Blimey, you lot have been busy the last few days!!
No chance of playing catch-up tho Im afraid, at work

Am currently on my 2WW and its doing my nut in. Im trying desperately not to think about it (yeah right! Like there is even a chance I wont totally obscess and imagine every pg symtpom under the sun!)

Comiserations to anyone who hasnt caught this month, fingers crossed to those waiting still and congrats to anyone who has gotten off this damned rollercoaster!

rubles · 16/10/2006 09:26

Janus...so sorry...a Monday morning and AF arriving to boot - not good. It's tough, I know. I hope your tests put your mind at rest about there not being anything wrong.

Nikki - I had a natural m/c which might take longer than an D&C and it took me about 4 weeks to get the hormone out.

Firststar - here's hoping for you...

Oinker - so what do you weigh now? I tell you what, I take my hat off to you for keeping that up for a whole week. You deserve a medal. So do you have an appointment tomorrow? And is that appointment to assess you further and slot you in for the operation? Is it under a general anaesthetic?

edie123 · 16/10/2006 09:52

Janus Really sorry, how disappointing and generally shit for you. We are all here for you...

Andi So good to hear from you! All the best for the scan-it's a fantastic sign that you have had no bleeding like in previous mc's. Good idea to wait for eight weeks and avoid all the confusion. How is DH now?

Nicki Welcome back! Don't know if you are still here...Saw your other thread about pg tests after ERPC and wondered if you had a + test?? xx

Chicken As others have said do it with morning urine and perhaps but one of those digital ones to avoid further confusion? If still unclear maybe get blood test to confirm either way? How horrible for you!

oinker · 16/10/2006 10:20

Janus

Don't give up hun... You will get there.

oinker · 16/10/2006 10:29

Rubles,

I think I have lost about 2 stone in total. Not sure exactly as my scales area bit shite. I have done a total of 7lbs to date on the cabbage soup. I will know for definate tomorrow.
Just noticed the new emoticon. CUTE
Hopefully I will come away from the hospital with a positive result, appointment etc.
Unfortunatley my home PC is knackered so you guys will get an update on wednesday.

Forgot to mention DH gave up on day 3.... He got all grumpy and moody on me... Hopeless !!

Janus- ((hugs)) So sorry that af showed.

Wow I need to try and get on here 2x a day lol!! you girls do chat!!

Anyway.... I am doing okish... starting to pannic about how I will react to af myself!

And of course am totally obsessing about symptoms!!

i am 4dpo now and have very sore (.)(.) ... I totally feel like af is going to arrive any minute... achy crampy in lower ab. , have heartburn and feel absolutely knackered. I am telling myself all of this is progesterone (normal post O) and not pregnancy related.... I am not daring to hope.

sigh

It doesn't help that I have 50 cheapy ebay pregnancy tests in the drawer! And I also have the willpower of a jelly.

Ho hum......

baby dust everyone.....

desperate2bmum · 16/10/2006 18:23

oinker - big congrats on the weight loss! i wish i had your will power too!!

janus - so sorry to hear a/f has arrived hopefully next month eh? chin up xxx

well i went and brought another rat this weekend thinking it might keep my other one company - BIG MISTAKE! she is way too tiny and my 1st one just bullies her so the new one will be going to live with my mum as of friday
i am cd21 today and the cramps have set in went swimming this afternoon and had to stop because it was wrenching my stomach. boobs feeling sore but when i touch them they feel fine - get your head around that one?!
i think dp is getting fed up of the wait now for me to fall we are going into our fifth month and its just far to long. each month that goes by the more it makes me think that my infection has done some damage...
hello to everyone i havnt mentioned! hope you all had a good weekend xx

Janus · 16/10/2006 21:24

Thank you so much everyone for all the commiserations, it really does make a difference to getting me through the first day of AF. Huge thanks, I really mean it.
My partner is off to do 'his stuff' this week so at least we will know if one of us has any problems. I will be doing the day 21 progesterone test. After this is all done we can finally get referred to a fertility centre to get us both properly checked out, think I need my fsh levels tested and definitely need some kind of internal scan because, like you desperate, I'm concerned that the nasty infection I had after my m/c a year ago has done some damage. Doesn't seem to make sense to me that for past 2 pregnancies I fell in first month with absolutely no idea what I was doing regarding times of month (and not that much sex either!) and now I'm doing it like a rabbit at the right time but nothing! Terrified time is running out, what if I'm early menopause, what if partner's sperm has taken a nose dive, etc, but more p*d off with all this waiting each month for the crashing disappointment, would now rather know what we're up against.
Ramble over!!
Oinker, good luck for tomorrow (I should know this but what operation are you waiting for?)
Firstar, you're doing well girl, any news?

andi0411 · 16/10/2006 23:50

Janus - oh you sound so much like me, you really do.

Oinker - excellent weight loss. I hope they say good things today.

Firststar - things are looking good........!

Andi - edging closer and closer to that scan date....

Slingmad & d2bm hang in there girls.

No news from me - we are having massive financial stresses at home so although ovulation is approaching we are both a bit freaked out by our day to day lives to really feel in the mood. (We have managed though..)

oinker · 17/10/2006 10:50

Bad sign.......I'm on line

They cancelled my effin appointment.

There is a cordon around the hospital because of a threat of a gas explosion... Some idiot started a fire or soemthign near to them and the rest is history !!!!

The cordon will not be lifted until at least 5pm. Hospital have said they will call in the next couple of days to re arrange appointment.

i had to get myself into work otherwise I would have made myself sick at home... My eyes are so sore from crying
I was so looking forward to this appointment..

rubles · 17/10/2006 11:04

Oh bollocks, Oinker. Bollocks, bollocks, and triple bollocks. How f*ing annoying for you.

typhoonsmum · 17/10/2006 11:17

Hi I'm back again. The nerotic one. Sorry to hear your Af showed Janus. Hows things with you Firststar.
Af not due for 10 days yet but I've had a niggle in stomach for nearly a week. (Bloody annoying) I'm getting myself worked up already. I'll be a right state by next Thursday.

edie123 · 17/10/2006 11:19

Andi I think im CD15-not concentrating but just scanned through my posts on here and did a count! (It's like a diary isn't it?!)

Bit worried though as haven't had any of the right CM so scared that im not going to ov this month. Surely it's a bit late now?!

Any advice anyone?

Firststar-We have been doing it every other day at least but im worried about not ov at all as I know that can happen-but how common is it?

rubles · 17/10/2006 12:03

Edie, don't worry yet, CD15 isn't too late for ov, it really isn't. Do you know if you normally get much CM? Do you know when you have ovulated in the past? I don't know how common it is for normally ovulatory women to have an anovulatory cycle. I know it happens, but there is no reason yet to think it is going to happen for you this cycle.

Typhoonsmum - I had that last month, I hope it means something good for you.

Now, everyone sounds far too stressed on here at the moment. Now lets all take a deep breath in and count 1-2-3...and breathe out...1-2-3...

edie123 · 17/10/2006 12:08

Think it usually happens at around cd12. Yes usually get the right CM but this month don't have much-don't know if it's to do with mc or not. Thanks for advice!
