Hi ladies..

Uki thanks so much for the kind words- nice to hear from both you and Babyfettle this w'end. Very kind.

Babyfettle- hope you're dh makes it home this w'end- keeping my fingers crossed for you love. How long were your cycles at their longest? If you have long cycles do you still ov around the same time each month or can it vary?

I have only ever been 28-32 days and have only just started monitoring temps this month- now that takes some time and effort doesn't it? Quite enjoying putting more 'science' into my ttc- b4 my consultants appt in Oct. By science I mean temping/ cm monitoring/ grapefruit juice/ epo etc etc Makes me feel like I'M doing something b4 the 'experts' get their mitts on my bits!!.

Ladies I had a lovely day with dp today- we went to the coast for a few hours and had fish and chips, walk on the beach, play on the slot machines- felt like a kid again and loved it!!! We spoke about our lost babies and for the first time I didn't cry- i just felt content. What will be will be and I hope we all get what we most want in the end.

xx

Hi Andi

Sounds like you had a lovely day today - the weather was beautiful, wasn't it?

My longest cycle was around 65 days, I think, but always been pretty erratic since they started 20 years ago. Been temp tracking for about 6 years, on advice of GP, so that I'd have some idea when to expect AF, even before I was TTC. I've found it was pretty realiable on predicting when AF will occur, but obviously not so good on predicting ov, as the temp rises after the event! Never had huge obvious signs of CM (TMI, I know!), so maybe for November when DH is back again, I should hold my nose and drink copious amounts of grapefruit juice !

Off to swoon at the dishy one from Spooks! Well I can still window-shop while DH is away, can't I?

Hi all, sorry I've not been around. I think the pc at home will be sorted today, but now I'm back at work I can come on more often.

Andi, I hope yesterday was a helpful day for you. Sorry there was hardly anyone around, but it sounded a nice day that you had with your dh.

Babyfettle - I am really pleased to read that you haven't ovulated yet - it would be great if it happened this week, wouldn't it. I hope you have a lovely time with dh today, it must be so strange seeing him again after so long. I hope you are not like me, because whenever I have been separated from dp for a couple of weeks I go a bit weird for the first 24 hours after we are back together because he's in my space.

Hope Nicki was OK this weekend.

I had a lovely weekend because the weather was so perfect so we had a lovely long walk and a doze in a field. Also, I did some really anal organising of the bathroom cupboard/under the stairs cupboard, which involved throwing away a whole load of sh*t that we have accumulated. It was very therapeutic.

Hi everyone

Back from Centerparcs-it was BRILLIANT. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to go away for a week or weekend but can't be arsed with all the travelling. Having my op this afternoon and luckily haven't bled at all at the weekend. Had a gorgeous massage and spa, went horseriding which was interesting! We biked loads and played lots of badminton, also loads of swimming so now feel rather exhausted!! Already planning our next trip there which we hope will be next month. It really distracted me, I think you should all consider it!!

Hope you are all ok, read that it was difficult for those with due dates but well done!!

xx xx xx

Hi All

Edie I'm glad you had a nice weekend it's sounds fantastic, good luck for this afternoon. Will be thinking of you.

I am fine thanks had a bad day yesterday but otherwise fine. The house is done we have new Ikea wardrobes and ended up buying a massive sofa as well which is coming in 2 weeks! I am so excited it amazing have a look on Ikea website it's the tylosand series in bright orange and we have got the large corner one! So excited I can't tell you. It looks really seventies and really fits in with the seventies paper!

Hope your all well, well done for getting through your due dates it must have been hard but it sounds like you had a perfect day Andi.

In theatre, I leave on Monday for 4 weeks so thats why I need it all sorted by then. Also means TTC will be impossible for 4 weeks! Unless it's a quicky in the back of the van while DP is visiting!!

A holiday will be great and give you lots of time for BDing! When you get back my sofa should have arrived . It's amazing what a bit of retail thearapy can do.

Hi
For those who dont know me, I have been ttc since May 05 when I lost my second daughter who was stillborn

Was on pee sticks last week and bding like mad.

Feeling low today as I think the change in seasons have reminded me that time is ticking on and I am still not pg

anyone feeling same today?

Nicki10 · 18/09/2006 15:02

firststar I am a Stage Manager, so in charge of making sure the actors get there on time and know what they are doing and then I cue the lighting and sound. Back of a dusty van is not very appealing but if needs must! I have a doctors appointment today to see if he will refer me to a different hospital that will give me mifepristone.

Chocolatepeanut I am sorry you are feeling low, I have bad days but I am still have way through it so I don't know what the TTC bit is like, I can imagine how hard it is. Stick around on here there are always loads of friendly supportive people.

Seen a cons in June and he wants to see me in Nov and put me on clomid.Theres no reason why i cant get pg.We have had all the tests and there is nothing wrong.

Have been feeling very up and down of late and wonder if hormonal? It tends to happen mid cycle.I feel so desperate to be pg again.

I am trying to relax today. Thanks

Nicki10 · 18/09/2006 15:34

What do you do firststar? Where do you live?

My job is great and I'm lucky that i'm based in London and there's lots of theatre work here but I do miss home when I'm away.

There is a sofa as part of the set!

Hello all -just quickly as I want to go and help DD and DH make a wooden railway set, which he miraculously managed to bring back from the desert!! [DD doesn't need to know I bought it from ELC on Saturday does she?!]

can you tell I'm happy!

So so lovely to see DH - Rubles know what you mean about those first 24 hours, but I think having DD has made a big difference and I'm just so happy to see her so excited to see him again.

On the TTC front - temp was up this morning, frustratingly. We'll do the deed tonight, I've no doubt, but not holding out much hope for successful egg meet sperm timing!! TMI I know, but I think you all understand.

Love and hugs to all - I'm so happy to see him home safely that TTC doesn't seem so important at this precise second for us, but I hope you all stay positive.

Take care
x

Hi ladies...just tried to catch up on the thread- it moves so faaastttt! Couldn't even spare 2 secs today for my MN time-ggggrrrr- too much work on and having house done up so a tad stressed tonight!!!

ChocPeanut- I am so sorry about your dd last May- god how devastating. I do feel the same way that you do- that overwhelming anxiety that it might not happen- although, like you, I know I can get pg- it's just keeping it. Also I same to take ages to get pg, could you not get an earlier appt for clomid?

Firststar- I wish I was gong on hol soon- I love Greece- have a fab time - plenty of sunny bd'ing for you my girl!!

Rubles- i get that anal organising bug- cupboards etc are cleaned out, crap thrown away- its like I clean my mind at the same time- how sad am I?

Edie- nice to see you back and Centreparcs sounded cracking- I want to go....now!!! Did you have any trouble on the bleeding front- or was it fine? Hope so.

Babyfettle- your dh is home -aaahhhhh. Thats lovely- plenty of bd'ing for you too then.

Nicki- your touring sounds fab- are you awat from your dh often, does he come to see you?

Talk soon- oh yes- I'm cd 20 today and feeling pos. Have relaxed this month prob as I know I have cons appointment in Oct- feeling strangely optimistic. xx
