Hi Girls, back from my weekend away.

Started spotting dark brown blood after the funeral. What an all in all crap day that turned into.

Spotted Thurs-Sat and started again yesterday. Still the same.

Have had some minor cramping. I think I'll call the doctor this afternoon and see if I can get an appointment at the EPU tomorrow.

Oh crap....

andi0411 · 03/10/2006 15:42

Firstly Juicy- I am so sorry to hear of the bleeding- it could be nothing - you've read all the threads on bleeding and spotting etc...but still I know your worry- let us know how you get on at the docs...[hugs]

Edie- i am taking it easier- i work from home( accountant) and am having a lie in on a morning instead of starting at 7am- got thoses vits today and started on them.I think my feeling unwell is more a mental state- every twinge/ knicker checking, etc etc ..drives you nuts , but i am chilling more- plenty of me time for a change !!
Hows you? Did the watery blood stop? Did you say that the first day of bleeding could be counted as cd1- if so where are you now?

Slingmad- good luck with your ov this month...you sound like you've got it all covered... plenty of bd'ing
xx

Janus · 03/10/2006 15:46

Juicy, am thinking of you, maybe it's your body stressing with all that you have had to deal with and things will settle down again now you are home? Fingers crossed for you x

rubles · 03/10/2006 16:06

Juicylucy,

God what a crap day that must have been.
You know that it might not be bad - the cramps and the dark brown blood can all be a normal sign of early pregnancy, as well you know, no doubt.

Have you got through to your doctor? Please take it easy now. You must be very stressed, what with the funeral, the travelling as well as worrying about your pregnancy on top of all that - none of that can help, so could you take a couple of days off work and just lie down?

Juicylucythe2nd · 03/10/2006 17:00

Have got an appointment tonight at 5.50pm so will see what the doctor says.

Fingers crossed for me girls.xx

babyfettle · 03/10/2006 19:07

JuicyLucy2nd - I've everything crossed for you - you need some good news at the moment. I hope the doctor was able to reassure you? {{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}

Hope everyone else is ok - sorry not got long to "chat" at the moment - love and hugs to all.

x

andi0411 · 03/10/2006 20:20

Juicy... I hope everything went ok. I'm thinking/ hoping your gp said go to the epu tomorrow and have a scan. Hope you're ok[hugs]]]]]]

minx69 · 04/10/2006 00:35

Juicy, I can only 2nd what Andi said and hope all was ok for you at the scan.

Question for those using OPK's.
Im on CD9 but yesterday and today Ive had feint line on OPK.
I suspect I ov quite early anyways (fell on CD8 with DD) but tis first time Ive used OPK's and Im not sure if Im reading them right???

Janus · 04/10/2006 08:15

minx69, I think every time I've tested I have a faint line but when you surge it goes very dark, at least as dark as the control line, if not darker. I'm not sure why I/you get a faint line at other times, perhaps it's normal? I could definitely notice the difference though, hth.

rubles · 04/10/2006 09:05

minx - in my experience it has depended on what brand of opk I have used. Some show a faint line all the time, but the line for these goes extremely dark when I get the surge, others are less sensitive and don't show a line at all until the surge, but then it only just goes as dark as the control line. Maybe you are using a more sensitive brand?

edie123 · 04/10/2006 09:07

Juicy-Really hope you GP reassured you/sent you for scan? Any news?

Minx-I have nearly always seen a faint line with OPK-but as Janus said what you are looking out for is a line that is just as dark if not darker than the other line.

Andi-Glad you are able to lie in in the mornings-every bit of rest will help. And good that you got the vits-at least you don't have to worry that your body isn't getting the right stuff. I think I am now officially on my AF. I had heard on here that ERPC blood counts as a period but don't think thats true in my case. This is very much like my usual AF's and there was a gap of a couple of days between post op blood and this starting (tmi sorry). So I am on CD2 then!!! Babysat for my god daughter yesterday-8 weeks old. She is sooo gorgeous and it was lovely so think I am ready mentally to ttc after AF. xx

Slingmad-Yes I have heard that you are extra fertile after mc-lets hope that is true! Good luck xx

Hello to Babyfettle and Rubles

D2BM-My rats used to keep me up with their wheel! Well annoying!!!

rubles · 04/10/2006 09:27

Glad you are feeling positive Edie, and it didn't make you sad to babysit.

Juicy - thinking of you today, don't know what time your appointment is (are you going to the Royal London by the way - I am only too familiar with that place), but hope it is good news. I really think it will be, I have a good feeling about you. xxxxxxxxxxxx

Juicylucythe2nd · 04/10/2006 11:43

Just to let you know that I've just got back from the EPU and everything is ok. There was a heartbeat and I have another scan appointment in 3 weeks, but am delighted at a heartbeat, that ups the odds of a viable pg, doesn't it?

Rubles, will defo be cancelling my appt now. Don't know when the best day to do it is to up your chances of getting it IYSWIM??

Uki · 04/10/2006 11:47

Hi Juicy
I'd also like to send my positive vibes, and have my fingers and toes double crossed for you.

How is evryone else today, you all sound very diligent with ov tests and bding.

I am meant to be doing twice daily bp checks, but i'm hopless, I'm meant to do it at the same times, but only manage to remember here and there, every couple of days. The other day my bp was something like 110/55, i can't work it out as that seems way to low now. Anyway I think I am over the whole testing thing.

I'm on Cd 27 today, but 'woe is me' -not that hopeful will not test till day 35.
What about everyone else???

Uki · 04/10/2006 11:49

Fantastic news juicy, we crossed posted

rubles · 04/10/2006 11:52

JL - hoo-bloody-ray. I knew it...I did, I really did. I had bleeding like that with both my pgs right from the beginning (and I don't think it was related to the m/c as that didn't happen till 9 weeks). I think it might be something I just do - maybe you are the same?

When is the appointment, is it the 11th?

Juicylucythe2nd · 04/10/2006 11:56

Yes, 11th at 16:00.

rubles · 04/10/2006 12:06

Maybe you could advise then. What should the procedure be - should they send me a letter with an appointment time on it, or do they send me a letter and then I ring to make an appointment. I rang the secretary last week and she said she had sent my referral on to the appointments section, but I don't know what'll happen after that. I have just rung the appointments section but it rang out and I was trasferred back to the switchboard. I'll ring again this afternoon to see if that brings any more joy.

Janus · 04/10/2006 12:59

Juicy, fantastic news, I have read too that once you see a heartbeat your odds greatly increase for a successful pg, everything crossed for you.

desperate2bmum · 04/10/2006 14:39

fantastic news JL!!

edie - my rat did have a wheel but i took it away from her because she kept using it as a toilet!

i think i have had a minor breakthrough today....my mind hasnt permanenetly been filled with the thought "i must get pregnant"...could this mean i am actually relaxed about ttc this month?! am just hoping i ov! im pouncing on dp once every 2 days have scrapped the twice aday routine.

babydust to everyone else...who is next to test?

rubles · 04/10/2006 15:11

LOL desperate - I wondered how long the frantic bd-ing would last! Every other day sounds more realistic - you can add in and extra one if you want at the crucial time, but in theory it should cover it.
Maybe you should change your name to 'prettyrelaxedaboutbeingamum'...maybe not.

Juicylucythe2nd · 04/10/2006 15:43

rubles - I got a letter automatically from the GP's referral, but I think judging by your GP's history of referrals going missing I'd be ringing up the secretary too.

Let me know what they say and I'll plan to cancel accordingly (i.e. if they haven't got your referral - wait until you've got the GP to fax a copy etc)

Juicylucythe2nd · 04/10/2006 16:02

after GP's referral

babyfettle · 04/10/2006 20:50

JuicyLucy that's wonderful news So pleased for you - just try and relax now. good they giving you another scan in 3 weeks to keep reassuring you.

Rubles - how you doing? Anymore AF signs, or have they calmed down? I'll miss you as you've been here since I mc back in early Feb, but you so deserve to get your BFP.

I hope everyone is doing well - Edie, Andi, First Star, Oinker, UKi, Janus - I'm sure I forgotten loads of you, but {{{{HUGS}}} to all.

I'm doing ok - not as well as I have been. But then I always knew these last few weeks of DH's time away would be the worst. Started crying at Casulty on Sunday night, when I saw a newborn baby as if it suddenly hit me how much I want another baby and how difficult it seems to be. The thought of finally conceiving again, only to have another mc terrifies me. But then you all no doubt have exactly the same thoughts. I'm afraid I'm going through a "why do some people seem to fall pg easily, but then complain about everything, when people like us are desperate for a baby and it doesn't seem to happen" stage. I keep reminding myself quite how lucky we are to have DD as she is my life [although she just vomited violently all over her bed and floor!]. And this then makes me feel selfish to comlain, particularly as so many of you on here have been trying unsuccessfully for any children for so long.

Help - I'm wallowing in self-pity - ignore me. Just writing this makes me feel better.
