Hi ladies, could I ask some advice - very confused! I had a long cycle last month of 31 days (never more than 28) and got a bfp on tesco test but negative on FRER then got my period so assumed evap line. Was quite a short period but otherwise normal. So yesterday did OPK and got strong positive and also started spotting. Assumed (googled) must be ovulation bleeding although never had that. Today also got a pos OPK which I thought was weird so did a preg test (poas addiction!!) which seems to be positive! So what is going on?! Why did I have a period and why am I spotting now? All very odd! Any ideas?

Could it be implantation spotting Lemon? Try POAS in a couple of days and see if the line is still there. You could currently be pregnant! By the way, OPKs will also give you a line if you have high levels of HCG - this is probably why you are getting positives on OPKs too.

If last period was a period I am on cd12 but if it wasn't I am on 43 or something. Is it possible to still have a period? Doesn't seem like a terribly good sign!

I think you can still have bleeding and have a successful pregnancy. You need a digi which will tell you how many weeks you are! Sounds like you had a proper period and you are having implantation spotting now. Fx it's a bfp! Number 8!

Thank you all so much. It feels very good to be number six......sand very unreal. As you can see I was on cycle ten. Had started to become very worried and only this time last week was in tears at cramping. It all becomes very consuming and now I feel like I'm in a dream. I did end up buying two clear blues so I'm sure I will need to do the other one by the end of the week to reassure myself. I will keep shaking my pom poms for you lovely ladies and am thinking of you all. Many thanks again.

Not really trying this month, but also not trying to stop it!
I feel a lot more positive this week, last week was horrid, but now I feel I need to pick myself up and begin positive thinking. Sometimes it's hard, I keep thinking if it had worked I'd be so many weeks and maybe telling people, but never mind. In a weird way I have to hope it was my body doing the right thing!
