Come on Andi we are dying here!!

Thanks everyone who said Hi and stuff. Can't wait to start ttc again! xx

edie123 · 26/09/2006 16:01

D2BM

Sorry should have said hi before! Sorry about your AF, it's wierd with it being such a disappointment but then so positive as it's a whole other opportunity for next month!

How is you rat? xx

Juicylucythe2nd · 26/09/2006 16:04

Rubles, my appt is 11th Oct at 16:00, I'm waiting until next week to cancel it (in case), but if you email your mob no (amm1967 at yahoo dot com) I'll text you the minute I cancel it so you can try and sneak in.
The tel no for the clinic I use is 020 76017176. There are so many no.s there and some are constantly engaged while others just ring and ring.
Hope we can buck the system

rubles · 26/09/2006 16:17

Juicylucy we have a plan! It would be so satisfying to beat the system.

desperate2bmum · 26/09/2006 16:33

hiya edie
sorry to hear of all your troubles...lets hope you can start bding soon!
i knew a/f would arrive as i didnt ovulate last month. rat is fine she sleeps a lot but she is only a bubba so should expect that.
how long did it take to conceive before?
x

edie123 · 26/09/2006 16:49

Bless her. I used to keep rats but they were all male.

Took me 3 months so not long at all. So scared it's gonna take me ages this time...

Janus · 26/09/2006 18:03

Rubles, sorry I didn't understand quite how useless your GP is, if they don't understand the results properly how the hell are they meant to explain? You'd think they'd find out exactly what they meant wouldn't you?
On the positive, at least they've started the referral process. I sometimes think that at least if I found out I had something wrong then it could be 'fixed' rather than aimlessly going on each month hoping that month would be 'the month'.
Find it amazing you have to book an appt for your husband's test too. With our area my partner just has to do the deed and then get it to the lab in the hospital within the hour, any time during office hours (and he hasn't even managed that, lol!!). Thought that would be universal. Are you going private?
Haven't had the right wrist needle yet! Had one in the hands, belly, knees and feet. I felt like I'd had a glass of champagne afterwards, forgot that lovely feeling!

andi0411 · 26/09/2006 18:38

Hi ladies - well the waitings over - i have been out on the road today with work and my tests were waiting for me when I got home.

BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3 mths since my last mc- it normally takes me 10 ish months to 'drop on' .
Very scared - the reality has hit me that I might have to go through that hell again, but 4th time lucky eh? This happened last time I got my fertility appt- I fell pg andcancelled it so now I'm just going to re-schedule(just in case).

I daren't leave here until I get a heart beat- too worried to ever, ever hope I may get a baby out of this.
I really 'knew' this month. I felt different, blimey I'm worried.

Sticky stuff and lots of luck to everyone. xx

Janus · 26/09/2006 18:43

Andiiiiiiiiiii, well done!!! Congratulations, try and enjoy the pregnancy, take your folic acid and relax whenever you can! So, so chuffed for you and everything crossed!

andi0411 · 26/09/2006 18:48

Janus thankyou so much...going to cut back my work load and relax more. feel like I've been on the folic acid for yrs!!! lol.

But thanks truely. x

edie123 · 26/09/2006 19:30

Well done!!!!!!!!! So pleased and so jealous!!!

Good luck Im sure it will be fine, right so now for all your tips!!!!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

babyfettle · 26/09/2006 19:34

Andi - Congratulations!!!! Such great news! Lots of sticky positive thoughts for you now!

Rubles, how do you manage to keep on top of everyone on this thread - I'd nearly forgotten about my appointment this morning! I can't believe how useless your GP sounds, everytime you come back from seeing them they seem to have done something incompentent.

I actually cancelled my appointment, as I had to go to work today and DH and I discussed it and decided as we are moving in early Dec due to his job - to be referred in this area was really going to be a waste of time. So as soon as we have moved I'll be down my GP's surgery and going through the whole hog again. I may get my current GP to write me an open letter to my next GP to explain everything, so that they do refer me straight-away. Bit of a gamble, but there seems no point seeing a consultant here and then moving (albeit in the same county) to totally different PCT area. Besides, we did the ultimate in retail therapy yesterday and had an offer accepted on a house . Really excited by it all - probably sealed the fate that my company [currently taking over another company] will relocate to their location, DH will get the job he applied for in Australia and I fall pg the moment he gets back in November!!!

Anyway, DH leaves tomorrow at 6am, but hopefully only for less than 6 weeks. Slightly disappointed that this cycle turned against us so AF has been here all week with us - stopping both TTC and general BD !!

Juicy, so so sorry to read about your nephew on the other thread. Absolutely terrible - I hope you are keeping well on the pg side despite this added stress. You've got to look after yourself to remain strong for your sister. {{{{{{{{{BIG HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Must go - DH having trouble with DD and bedtime.

take care all
x

edie123 · 26/09/2006 19:45

PS Do you take folic acid alone? I take Sanatogen Pre natal which is good xx xx

rubles · 27/09/2006 07:46

Wowwwwwwwwwww! Andi, how did you know?? I have always been sceptical when women have said they knew before they got a postive test, but you really did, didn't you.

Big, big congratulations. Don't leave us though - you're always so kind and sensible, we'd miss you.

What did you do this time that was different? What signs did you have in the 2ww?

Juicylucythe2nd · 27/09/2006 09:00

Andi - that's fantastic. Here's hoping we both have sticky beans this time. xxx

Babyfettle - thanks for your kind thoughts. Funeral tomorrow, so I'll start concentrating on me after that. DH and I are in Dorset for 4 days, so lots of time to sleep and relax.

andi0411 · 27/09/2006 10:33

Thanks everyone for the kind wishes. I actually fainted last night in our bedroom- which was very shocking- I have never fainted before

Juicy- lets hope these ones stick for us -I do hope so!!Thinking of you today with the funeral and all..hugs]

Edie- thanks, don't be jealous- but ikwyom I have been jealous of other women- I'm not lucky person- i don't know what's going to happen with this one[hugs]

Babyfettle I think you're doing the right thing cancelling your appt as you're moving- an open letter from your gp sounds the right way to go.

Rubles -any more news on your appointments? God- some gp's!!!
Rubles- Iknow what you mean about women ' knowing' -I think i knew simply because I've been pg 3 tiimes before. But I felt different in my groin and stomach area -sorry if tmi- instead of that usual build up to af feeling- the pains were similar, but not the same and my boobs were getting hot and hard- god the info we share Just little signs.

The only real things I did diff were to take grapefruit juice from cd 6-14 and to use ov sticks which showed pos cd 14-16. I had bd'd on cd 8-10-12-14-17-19- much more often than we normally do!! Also legs up the wallpaper every time for 30-30 mins. Boring but I read a book!!

hth x

pepperpots · 27/09/2006 10:42

edie123 · 27/09/2006 16:02

Juicy-Good luck today.

Andi-You will be fine! Be positive-Im sure it's hard but try not to worry. Sorry you fainted-had you got out of a hot bath or not eaten for a while? Im sure prob neither as you are trying to be extra healthy but maybe if not them then low BP? Don't leave here!!! I take it CD1 is the first day of your period? Sorry for being thick!!

Banyfettle-Well done with the house-good to have something to get excited about!

Hello everyone else...

edie123 · 27/09/2006 16:02

Juicy-sorry I meant tomorrow xx

andi0411 · 28/09/2006 06:50

Hi Edie- thanks so much to you and all the lovely ladies who've wished me well- still peeling myself off the floor with the shock and hoping all will be well.
CD1 is the first day of your period where the flow is 'proper' -if you know what i meaan- not the spots you sometimes get prior to the full flow- hth xxx
As for the fainting- i think it was getting up too quick from the bed...wiill keep my eye on it but one of the 9 million books i have said women can faint in early pg- something to do with hormones.
Perpperpot thanks so much- whats happening with you at the mo?
Rubles/Janus/D2beM/babyfettle/Nicki/Firststar...are you all ok?

Juicy- thinking of you at this time xx

rubles · 28/09/2006 08:13

Hi all. There are strange goings on for me. I am only 6 dpo today and yesterday I had a teeny bit of spotting/discoloured CM and cramps. I have had some minor cramps this morning so don't know what's going on - if we were a week further on in time I'd say my AF was coming, but I can't believe it would be coming so early this month. It is so unusual, I really don't know what to make of it. My temps were still up this morning so I don't think it'll be coming today but maybe tomorrow - which would make this cycle a 21 day cycle with at luteal phase of 6 days! Weird.
I think my body is packing in.
I have an appointment with my acupuncturist today
so I can't wait to tell her.

edie123 · 28/09/2006 10:02

Andi

Yes fainting can be common can't it? Guess you are gonna have to move more slowly now! Awww I can't imagine how bittersweet it is for you, excited and nervous, scared etc. I really hope everything is ok-goodness knows you deserve it! Feel like I know you really well! How are the cats BTW? Im really excited as I was just reading on an old thread that d&c bleed can be counted as a period-so as soon as it stops (which it has this morning I hope) I can start again and I know where I will be in my cycle! I can't get on with the grapefruit juice! xx

Love to Juicy

Hi Nicki, babyfettle etc

Rubles-sorry to hear about the oddness! Could you be pg? Sorry if way off mark but Im still getting to grips with all this CM, CD and luteal stuff!

xx

minx69 · 28/09/2006 13:13

Room for a newbie in here?

edie123 · 28/09/2006 13:43

Of course minx! I haven't been here long but everyone is lovely and it's my fave thread. Don't tell anyone anywhere else that I said that though!

How are you? xx

minx69 · 28/09/2006 13:52

Thanks for the lovely warm welcome

Trying to get back on the horse after a few setbacks, I had a mc (query ectopic) when I was 21
then another a few months before I fell with DD in 2003.
Started TTC again in april this year but had unconfirmed mc mid may then confirmed mc at the end of july.

Cycle all over the place (ranging from 25 days to 35days) but Im trying not to let it get me down.

On a slightly more positive note, my doc thinks I might have coeliacs (gluten intollerance) and that could be the cause of the mc's so by doing something as simple as cutting out gluten (wheat) things might be on the up!
