))))))))))))))))))))))))Hugs(((((((((((((((((((((

Try to relax hun... I really wish there was something I could say to make things easier on you but the reality is that no matter what is said nothing will ease that feeling of fear.
I tried everything.
You have done so well to date. Just muddle thru u only have a few days left. Make sure you plan an easy but full weekend.

oinker · 19/10/2006 11:59

rubles,

I am still a porker I have loads to lose. i have dropped a dress size though. Mind you that's sort of loose too. so am going on being down two dress sizes.

rubles · 19/10/2006 12:04

Oh don't look at how far you have to go, look at how far you've come. You can't sniff at 2 dress sizes love.

firststar, there used to be a big thread on the isis scope thing. I don't know how many BFPs they had - I think that there was often some confusion, but I didn't really look at it then. Maybe someone else could comment.

I use the wee opk sticks from access diagnostics, they do the trick, but I don't really need them because I know my ovulation signs now down to a tee, they just kind of confirm it.

Andi

Good to hear from you. At the end of the day you know that there is nothing anyone can say to reassure you. Not until you see that heartbeat. And even then do doubt you will worry further on. That's the reality of pg after mc, it's so so tough. All anyone can say is ''really really hope it's good news''.

I didn't have anything that warned me it had happened but deep down if im honest, I 'knew' something was up. All you can do is make sure that there are people around you for support (that includes us), do all the right things (vits, diet etc, and I know you are) and take one day at a time. Also try and do as much as possible for relaxation (I know that must be really hard).

I really hope you see that heartbeat, and remember that when you do, it greatly decreases the chance of any prob.

Look after yourself and bean xx xx

desperate2bmum · 19/10/2006 18:30

andi - nice to "see" you again...you havnt got long to wait now and from what you said things have been going a lot better with this pg so far with regards to bleeding etc. i will be thinking of you hunny. what time is your scan?

big hellos to the rest of you. i am now signing off for the weekend but will try and post if i can, i am cd24 of 26 day cycle but been getting pains and tonnes of cm for past 4 days
so will just have to wait and see the outcome of that.
wish you all a good weekend xxxxx

treacletart · 19/10/2006 20:16

Hello all can I join in too? But I will need some advance forgiveness for being much more of a lurker than a poster.I had a missed miscarriage at the beginning of the month and (perhaps a little rashly?) we decided to try again as quickly as possible. I cant find anything to say this is actually dangerous - just trickier to date resultant pregnancies - anybody else have any info?
Figured after an ERPC I'd have no idea about my cycle without some kit. I've succesfully used a microscope to help conceive twice before and I'm using it again now, along with some ebay diagnostic OV test strips. Seems I ovulated this past week, just 2 weeks after ERPC. OV strips showed up first - then nice clear microscope ferns for 4 days. I find I get a better reading in the afternoon with the microscope than first thing in the morning. Hoping this all means I ovulated, but I'm guessing my hormones could be all over the shop at the moment. Anyway, took full advantage of the situation, including post coital shoulder stands so I'm keeping fingers crossed and for everyone else too Good Luck!

andi0411 · 19/10/2006 20:25

Hi everyone and thanks so very much for the lovely supportive comments- it means alot because I don't really talk about these fears in RL mainly because the people around me don't have the knowledge that we have on here- why would they?- and also because I don't want to stress them. But on here we've all been through m/c hell and some have been through pg after m/c hell and it does help to share. I was having a wobbly evening, but I did have a good talk with dp and we've discussed how we'll feel if it's bad news, what we'll say and do etc..just to have a plan of sortts. 8-45 am Monday morning is D Day.

D2beM- sending you tonnes of pos vibes- hope this is your month hon!!!

Edie- so kind as ever-I haven't had any bad feelings so we'll just have to see- where are you in your cycle now?

Rubles - i haven't used the isis scope thing- i used the sticks. I found the cheap ones off e bay to be fine as long as you absolutely follow the instructions iykwim?

Oinker -so many congrats love on that fab weight loss- good luck tomorrow- let us know!!!

Firststar- how late are you now? It's still looking good- on one of my pg's I didn't show pos for over a week.....

Again thanks.

Hi All
I have been away from computer for a few days, so trying to catch up.

Firstar- hope your feeling ok, must be very frustrating waiting. hugs

Andi - Fully understand your panic, Try to stay positive and not think about the past to much, I ended up needing some pregnancy councilling and physio coz I couldn't relax. Yoga really helped, and so did saying a daily sumkata (can't spell it) but basically a chant, make up a prophecy you would like to fufill(in your head say). First in a very quiet voice, second in a very loud, shouting voice and third in a normal voice-mine was "I will have this baby" It also really helped to visualize a healthy baby growing.

I also do this chant now again, to try and fall preg. and look for falling stars to wish upon

Rubles- How old is your dd? My ds is now 16 months, Today I saw a woman who was about 8 month preg with a one year old though, which was kinda weird? I'm now rationalizing to myself that an age gap can be good.

can't think of much more, to say i've run out of steam CD 13 today, which might explain it.

Hi everyone. Only 6 days to wait now.

Firststar. Forgive me if you have heard this b4. Are you sure this is AF and not implantation bleed. Have you done a Preg test. Imp Bleed tend to be very light and not last long.(tho have been known to be heavy) Not trying to give you false hope.

Andi

Think I maybe around cd17/18. Still don't think I have ov and started to get very faint period pains today (although had that with last pg) so don't know really. Will have to wait and see...

minx69 · 20/10/2006 22:53

Andi, (((HUGS))) I really feel for you atm, I was exactly like that every time I was due a scan with DD. I had bleeds at 5wks and 11wks then raised AFP's (spina bifida marker) so ended up having 7 scans but each time I was thoroughly petrified that I would get the "sorry, no heartbeat" line or something similar. Deffo speak to your MW about how you are feeling, they really can help put your mind at ease and I totally agree about the relaxation stuff.

Firestarter, MASSIVE fingers crossed for you! Hope you get the +ve !!!

Sorry, have only skim read so I have missed out loads

Well, Im sat here with niggly crampy pains after a late ov (CD18) and am really fighting the urge to test as I know Im on for a long one this month. Am CD28 today and have told myself no testing til at least CD30 (first response test) so have to sit on my hands for the next 2 days!
Odd that it sounds, I dont think I will be majorly disappointed if this isnt our month because I have a stinking cold and am holding off on the strong pills til AF arrives, at which point I have some max strength decongestants on standby!!!

I HATE THE 2WW!!!!

minx69 · 20/10/2006 22:57

Firestarter, have you tested again?? Could this be implantation rather than AF you are seeing???

duchesse · 21/10/2006 18:22

Hello all,
I'm back at square one after ttc for three years, ending last week in a miscarriage at 13 weeks (baby died at 12 weeks 3 days). At least we were forewarned by three bleeds at 2 wks (thought it was a period), 8weeks 5days (baby still fine on scan, 11 weeks 1 day (incuding clots and opening cervix (baby still fine and active on scan), but dead at first trimester screening scan ten days later.

Had an ERPC on Wednesday evening, thankfully minimal physical symptoms now, but emotional and tearful, not sleeping well. My only solution is to try again as soon as possible, but I know that even if it works, i will spend the pregnancy anguishing.

Sorry to sound negative. Maybe as my hormones right themselves, I will be more positive.

I wanted to say hello, but I can't bring myself to start obsessing about whether every cycle will be it as I did too much of that three years ago. I find it soul-destroying when the inevitable period arrives every month. All I can do is cross fingers now.

minx69 · 21/10/2006 19:58

duchesse, condolences and deepest sympathy for your loss ((hugs))

CD1.... back to square one...

Ah well, at least I can hit the strong cold meds for a few days and kick this headcold into touch.

andi0411 · 21/10/2006 23:57

Duchesse -I am so sorry for your loss- god it's tragic and i feel for you. I did the same as you and just tried to ease the pain somewhat by ttc again.[hugs]]]]It's not about replacing the child you lose it's about wanting to be a mum.

Edie do you think you may have managed to do the deed around ov this month- I know you're cd18-19 at the mo...the 2ww is a bitch isn't it? I'll be thinking of you.

Thanks Minx for sharing your scan misery with me- I felt my heart race as i read what you'd been through, it makes you want to crawl under a rock and hide- go into denial and say everything's ok.xx

Firststar- is this def your af? I'm sorry if it is...good luck this month love.

Uki thanks for that- i may try a bit of yoga again- I did do it a few years ago and enjoyed it- I need to CHILL!!! and stop being a worrier all the time- thanks everyone for your support- I'm off line now until Monday- after the dreaded scan- I'll let you know.
xxxxxxxxx

desperate2bmum · 22/10/2006 10:31

duchese so so sorry for your loss thats so upsetting to hear. you will get lots of support on here the girls are fantastic.

a/f has arrived

duchesse · 22/10/2006 12:12

Thanks all. I am extremely fortunate to be a mother already- I have three older children, 9, 11 and 13 years old. We never intended there to be this big a gap (have been trying for over three years), but were too tired soon after the birth of our third. I should have taken my fertility for granted.
