Maybe it's busted out two eggs and you'll be our passenger with twins!

Zermatt - you must be rattling with all those vits! My DH is the same, needs a reminder to take his! Men! What's this fertility wonder that's in your tea??

Toots, sorry AF got you but at least like you said you're now out if limbo. It could be that that cycle was an anovulatory one. Quite common, and AF is normally late as the hormones haven't all started their chain reaction. Fx for this month!! Smile

missmrsmummy · 04/03/2014 07:02

Thanks barmy bit nervous about today but just got to get on with it!

kurama sounds painful, hope you are ok and they can sort you out easily Thanks

Treaclepie19 · 04/03/2014 07:08

Haha spotti I will be just like that girl last night... I know it!

Sorry to hear youre unwell kurama :( hope you are ok.

Treaclepie19 · 04/03/2014 07:09

Also CD12 and first flashing smiley :)

lindamagoo · 04/03/2014 07:11

BFN this morning so it's not looking like this is my month, on the plus side though it means I can drink on a night out in Edinburgh next weekend, not been out for what feels like forever Smile

SaRaRaRaRa · 04/03/2014 07:23

Sorry linda, you never know though... Your night out sounds like fun if this isn't your month xx

Genni, I think you have your appointment today? Good luck!

kurama hope you are feeling a bit better this morning and the pain is easing.

Welcome Zermatt!

rambini · 04/03/2014 07:24

Morning all. I don't use opks, so my estimate of ovulation is fairly rough, but I knew it was sometime this week and DH has been really poorly all week so this morning I may have woken him up and pounced slightly Blush
But he took it like a trooper so I am feeling a bit happier this morning lol, even if I do also feel like a bit of a meany!!!
kurama sorry ur feeling poorly, but lets hope if it is overstimulation that it works in your favour Smile
toots although obviously not the preferred outcome, at least there has been an outcome! Now you can pom pom wave and fx for this cycle.
Fx for a lovely 2nd day back missmrs

toots123 · 04/03/2014 07:26

Thanks english and rambini
Yes im just glad my body is doing something and im just hoping it was a random cycle and back to 30ish days now :)

lindamagoo · 04/03/2014 07:40

Thanks SaRaRa, I won't be upset if this isn't my month as it's my first month off the pill and we didn't really try, after next af though my oh is in for a dtd shock, lol. But like the dedicated POAS addict that I am I'll keep testing until af shows up Smile

Zermatt · 04/03/2014 07:43

englishgirlabroad the herb is called Dong Quai and here is a bit about it

bodyecology.com/articles/nine_benefits_of_dong_quai.php

Its apparently good for balancing female reproductive hormones. Like I said the tea tastes rank (its a mix of about 10 different chinese herbs), but if someone told me that covering myself in marmite and dtd in front of a portrait of the queen mother while listening to the wombles theme tune would help me conceive at the moment I'd probably consider giving it a bash :)

Sorry to hear of you BFN Lindamagoo hope you have a great night out, lots of nice drinks and relax.

Treaclepie I'm on cd12 as well, exciting to get a smiley - go forth a dtd and good luck! Wink

LemonDrizzler · 04/03/2014 07:46

Kurama that's rubbish news - hope the pain eases up soon and dp is looking after you.

I tested again this morning and a clear bfp so seems positive but concerned about the bleeding so will make gp app to see if all ok and try not to get too excited in the meantime.

lindamagoo · 04/03/2014 08:08

Lemon I had quite a bit of bleeding with ds1 early on, got a scan at around 7 wks and it was a cyst which went away by itself causing no problems then a bleed at around 24 wks which terrified me and it was only a urine infection, very common for bleeding in pregnancy but go see your gp for advice, fx all is well x

Starbright24 · 04/03/2014 08:12

Sorry to hear about all your pain karuma
welcome zermat
fx for next time toots

I just told my dp that I was thinking about going to the doctors for help. He asked why so I explained that we had been trying for a year and that after age 35 (I'm 38) it is what is suggested. I was greeted by absolute silence. He didn't say a word and just carried on with what he was doing. Oh well. At least the thought has been put in his head for future discussuons. Men!!!

LemonDrizzler · 04/03/2014 08:14

Thanks lindamagoo. :)
