I could have got clomid months ago but am reluctant to take it as fear a multiple birth.I am 39 so high risk anyway and suffer from hyperemsis when pg so a double pg would be unbearable as far as the sickness goes.

edie123 · 19/09/2006 08:47

Andi, Nicki, Firststar, Rubles and others,

Yeah Centerparcs was THE BEST! Im so sad now im home!! No Andi I didn't bleed at all over weekend although kept a close check on it!

Had D&C yesterday which luckily was sucessful. Feel fine now and for the first time in ages my boobs aint sore which is nice!

Going to ttc ASAP, have NO CLUE when im ov or anything but to be honest that is probably for the best as hopefully it can be a bit more relaxed and spontaneous.

How is everyone today? Andi-you must go to CP you would love it and it's worth every penny

Edie I'm so glad it went well and you are feeling ok.

Andi yes it does mean I am away from my DP quiet a lot when I'm on tour but he is the best and does suprise visits and comes up to see me .

Babyfettle it is lovely to see your so happy and that DH is back with you both. LOL about the train set!.

Well I have my 2nd scan tomorrow and then they will decide what they want to do. Doctor yesterday was useless and didn't listen to a thing we were saying. He kept saying that if I wasn't bleeding it was successful and we'd see that on the scan even when we had told him we have had the scan and have seen the sac completely intact. DP got V cross that he wasn't listening and we went away no better than when we started!.

Nicki

Had anymore thoughts about going private and having the tablets? Did they give them to you before the d and c? Yesterday they gave me two tablets (misoprostol) to use internally, like pessaries. They make the op easier, perhaps if you had had them prior to the op it would have been better, I dunno.

Nicki10 · 19/09/2006 10:49

Edie I did have one of those before my op as well, I'm going to speak to the consultant tomorrow and see what she says about the tablet option. I'm just going to say that were not leaving until I see the consultant as last time they said she was to busy and decided for me what to do. This time I'm going to get cross if they don't get the consultant down.

Are you still bleeding Edie? I know what you mean as this has gone on for so long I am just get on with TTC again now and want all this done with. Especially before the tour.

Uki · 19/09/2006 10:54

mORNING EVERYONE

Niki-Your doc sounds crap, sorry but wouldn't they try a blood or urine test to check hcg levels or something, I hope the scan at least shows whats happening, It probably is the best method to check

Just a quick hello.

Nicki - at the doctors. I am always having run-ins with my doctors so just reading about your situation makes me want to get up and start fighting.

Edie - let the ttc begin.

andi0411 · 19/09/2006 13:45

Afternoon all...

Edie- so glad there was no bleeding etc over w'end- what a relief. Glad also that the d and c is over(iykwim)- good luck to you with the pos/ relaxed attitude- i think it's how I got pg last time after ttc for ages...

Nicki- don't talk to me about docs!!!!- it's like every aspect of life i guess there's good and bad- but when it's feelings and emotions s'times it's too much to stand when you get an insensitive /uncaring one- good luck re: scan tomorrow hon.

We'll miss you Firststar- but a hol does you the world of good...

Uki- whats happening with you at the mo?

ChocPea and Rubles- hi!!!

Well i'm cd 21 so it's getting close- i really have no idea this month- keep 'em crossed for me pls!!!

edie123 · 19/09/2006 18:28

Hi Andi

Just posted a thing on the travel thread about Centerparcs-someone is looking for a weekend break. That place should pay me for bloody advertising the amount ive been harping on about it!

How are you?

Yeah im glad op is over and done with and I feel surprisingly well! Saw GP today for first time since it all happened and he was really nice as usual.

Ive decided to drop a shift a week at work-bit worried about the money but think it will do the ttc good and also the actual pregnancy bit. It's quite a stressful place. What do you do? Im a mental health nurse.

What are you having done to the house?

Where has JuicyLucy gone?

xx xx

oinker · 20/09/2006 09:09

))))))))))))))))))))HUGS((((((((((((((((((((((

Hope you are all keeping well.

I have sort of caught up on the thread.

I am a little more hopeful and losing weight steadily. I have lost 12 pounds in 4 weeks. I have until the 17th October and am hopeful that I will do it.

Good luck

Juicylucy.........I like it

rubles · 20/09/2006 09:26

Oinker, I was wondering where you were. 12 pounds sounds like a really good, healthy rate of weight loss. Well done. If you continue at that rate you could have another stone off in time.

I think I may ovulate in a couple of days and dp was really ill last night (only a cold). I said 'I guess that means sex is off the cards' and he sniffled away. I actually felt sorry for him. Such bad timing tho'. I doubt he'll feel like it tonight and I am going away tomorrow night, so it's like everything is conspiring against me this month. I just need to try and hold off the ovulation until the weekend if I can....

Men can be such woosies

Now lets think about this.......

What would he do if the tables were turned?

Would he pester you or leave you alone?

I know what I would do

Rubles - pester him, whatever they may think 'man-flu' is never that bad!!

Oinker, been thinking about you lots - so glad the weight loss is going well.

I'm not staying that hopeful this cycle myself, bad timing all round, but you never know. Just made appointment with GP for Tuesday before DH goes back to discuss referral to fertility clinic and whether going private may be the best option depending on waiting list times.

Anyone heard from Smole? Hope all is going well with her still.

take care all

x

rubles · 20/09/2006 13:14

Hi babyfettle, how's it going with dh? Are you having a lovely time?

I actually think mine is properly ill this time. He is a very typical man in that respect and does suffer from 'man-flu' so I normally just ignore him, but like I said, I actually feel sorry for him this time. However, I have just had a coded telephone conversation with him from my desk and he said he wouldn't let the side down and would do whatever was required....all very romantic stuff .

Yes, where is Smole? No news must be good news there. I think she must be approaching 10 weeks, am I right?
I wish I was approaching 10 weeks....[sigh]

Glad to hear he's prepared to soldier on, Rubles!! It's not as if you are asking him to run a marathon!

It is good to have DH home - DD won't let him out of her sight though. I was overly emotional and very grumpy this morning, but then discovered what I assume must be AF arrived this afternoon, which will explain the mood swings. Talk about really bad timing - particularly as my temps didn't seem to go up until this weekend. definitely think my hormones are all over the place, regardless of whether the sonographer thought my PCOS had cleared when she scanned me earlier this year after the mc.

Anyway, trying to not to think about it too much or take too personally the comment by DH (I'm sure meant as a joke) when he saw my stomach and asked how pregnant I was ! I have to remember how hard it is for him to adjust to being home again - it must be pretty surreal being back only for a week and realising how much has changed in his absence - particularly DD, who will be 2.5 next week and has changed totally in the past 12 weeks. Anyway, this isn't the thread for this...

He's also banned me from MN while he is home, so I'll either have to sneak on, like now while he is putting DD to bed, or else report back next week once he's gone again!

Take care all
Where's the next BFP coming from?

clumsy · 20/09/2006 20:02

hey all just read through messages on this board and thought i/d say hi!!! planning to start ttc after m'c in early aug after all clear from docs scared to death but i'm sure that's normal so here's to the title of the thread x

Uki · 21/09/2006 00:52

Hi All
Hi Clumsy, welcome.

Andi-Thanks for asking? Are u keeping up with everyone again??? re:what's happening with me,

Well was unsure weather to try or not this month but have bd CD11 &12 so far. I have a big job comming up in November and i'm not sure if i want to be preg for it as it will be stressful and don't want that added to my rate of m/c's.
So maybee i will leave it at that, not sure.

Hope everything turned out Niki {hugs}

Hi Again Oinker and everyone else.

Hi all, haven't checked in for a while. AF arrived 4 days late and I got all excited for a while and then felt so sad when it arrived. Sometimes think your body is having a laugh at your expense!
Rubles, any more tests for you?
Also, do any of you take any supplements or your partners? Just started taking a multi-vitamin myself and will get partner to do the same for the zinc, etc. Also, I'm starting acupuncture next week, will let you know if any success!
