The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Good luck deus try to step away from the bathroom for a few hours!

deuscat · 06/03/2014 13:54

Chicken I've been going to the loo every 45 minutes. I'm driving myself crazy!!! I wonder if anyone thinks I've got a urine infection with my numerous loo trips?!! Grin

sebsmummy1 · 06/03/2014 14:23

oooh deus, fingers crossed lady! Grin

Gail i'm really glad you don't have to have any intervention. Hope your regular cycle kicks into gear soon as the WTF cycle is a pain in the arse xxx

HollyBen · 06/03/2014 14:38

Good news gail and fingers crossed deus

Seasides · 06/03/2014 14:42

Also, something else not to get my hopes up about, this month for the first time my chart seems to be triphasic. Second temp increase after ov from yday (7dpo). Just interesting, not had that before! But then not temped that much either.

sebsmummy1 · 06/03/2014 15:18

Seasides I have the shittest thermometer in existence I think as I am always 36.5. I haven't temped for ages so I'm hoping I will see a temp shift when I ovulate but is it normal to always be the same temperature?

TeaRex · 06/03/2014 15:44

Just been sucker punched with a fb pregnancy post, didn't know she was even pregnant but guessing she might be due around when I should have been. Bollocks (why isnt there some well hung smiley? could be useful in all sorts of posts) Another person hidden but she lives round the corner so will see her for real eventually. Am I too old to stamp my feet and throw a hissy fit?

gail great news for you :) and welcome the the zone known as wtf :)
deus got everything crossed for you and hope you get a nice surprise tomorrow cakes

CakesALot · 06/03/2014 16:12

Eurgh, how annoying Tea. Throw the hissy fit, it might make you feel better! DHs cousin is pregnant and just a week ahead of where I would've been. Can't wait for the plethora of family events coming up Angry

EnglishGirlAbroad · 06/03/2014 16:48

Think my thermometer is on it's way out too... It's either 36.21 or 36.41! Today it was 36.41... Didn't believe it, did it again straight after, 36.28!! Wtf!!

Tea - it's perfectly acceptable to throw a hissy fit! I threw my phone across the room once!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 06/03/2014 17:16

Oh another fucking fb pregnancy! All these pregnancies would have you believe it's easy! AngrySad Unfortunately we know better...

LaceyLee · 06/03/2014 17:25

Sebs for bbt you need one that goes to 2dp so of yours doesn't that could be the issue cos it's probably rounded up or down.

I even hate seeing celebs announcing they're preg!

I had a tiny bit of pink cm this morning... 9 dpo and last cycle luteal phase was only 8 days! So hoping this isn't the onset of AF,
Doesn't actually feel like I'm about to come on, but feel that it's a bit hopeful thinkings it's IB so will have to wait and see, wish me luck!

sebsmummy1 · 06/03/2014 17:44

Ah Lacey thAt makes sense!! I've just dug out the instructions and it says 0.1in the range 35-41 degree c. Will it still spot ovulation do you think? I'll have to buy a new one.

LaceyLee · 06/03/2014 17:52

Hmmm, it might but not with a lot of certainty. Would probably buy another one, I got one cheap off amazon which seems to work fine

sebsmummy1 · 06/03/2014 17:53

Have just bought one off ebay. Thanks for explaining as I was perplexed lol doesn't take much

EnglishGirlAbroad · 06/03/2014 18:07

You should still be able to see ovulation as the temp rise is normally 0.2 or more. It'll be a rough idea at least.
I'm ordering a new one.

noitsachicken · 06/03/2014 19:04

I bought my thermometer from boots, it was really good first time round. But as you have to take your temp before moving in the morning its doesn't work now I have a toddler! Unless I set my alarm to wake me before he does, or DH gets up every day.....

Carly6971 · 06/03/2014 19:31

Just checking in, nothing exciting happening here, just waiting to ov or for af which ever comes first. I am cd29 if I count my first day of mc as cd1 :/ no signs of either, I hope everyone else is ok :) it's nearly Friday :) x

Metalhead · 06/03/2014 19:38

Ooh some promising signs here, fx for you deus and Lacey!

I had a visit from my heavily pregnant friend this afternoon as her DS and my DD are best buddies. Strangely, I feel ok about seeing her, despite the fact that we started ttc#2 at the same time, but whereas I'm still here 8 months and one mc later she was lucky enough to fall pregnant straight away. I think it was harder in the beginning as I had to let go of those notions of us going through pregnancy and baby stages together.

sebsmummy1 · 06/03/2014 20:42

Well no TITH tonight as DP too tired and whilst I could nag him into it, I am showing no fertile signs at all and still spotting lightly so I am deferring to tomorrow night. God this TTC lark is so romantic and sexy lol

Parsley2506 · 06/03/2014 20:49

Evening all!

Just popping in quickly - got to pack for a naughty weekend away, woop woop! Relaxation, photography and plenty of TITH (obvs - OV should be Mon/Tue) and hopefully not of the boring ttc kind.

gail glad you're out the other side now, welcome to the world of the WTF cycle...

deus and lacey I am really hoping for some BFPs tomorrow! we haven't had any for ages.

Sorry so many people have had pg/baby bombs today. I hope your weekends are bomb free! Will try to check in over weekend, knowing you lot of chatter boxes you'll be 5 threads on! Wink

Seasides · 06/03/2014 21:03

Yep, mine came from Boots too. Seems to have worked so far - mine's around 36.3 pre-ov, then 36.7 post - but this month it's gone up to 36.9 for the last two days. The only other time it's done that is the morning after drinking far too much! No other real symptoms though.

Sorry for the baby-bombs Angry Envy. Saucy weekend away hey parsley - when you say photography...?! That is gourmet TITH!

Just made a cracking dinner, feeling good! Small victories...

picklebum2011 · 06/03/2014 21:09

Lol seasides

TeaRex · 06/03/2014 21:13

Gourmet tith Grin what's that then? Free range eggs and orgasmic organic pork?

Seasides · 06/03/2014 21:31

Ha ha, orgasmic pork! Or, as - was it parsley? - suggested earlier, extra gravy Grin

Parsley2506 · 06/03/2014 21:57

Grin Grin hahah! Yes to all the above (apart from the saucy photos, honest!)
