bfp due on valentines, 2ww

hello Smile

im crossing everything for a bfp on valentines day

cycle #3 for me, ttc our 2nd child

added pressure that if no bfp by mid march we have to stop ttc as ill be starting treatment as I have ms but im feeling hopeful I can tell my consultant no treatment as bfp! !

anyone want to keep me company?

Thanks Helen I'm using them too! How come you discided not to use them this cylcle did you not like them?

I didn't really commit to it properly last month either to be honest, I did them a couple of times randomly. Just got them because I was worried I wasnt ovulating after coming off the pill! Just decided to dtd every few days throughout the middle of the cycle for the time being and if that gets too much I might go back to them!

How are you finding them?

I think thats a good idea! I think if I don't get a bfp this month we might just try that as we have run out of opk..I really like them though because it reassurance me that I have ovulated and that I'm not just guessing!! I always seem to get a faint line just before I get a possive opk and I don't get any line any other time in th month, I don't know if this is possible but it seems to work for me ATM! I never realise ttc could be so hard I alway thought I would be relaxed about it but things changed as soon as we started ttc! Will this be your first Helen? X

The last two times we got a BFP it was from a month of shagging every other day. We were exhausted! Worked though!

If im not pg this month I think we will give that a go next time.

I want to wait and test again Fri but I dont know if I have the willpower.

Thisistheyear- yeah this will be my first! Will it be your first too? Yeah I definitely think that I would like the reassurance, but I definitely know that I don't need anything else to obsess over!! I've just gone off pains and ewcm and am hoping for the best!! It is quite tiring doing it every other day, but I think it's probably the best bet if you can manage it to make sure you've covered early and late ovulation! But then again I've never had a BFP so what the hell do I know!!

Mynameiskenadams- stay strong, I'm not going to test until Friday but I'll need some support to get me through!! Unless AF turns up of course, then I'll need some wine!!

This will be my first too! That's so true if you dtd every other day you know that you will be covered!! I'm the same I have only had bfn so what do I know either! I think sometimes it more luck than judgment.

Don't be to dishearten mynameiskenadams I think you tested far to early and could still get your bfp this month only 30% of women will get a bfp at this time in the 2ww wait so don't give up hope just yet!! X

anyone else having vivid dreams? Im having two or three a night. They wake me too, and I tale a while to get back to sleep.

Could be totally unrelated but its been a week solid.now!

Yeah I think it's a lot down to luck too as you can do everything right and there's still only like a 20% chance of getting pregnant. It's rubbish really!

Yeah I've been having a lot of dreams recently. Was the same last month though so not reading too much in to it.

How's everyone coping with the tww?

I know it's so frustrating that you could of done everything right but you still might not get a bfp at the end of the month! I gave into temptation today with a first response test and got a bfn! I'm only 9dpo so it was really early to test but I couldn't help it!
I know that's 9dpo is the common day for implantation to happen and you can't get a bfp until a few days after so I'm still hopeful but can't help feeling a bit disappointed :(

I know yeah, it's so hard isn't it. I was really really tempted yesterday as well, but I also read that 9dpo is typical implantation day etc so I thought no point in testing because I'll definitely see a bfn. Definitely don't lose hope at all though, like you say it is far too early really. Are you going to try again in a few days or leave it until weekend? If no AF by Saturday, I'm going to test with fmu. I'm thinking I don't want to be too excited or disappointed at work so I'll leave it until Saturday morning. AF is more than likely going to show up before then though. (not much pma going on there is there!)

According to my tracker app thing, I started with cramps and back ache on the Tuesday before af turned up on the Friday, so I'll see what happens tomorrow.

Thanks Helen i hope there is still a chance, but I guess it still really early days for me only on my cycle 3..I think I'm going to test on Friday morning and definitely stick to that this time! I didn't use FMU so that may of effected it too.

Well at least that may indicate if your Af is going to show, I only get my back pains the night before af so it doesn't really give me much to go on! I guess it only 4 more day so just got to hold out until then x

Yeah true, but there are so many people who got their bfps first month so there's always a chance I suppose!

Yeah I'm looking out for that but it will only be my second proper cycle coming off the pill so it might be totally different this time! I wish I had a crystal ball!

I know all my friends came of their contraceptive and fell pregnant straight away! I know if I could tell that I will get a bfp one day I would stop worried about it but it's the not knowing that's driving me crazy!

I also just booked a holiday for June and I'm worried if I don't get my bfp this month I will only be in the first trimester if I fall pregnant anytime after this month! Do you think I should put ttc on hold if I don't get a bfp this month? Just worried about flying in early pregnancy

That's exactly what I think. Even thought it's quite unlikely, I still worry about the chance of never getting pregnant. It's good to hear about so many people who get pregnant straight away!

I think it would be hard to stop trying once you've started really?! Maybe speak to the doctor if you get your bfp before then?

I'm going to turkey littlemisswine! I think your right Helen trying to stop would be difficult! I think I will talk to the doc if I do fall pregnant before then and see what they say. I know you can fly any time up until 36weeks if your not having a high risk pregnancy but still unsure about the idea of that!
Guess I will cross that bridge when it comes to it!!

Yeah definitely. A friend of my sisters flew from Singapore to England when she was 11weeks pregnant and she'd had 2 miscarriages over the last year and she was absolutely fine. But I do think whether or not you'd risk it is personal choice. I'd be more worried about feeling rubbish whilst I was there than about the actual flying! But I suppose you can't put your life on hold for what ifs!

Ah I'm wishing weekend would come even faster this week!!

I will be 12dpo on valentines day. Been having mild cramps and have had some brown spotting. HOW DO PEOPLE COPE WAITING?!?!? I'M GOING MAAAAAAAD! Glad we're all in it together!!

Woke an hour ago with major cramping - every five mins or so. So painful I go tense all over. If this is AF it is worst one of my life!

Currently lying in bed with hot wTer bottle in my tummy

Hahaha Amy that message made me laugh! Think distraction is e only way to go, but it's reeeeeeally hard!!

Mynameiskenadams- hopefully the cramping is a good sign. I'm on another thread where 3 ladies who all got their bfps said they started with cramps and thought AF was coming! Suppose you have to stay realistic and say there's a chance of it being AF but still a chance of it being implantation too. Fingers very very crossed for you!

Still no symptoms here, massively on crotch watch praying AF doesn't turn up. Getting closer and closer to POAS day....!

It really is. I keep swinging between feeling confident I am pregnant and feeling like there is no chance whatsoever. I keep feeling tempted to test early but then I think there's no point and it will make me more disappointed. Argh rubbish!!
