I should never have taken my fertility for granted (obviously)

Uki · 22/10/2006 12:19

Hi Everyone not to much good news scince i last chatted.

SORRY to minx and desperate2b about Af's arriving. I hope you are both feeling ok and minx's decongestions are now helping the cold at least.

hi and welcome duchesse- such a horrible time for you. {{{hugs}}}
I'm sure you will get preg quicker this time, I get quicker and quicker after each m/c, but just wish they would stick. I also find it is a very strong feeling to get preg straight again straight away, but a month off is also very healing.

edie123 · 22/10/2006 12:49

Andi

Don't think I ov this month at all but I feel ok about it. Got a UTI at the mo so not feeling very healthy! Good luck for tomorrow xxxxxxxxxxxxx

duchesse · 22/10/2006 13:08

Good luck over the next couple of weeks, all. I'm off to Italy for half-term (2 weeks for my crew). Bye.

oinker · 22/10/2006 17:42

Got my hospital appointment in the post yesterday....

Cheeky ucs.... 2nd Jan 2007 !!!!!
Can you beleive it.....

I am not standing for this.......

oinker · 22/10/2006 17:43

I am sooooooooo effing angry...

Janus · 22/10/2006 19:50

Oh Oinker, that's just ridiculous. First of all I would ring them and try/demand an earlier appt but if that doesn't work tell them if they get any kind of cancellation they ring you. Maybe given just a couple of hours notice you can get there? They must try and give you something better than this. Good luck, must be sooooo upsetting, January seems forever away.

Janus · 22/10/2006 19:52

Sorry, one more thought, I would try ringing daily to see if there are any cancellations to start with, once they realise you really do mean you would drop everything to be there they will remember you.

typhoonsmum · 22/10/2006 19:59

Ok, 5 days to wait.

Yesterday breast felt as tho they were bigger. Just seemed to notice them more. Today they are slightly tender. Getting very tired of an afternoon ( but have had two bad nights sleep.) Was whinging at Disney's Tarzan this afternoon.( It was a sad moment - the tiger had killed his parents and then the gorilla started to sing " you'll be in my heart")

Took one of those free test from work and it was BFN but not due for 5 days so it would be. I can feel the paranoia setting in already. I will be a gibbering wreck by Thursday

babyfettle · 22/10/2006 20:52

Oinker, big hugs [[[[[[[[[[[[[HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}} I do hope you manage to move it earlier. Remember we are here for you when you need to rant.

I'm afraid I haven't really been around much over the last few days, so I hope I've not missed too much and everyone else is doing ok.

Sorry for the Af's and hello to the newcomers - as everyone says, I hope your stay here is short.

My AF arrived on Friday, but has been really really light, which is a bit strange. But, I've bought some pink grapefruit juice, and going back on folic acid tomorrow and give up drinking so much coffee. I'll be CD14 the day DH gets back, so I have to be ready! I just hope he is!

take care all,
x

edie123 · 23/10/2006 08:39

Ok, not sure when AF is due because of mc last month. Thought I had AF about a week after mc but not sure. I have been panicking that I didn't ov at all this month as was monitoring CM and don't remember it being the right consistency. Anyway, over the past 5/6 days I have had the most awful heartburn ever and I think I have a UTI aswell. Don't know if im pg-prob not but NEVER get heartburn!

rubles · 23/10/2006 10:09

Edie, I really don't know what could be going on. What are the symptoms of your UTI? What CD are you on? (assuming that was your AF after your m/c).

I wonder how Andi is getting on - she had her scan appt for 8.45, so should know by now. Fingers crossed for you Andi.

Janus · 23/10/2006 10:15

Rubles, been thinking of andi all morning, amazing how you can worry for someone you've never met! Hope it's good news.

Juicylucythe2nd · 23/10/2006 10:33

Been thinking about Andi too. She seemed quite optimistic on one of her posts over on antinatal as she's had no "bad signs" sofar.

I'm feeling optimistic for her. Hope she logs on soon and lets us know.

I have a scan on wed (will be 9+1) so fingers crossed for me girls. Still suffering TOTAL M/C PARANOIA!!! Will age about 3 years if this pg goes full term!

Thanks.......

I phoned this morning and went cuckoo.... They admitted to making a mistake and now have an appointment on 7th Nov. I am still pissed off with them though. My high expectaion of good service at St Marys is starting to falter...

I have endured a weekend of unnecessary stress..

swift1 · 23/10/2006 16:01

Hi everyone,

Im usually a lurker, but thought Id come and say hello today as I am driving myself mad!!!

Normally a 28 day cycle and am on day 31 day. Cant stop thinking 'am I , aren't I' Like we all do each month and Im going CRAZY. HAd a mc on November and another in June so whilst I'm hopefully, I'm also anxious.....

rubles · 23/10/2006 16:02

I dreamt about you last night Oinker, and in my dream it worked out for you. I think you got a cancellation or something like that. Well done on being pushy and getting it sorted. November 7th - that's 14 days, blimey.
I can remember that it is a bit of a risky operation, but have they given you an idea of the likelihood of the risks?

Andi-Don't know if managed to do it around ov. How did the scan go?

Firststar-My cycles before mc were anything from 28 days to 35 so a bit random. Doc says today that I do not have UTI so a bit worried about the stomach and back ache but she seemed unconcerned. Really knackered tonight, fell asleep infront of TV despite going to bed last night at half nine!!

babyfettle · 23/10/2006 18:35

Hi All

I hope no news is good news from Andi. Anyone heard from her?

Oinker, great news about the appointment - 7th Nov is so soon [My DH should be back by then]

My AF arrived with a frenzy today, so was obviously just slow at starting.

Have a question for JuicyLucy - did you do anything other than grapefruit juice? Looked at cough medicines, but just felt that it was a bit risky. Managed to have a decaf Costa coffee today and didn't really miss the caffeine, so feel very pleased with myself, but having a glass of wine now - everything in moderation!

Keep positive everyone - lets hope we all have positive Christmases!

babyfettle · 23/10/2006 18:39

Edie - crossed-posts!

Is it worth testing just to put your mind at rest? Also have you tried tracking your basal body temperature? No real use for predicting ovulation, but at least you know when you have ovulated and then know you have 12-16 days to wait until AF arrives. I've used it for the last few years, just so I had an idea when to expect AF, as my AF were so irregular. Luckily since my MC earlier this year, they've got much more regular. But it is still a useful marker for me.

take care
x

edie123 · 23/10/2006 18:46

Babyfettle

Haven't done test yet-so scared it will be BFN!! I could do the temps but TBH monitoring CM normally works for me. Half of me thinks I may be pg and the other half rears I didn't ov.
