You don't have to apologise for the rant. I know exactly what you mean about pg people-I still think for me that part is going to take the longest to heal-however I did babysit my god daughter yesterday and it was great, but pg people-soooo difficult!

Babyfettle, I've had a blub today too. Two pregnancies were announced today (via email thankfully) and I just couldn't hold it back. It does seem like it is so easy for everyone else - why not me?
Oh, you don't need to worry about missing me, I really don't think I'll be going anywhere soon. (But it was very nice of you to say that). I feel fairly convinced AF will be here tomorrow or the day after, I really don't feel positive for myself.

Rubles, I so hope this is your month. I know just what you mean, I had a friend tell me this week she was pregnant, I was surprised how delighted I felt for her at the time but a few hours later I was blubbing too. It is soooo hard. Thinking of you x

Still getting them on and off firststar. This morning I thought my CM looked a darker yellow, which I don't think is a good sign - I really am expecting spotting any moment now. I have the sanitary protection ready and waiting...sigh.

Got everything crossed for you Rubles.

I had my nuchal scan today. Everything was normal, however based on just my age and the nuchal fold (2.7mm) my risk of downs is 1:33. Since everything else is normal and this only means a 3% chance of downs, (and since with my history I don't really want an invasive test unless I have to), I think we might wait until the 20 week scan.

Hi Rubles think i am in the same boat as you -I think af is on it's way, but not sure, have had niggly AF like pains, but i also had these when i was preg in June, I bought the biggest load of tampons and pads because it felt like a really heavy period was comming and then it never happened.

I was going to be all cool and calm this month, but now i'm like what ever is happening just hurry up!!!
But yes like babbyf i'm terrified too, so terrified of going through it again that i know I didn't do as much as i could of this month for that reason, but now also feeling regretful too, What a mixed bag of lollies i am and the new emotion

JUICYLUCY - I shall send you an email from my work address as I can't get in to hotmail at the moment. I've finally got through to some helpful people at Barts and have found out that I have an appointment booked for December 7th with a Dr Davies. I have since rung that number you mentioned, to ask about whether it would be possible to take your appointment if you cancelled it, and they said it would depend on what clinic you were under and what your consultant's name was - but in theory it would be possible.
Do you know that information?
I'll send you and email on this as well to see which gets to you first.

It was funny, she asked me your name and after having described you as 'a friend' I had to say I wasn't sure what your name was - I can remember your christian name but not your surname. It would have been funny if I had said I only know you as Juicy Lucy the Second.

HI all,

Mind if i join your thread. I had a missed M/c in August and had ERPC on 22nd. We started TTC again straight after mc although part of me is desperate to be pregnant again the other half of me is terrified at the thought. The first 12 weeks always seems like an eternity and I thought I was there last time having got to 11wks when MC was diagnosed. I have been charting temps etc this month just to try and feel a bit more in control of my body. Have fingers crossed for bfp's for everyone here.

Rubles - LOL at telling St Mary's your friend was called "JuicyLucy" - I know you didn't, but still made me laugh ! I do hope you get your appointment as soon as possible, if not your BPF before then!

welcome stretchmarks - sorry about your loss. Fingers-crossed your time with us will be short !

Hope you're all ok, everyone else - there are so many of us, I apologise for not mentioning you all by name. I don't know how some of you do it and keep on top of everything - tempting to have a list by the computer of what everyone is up to and what stage they are at - but I think that would be definitely very obsessive!!

I'm feeling a bit better today, but absolutely shattered. I'll be so glad to get DH back and have an extra pair of hands around the place. As well as the obvious TTC ability! STill not received my "taking charge of your fertility book", but as soon as that comes, I'll be reading like mad making sure all is ready for DH's return!!

Thanks for the tips on the OPK's, seems I do have the more sensitive type so will wait for the dark line.

Glad all is well with the bumpy ones amongst us.

Stretchmarks, know what you mean about the 50/50 inner turmoil, I want to be pregnant but really dont want another mc. Its leaving me depressed and tbh if we carry on as we are (me & DH) getting pregnant isnt likely unless I become the reincarnation of the virgin mary!

Just a quick note to remind you all that starting the 9th October 2006 is Baby loss awareness week.

This is such a sad time for us all.

On a positive note. It is very comforting to know that we have each others support and that there are so many sucess stories from the TTC after m/c thread.
