Hi Everyone

Hope your all well Congrats Juicy Lucy please stick around.

Well I have been very busy had my 2nd ERPC on Friday and the consultant did it and they think it was successful which is good. The pain though was unbearable I brought myself round from the anesthetic in agony! I'm not sure but I think they forgot to give me pain relief as last time I had just a stomach ache and this time I was screaming in agony and kept throwing up and passing out! The woman next to me who had it done was also fine!!

My mum came round to look after me as DP had to go to work for me and then her wallet was nicked!!. But other than that I am so glad it's all don and over and looking forward to gwtting on and trying again!.

First Star have a fantastic holiday and make sure you get lots of BDing in!

rubles · 25/09/2006 15:48

Oh Nicki how terrible. And your mum having her wallet nicked! Outrageous..

babyfettle · 25/09/2006 17:09

Hi everyone!

Just quickly as I haven't had time to catch up and I must concentrate on DH as he leaves very early Wednesday morning and I have to go back to work tomorrow.

Nicki - I just wanted to let you know that I had to have 2 ERCPs about 7 weeks apart and I was in agony after the 2nd one. So much so they had to give me morphine when I came round from the operation. I really needed the painkillers in the days afterwards - but on the upside I didn't bleed at all, which was complete opposite to the 1st unsuccessful one, where I bled lots, but had no pain.

Take good care of yourself.

big hug to all - I'll catch up with you all either later this evening or on Wed after DH has left again.

X

Nicki10 · 25/09/2006 17:12

Firststar I am so excited for you for the holiday it will be lovely and relaxing! I will have fun in Huddersfield we leave tomorrow at 7:00 .

Edie did you bleed a lot? I have stopped already. Sorry TMI alert but how soon after an ERPC can you start having sex again? Don't want to do any damage but I was hoping to get a quick session in before huddersfield!

Andi I have fingers crossed for you, weeing lots was my first symptom last time and burping!

edie123 · 25/09/2006 17:34

Andi

Oh my god!!! Tell me more!!!!!! How soon before you can test? It must be soon! How cool.

Nicki

I need an answer to that question also! Had mine a week ago today and thinking about bding tonight although still a very small amount of blood. I don't think it would do any harm, anyone else know?!

andi0411 · 25/09/2006 17:38

Edie- lol at your excitement for me [hug]- I am getting a few butterflies...I last felt this way when I fell pg but I must remain strong. Cd28 tomorrow- I may test then as I have 9 million tests coming from e bay.....

As for bd'ing after d and c I think I was told it was safe when there was no blood - risk of infection and all that. i was certainly told that in June after my natural mc- hth....

babyfettle · 25/09/2006 18:20

Hi all - I was told as long as no bleeding safe to BD at any time after ERCP. There is a risk of infection etc if BD while still bleeding. HTH

Fingers crossed Andi - take care

edie123 · 25/09/2006 18:31

Thats good then should be quite soon as bleeding nearly at an end, its very much like AF.

Andi-I bet you are! I know you won't wanna get hopes up, too excited etc but I guess that's gonna happen whatever you do! Can't wait to hear whether it is + and if it is, you can share your tips!! [[hugs]]

xx xx

andi0411 · 25/09/2006 22:26

Hi all- thanks for th pos vibes Babyfettle and Edie- I've just got a good feeling. can't describe it- call it intuition, but I've learnt caution in all these months/years- so I'll wait. Can I say MY BOOBS ARE KILLING ME!!! There- feel better now.

Edie- hope bleeding stops soon hon ,so 'action' can recommence

Hows everyone else?

pepperpots · 26/09/2006 08:07

So andi did you test???? I'm on tenterhooks

rubles · 26/09/2006 08:08

Andi, did your tests come? Have you tested?

Juicylucythe2nd · 26/09/2006 08:46

Andi - dying to know if you've tested. You sound like you've got more symptoms than me !

Janus · 26/09/2006 10:20

Nicki, what a horrible experience, hope you stop bleeding soon.
Edie, hope you are on the mend, I do remember having to 'un-tell' everyone and in the end I sometimes felt more bad for the person I had to tell.
Andi, how exciting, we are all waiting for your news, wishing you that BFP, and, as said, then you can tell us all your tips!
Am off for some acupuncture today although my partner is only around for one day when I'm vaguely fertile so hoping for a miracle again!

oops!

rubles · 26/09/2006 13:45

I have been to the doctor this morning to get blood test results. It turns out she has referred me to the fertility clinic so I am waiting to hear from them (again - this has happened before a couple of months ago but the referral got lost).
It looks like my FSH is slightly high (which I think means a 'declining' ovarian reserve) and my progesterone for last month was below the NHS range but I think still means I may have ovulated. The doctor was pretty useless and couldn't give me any information - I might as well have been sent the results in the post. She gave me a print out of the results and I have just spent a couple of hours on the internet looking at endocrinology sites....you know what they say about a little bit of information being a dangerous thing.....
Basically this has sent me into a bit of a whirl and I am now in a panic that time is running out.

Janus, it is ages since we have heard from you - how you doing?

Babyfettle - how did your appointment go today?

Edie - how you doing now?

Hugs to everyone else - pepperpots, Andi, Chocolatepeanut, Oinker, Uki, desperate2b, babymad4num3, juicylucy2.

Janus · 26/09/2006 14:16

Rubles, what a useless GP. They are sometimes so insensitive, they should have explained it as black and white as possible. I have had 2 blood tests, both coming back 'normal' but the nurse taking them didn't even know which test she was doing so i am none the wiser, whatever I had was normal! I have to go to a separate hospital to have the ovulation blood test which I have yet to do, bit blase as did those sticks for a while and they showed that I was ovulating. Still waiting for my partner to get his sperm tested, he has loads of stuff going on at work and it never seems to be convenient, which is stlightly annoying.
I have just literally stepped in the door from acupuncture. She said that the last lady she treated had had one round of IVF and was on a break and tried her 3 times (you go once a week or fortnight) and fell pregnant! I am on this plan of action at the moment! It's actually remarkably relaxing and I fell asleep with all the needles sticking out of me! Will let you know how it goes. She also said it can be used for low sperm count, amazing.
Maybe you could ring the GP (I can make telephone appointments) and get them to go over the results again. I always go a bit glazed when given results and I think it's quite common to come away and think of loads of questions afterwards. They should be able to help??
Juicy, so sorry about your news, hope you are all getting through this somehow.

rubles · 26/09/2006 14:23

No Janus, she didn't answer my questions because she didn't know. They are generally quite useless, I just thank God for MN, because I wouldn't have a clue about all the hormones if it weren't for people's knowledge on here.
I do acupuncture too. I like it, although I never fall asleep. I like chatting to the woman who does it and it is really nice to have someone who is so fascinated by the tiniest details of my menstrual cycle. I have been going for three months now though, so I'm not sure if it is working. I only mainly go now because it is almost like therapy for me. Has she put a needle in your right wrist yet? I hate that one.

Juicylucythe2nd · 26/09/2006 14:25

Thanks Janus. Trying to find the positive in my BFP, think it will all start getting better after the funeral on Thursday.

Rubles at your GP. Having the right support there can make such a difference. Did your DH sort his sperm test out? I just rang the fertility clinic to re-arrange my appt (don't want to cancel in case of you know what), and the next time I can get one is January . Hope yours is sooner than that.

BTW, I had a Reiki treatment this month, don't know if that helped atall, but it was certainly calming. I'm going back for another one tonight. I'd thoroughly recommend it.

rubles · 26/09/2006 14:37

Juicylucy - dp is scheduled in for his sperm test on October 27th, so ages yet. I have been trying to get through to Barts infertility department over the last hour or so, with no joy. Maybe if I get through I can take your place?? I REALLY don't want to wait until January.

desperate2bmum · 26/09/2006 15:10
