bfp due on valentines, 2ww

hello

im crossing everything for a bfp on valentines day

cycle #3 for me, ttc our 2nd child

added pressure that if no bfp by mid march we have to stop ttc as ill be starting treatment as I have ms but im feeling hopeful I can tell my consultant no treatment as bfp! !

anyone want to keep me company?

I am desperate to POAS. I may today on the pretext of knowibg whether I can drink tonight.

Friends of ours announced their pregnancy to us last night (9months ttc, first baby) and I am beyond excited for them!

Aww that's lovely when's AF due?! I keep thinking I love to POAS but it wouldn't do me any good because AF isn't due until end of next week!!

Tbh I am not 100% on AF date. I remember my last AF thinking "urgh, this means Ill be coming on just in time for holiday - joy!" and I go on hol Saturday.

Right though, its too early to test!

Ah right. Have you not got a tracker app?! There's a good table thing that tells you the accuracy of testing each day past ovulation. I'll find you the link!

Hello, can I join? TTC#2, cycle 1. Had Mirena removed in Jan and had AF from 15th-18th. Didn't have AFs while it was in but definite EWCM every 30 days(ish) so hopefully I was still ovulating.

Don't know for sure when AF/bfp due and I know this first try's a long shot, but can't help feeling a bit hopeful :-)

i think about 9 or 10 as had +opks on the thurs and fri

Welcome Beth, are you using opk? You never know it could happen first time I know many people who have got their bfp on first attempted. Good luck for tomorrow littlemisswine make sure you let us all know! I think I am around the same as you but think I'm going to try and hold off until at least Wednesday or Thursday.. Saying that I probably will test sooner than that!

That's great news littlemisswine I had a look and you could possibly be right! But it's hard to see it on my phone! I think you should do another test in the morning as it better to test with morning urine.. What made you test now? I thought you was going to wait until tomorrow haha! X

I was going to wait, I put the tests in the bathroom then thought id give them a try

im def testing tomorrow and if I think theres one will get a digital test to try later in the week

I dis the exact same thing last month, I bought the cheap ones 2 as I was testing so much! Have you had any symptoms?

no I think its too early I just got impatient!

when are you planning on testing?

Yeah I guess so but have read things about women getting symptoms around a week after ovulation and then getting a bfp a week after, but it might just be in their head! I want to wait until my af is due which is on 14th but don't think I will be able to hold of until then!! I'm so impatient too and don't think I will be able to resist.

When did you get your positive opk?

im not 100% on the positive opk as had lines the same as the control one from weds night til fri night but never went darker than the control one then sat am there was hardly a line so I presume I ovulated on the fri but could be wrong

I thought it had to be the same or darker than the control line, well that's what I have been going on and it does seem as if you ovulated on Friday by your opk.. I had a faint opk line on Friday night and on Saturday I got a positive line but then tested again on Sunday and there was no line at all so I think I ovulated on Saturday and think my lh surge is short! I'm a little confused now that the opk line has to be darker because if it does it means I still haven't had a positive test!! Can anyone help me?

Hi Thisistheyear, not I'm not using opk but will give them a go next time if this month doesn't work out. Conceived on first attempt with DD (2) so either I'm very fertile or was just very lucky! Am still bf twice a day but hopefully that won't be enough to affect ovulation.

I haven't heard that bf can affect ovulation my sister in law got pregnant whilst bf her DD, so if your very fertile this good be your month too! If your not sure when your Af is due are you going to test or just wait Beth?

Might give it a go on Tuesday as will be about 11 dpo (judging by ewcm and bad cramps which were probably ov pain) and also our 8 year wedding anniversary

I used opks the first month of trying (ebay cheapies) and the line had to be same or darker than the control to be positive!
