Hurrah for happy parents, euro! Even tho your weekend sounds excessive.

Dish, after mc and cp I was hysterical for the first 20 few weeks of pregnancy. It's sadly part of the game. Except for exhaustion and insomnia I have had no symptoms this time (except the bump and kicking, which appeared at 22weeks). So less than the mc, more than th cp. Wait it out, not getting excited or believing is perfectly acceptable.

When is scan-day bugs?

eurochick · 24/02/2014 07:48

Bugs are you waiting for 12 weeks to tell people or are you telling some earlier than that?

cletterthedishes · 24/02/2014 07:56

Cheers ladies. I'll do my best to stave off the menkull Smile. I keep reminding myself that there are no rules when it comes to this game, more symptoms don't necessarily equal a stronger pregnancy.

A couple of new ones have arrived; being knackered and forgetting everything.

FrankelInFoal · 24/02/2014 08:27

They sound like good ones to have Dishy, as the others say everyone is different and there are no guarantees but so far you are definitely diffed.

For all the baking BESH, I found these chocolate cake recipes. Yum yum!

Fankletastic · 24/02/2014 09:31

Morning hags
Proper menkulling starts now! 10 dpo and getting a bit antsy. Have had non stop sore boobs since Friday, a few twinges and one or two slight dizzy spells. But I have been fooled by these symptoms before. Also had lots of ewcm on Friday (7dpo) which is unusual for me...what does that mean?

I feel like a loon for thinking I could get diffed straight after my lap and dye after 23 solid months of non diffage. But it seems reasonable to hold out some hope...doesn't it?

That bastard droid is due on Saturday so I intend to get verrry drunk! Have been so good this weekend- just one small glass of red on Friday night.

Your boss sounds like a right bundle of joy Bugs. Yes, he can fuck off with his unhappy existence.Your doggy needs you and that is more important.
Ihave completely lost my mojo for work since I got diffed at the end of 2012. I should have an 18 month old and be trying for #2. I couldn't give a toss about work these days...but at least it's a distraction from the full time menkul that is unexplained infertility.

MissHobart · 24/02/2014 10:50

Morning! Well after a brilliant weekend away I was all set to give OH (really should think of a NN Hmm ) an "I missed you" shag and the droid I definitely wasn't looking for found me overnight, giving me a textbook 28 day cycle, fucking typical! Confused I will be reminding him to book his S.A. for this week though! Grin

I'm glad all the upduffed BESH are doing well!

So I'm back to nothing to report! Crochet and sewing today before my next 7 day set at work! woohoo! Hmm

cletterthedishes · 24/02/2014 11:35

I'm definitely trying that no-bake choc cake frankel. Looks very, very tasty . . .

fankle - I also could not give a monkey's about work. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to deal with friends and rels asking me how work's going and how I'm going to 'grow my business'. I drivel on a bit to keep up appearances, but I would love to be able to say 'Actually, I don't give a shit. There's no point in building my business because I've been trying to have a baby for a year and until it happens I'm just hanging about.'

It doesn't help that I have a job that everyone thinks is fascinating but is in fact like any other job; sometimes good, sometimes bad, a lot of the time boring.

bugs, your boss sounds a bit 'sheltered' Hmm I forgot to update the BESH about my fuckdoodle ex-boss's latest move: on Friday I had an e-mail request that I 'like' his business page on FB Grin I am choosing to find this bloody hilarious.

Fankletastic · 24/02/2014 12:10

I know Dishes. I've been hanging about for 2 years now thinking 'I'll be pregnant soon'. I have a job that everyone thinks is bloody fantastic so I often feel guilty for not appreciating it/ giving it my all. The truth is I get bored of pretty much any job after 2-3 years and as I've been in this one for 5 years I am really fucking bored of it now! I know I should be looking for something else (if only as a distraction) but it's the thought of getting pregnant (a bloody amazing prospect) versus the guilt of then taking a year off work and pissing off a new employer. Grr! What I need is a bloody crystal ball!

cletterthedishes · 24/02/2014 12:44

That is exactly my situation, fankle . . . I too tend to get bored of any job after a while, and feel a bit guilty about not wanting the one I've got any more. It took four hellish years to train for, but it's just not where my heart is any more.

I often find I'm not allowed to complain about my job. It's like everyone else likes the idea of me and my 'fairytale' profession so much that they get positively cross if you inject some reality. 'Well, it's still a lot better than being stuck in an office, isn't it?!' No actually, right now I'd rather have a nice secure office job where I'd get to work in a normal, friendly mixed group and have benefits and maternity leave. Plus anyone who says that has never, ever had to freeze their metaphorical balls off working outside in January, or spend an hour every night washing industrial dirt off, or wear a hideous rubber breathing mask for four hours at a time, or put their elbows in ice every night so they don't get a tendon inflammation.

Rant over Grin

Fankletastic · 24/02/2014 12:54

Oh lord, you win dishesGrin - yours sounds a lot harder than an office job!

I wasn't competing Smile sorry for going a bit off the deep end! Everyone's job is difficult in some way, and mine's nothing special. It's just that it gets idealised a bit.

Like you, I've wondered about getting some other work. But you never know when the diff might turn up . . .

cletterthedishes · 24/02/2014 13:09

'Professionally unfulfilled' - yes yes yes

Remember, whether the pregnancy thing works out or not for any of us, there's loads of time left and we'll all have another shot at this career thing later on . . .

Fankletastic · 24/02/2014 13:10

Oh if only the diff would turn up for me soon!!! I feel like a dog chasing its tail

I bought a book on quilting so that I could make a little cot quilt. It got hidden after the last MC.

Fabuluce · 24/02/2014 13:41

We've just bought a house that's perfect for a family but rubbish if I need to commute back into London if I don't get diffed soon (either naturally or via ivf). And I'm not working either as my job was crazy stressful and getting a new one was stressful and then we'd' have to put off ivf as we wouldn't be able to get away with all the time off in the new job etc. We decided we just had to make a call in it rather than wait...wait...which is what we've been doing for the past 3 years....
If it doesn't work I think we'll fuck off abroad somewhere exotic. Why not eh?
So who's due when? Fank you're Saturday is that right? I'm due on Wednesday and have had cramping and exhaustion since Friday and occasional sensitive boobs. I'm so totally over symptom watching tho - I does my head in - every month of Is it, is it, is it, is it? No one else really gets that do they.

Fabuluce · 24/02/2014 13:42

Good news that it's not bone cancer and arthritis can be well managed which is great. Steroids presumably? How old is she?

Where's your boy dog then? I'm probs being a bit dense and have missed something important along the way... Not surprised you've been feeling a bit bereft without them both there - pets really do fill quite a space in your life don't they.
