I started this same thread in December and was lucky enough (after 7 months!) to get pregnant with our first. Unfortunately I had a mc just before Christmas at 5 weeks. Cycle was a bit erratic at the start but looks like I ovulated at my normal time and BBT has risen. I'm almost certain I won't be lucky enough to get pregnant straight away after mc but I thought starting a thread like last time might help!!

Thats me on my 2ww week! Opk positive yesterday! 1dpo :) ahh so exciting this time in 2 weeks i shall hopefully be seeing a BFP!!!! Grin

SwedeAway · 04/02/2014 05:28

Babytinks - that's great news! Welcome to the 2ww!

So my 2ww is officially coming to an end today as AF was due today. At least I think this is the case but it is hard to know given that this is my first cycle after my mc and I Ov'd 4 days later than usual. Still, I have calculated 14 days from when I Ov'd as that is usually how long my cycle is and the 14th day is today.

Was considering POAS this morning but decided against it for various reasons. Think I may hold out until tomorrow, just to make sure as I am still not completely certain how this WTF cycle would work.

Anyway, anyone ready to POAS???

EnglishGirlAbroad · 04/02/2014 08:08

Why why why did I poas! Bfn! Massive fail! Wish i'd just waited til Friday. Think I'm going to get a visit from AF regardless.

Baxter2014 · 04/02/2014 08:11

Still no AF for me and boobs are still hurting. Going to try and hold off POAS until I am at least a week late Smile

Tutti · 04/02/2014 08:33

Baxter that sounds promising!!

swedeaway..hope af soesn't come

Babystinks ..fingers crossed

everyone else good luck....sorry am tired got a poorly boy here and so had no sleep....

I am still feeling rubbish ...emotionally more than physically I think....I just want this week over with....I cried at work yesterdayBlush

I just feel like af is coming ...but have felt like that since 4dpo....trouble is I have no idea when af is due...according to ff it started out as the 6 but then somehow it changed to the 9???

I also did a test mid morning yesterday and of course it was a bfn...but it was a poundland cheapy and mid morning wee...I knew it would be bfn but I just felt soo weepy [for about a week Hmm ]

Its totally rubbish......we need some good news ..all of us ....so fingers crossed for all of us ...xxxx

Aqua78 · 04/02/2014 11:41

Baxter, Tutti, Swedeaway, English and Tigger, really hoping for your BFPs this week!! Keep us informed :-)

Angelbabe, you still around? I think you, Babytinks and I are in the same 2ww if you decided to try again this month...?

Babytinks, I know it's ridiculous but I'm already symptom spotting, at only 2dpo!! Stupid I know. Really want that BFP...

babytinks89 · 04/02/2014 12:40

Haha so am i aqua! 2dpo now for me too! Im just waiting for the sore boobs and all that jazz!
Iv had a bit lower cramps though last night and today... But nothing major
1 week on sunday and we can test wooo!

SwedeAway · 04/02/2014 15:27

I will POAS tomorrow morning. No more willpower left and I need to know. AF was due today I think but no show yet.

Baxter2014 · 04/02/2014 17:11

OMG Swede good luck!!! I am going to do it on Saturday morning provided AF hasn't arrived!

Tutti · 04/02/2014 19:14

Swedeaway ... I have everything crossed for you xxxx

tigger8 · 04/02/2014 19:20

Hmmmm, think the witch is on her way! Slight spotting no less....this uninvited guest can .... off!!!! Know for definite tomorrow. Although I did have one brief moment today, when I watched my 18 month old being put under general anesthetic, and go all floppy like a rag doll for a hernia op, when I questioned if I could go through 'all this' again. However, that was a brief moment and, truth is, nothing has made me quite so happy as being a mum. Loved being a teacher but love being a mum more, although even straight from blinkin' trying to conceive this motherhood malarkey is soooo painful!!!

babytinks89 · 04/02/2014 20:18

Oh good luck swedeaway!!!
My fingers and toes are crossed xxx

Aqua78 · 04/02/2014 21:28

Really hopeful for you Swedeaway, come on BFP!

Tigger, hope your little one is recovering well. I have a 9 month old and I worry about her health and happiness every day. It certainly is a challenge as well as a great privilege to be a mummy. I'm a teacher too and really not looking forward to going back to work in a few weeks, being a mummy is far more important to me now.

Baxter2014 · 05/02/2014 10:12

Any news swede

I am sooooooo gassy today I am burping for England Shock.

I thought maybe we could all just post reminding us at what stage we are at....
so here we go:

Baxter (32) - TTC (why hasn't my keyboard got a hashtag key??) 1 for 9 months. 1MC at 5wks +4 in Dec. Currently on 2nd cycle post MC and Af is currently 4 days late.

Hope you are ok tigger?

tigger8 · 05/02/2014 12:46

Ah, thanks Baxter.....nothing (yet) today. Stats: 41 (but don't feel it). MC end Dec. 10 days late!

SwedeAway · 05/02/2014 12:49

Hello all, well I got my bfp this morning! Although very excited, I am also petrified that something will go wrong again. Have just picked up some hormone tablets prescribed by my gyno which should help against mc happening again.

Just got confirmation with digi which said 2-3 weeks pg.

tigger8 · 05/02/2014 12:49

First cycle since MC at 5wks. Aqua....I didn't return to work as I didn't want to leave baby.....financially f....d, but tightened belts and I do intervention classes at local high school at the weekend.

tigger8 · 05/02/2014 12:50

Excellent news Swede.....brilliant!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 05/02/2014 15:02

Great news swede!

Baxter2014 · 05/02/2014 15:15

OMG Swede Mega congratulations!!!!!

Hopefully I will be joining you when I test on Sat (still no AF for me) followed by everyone else very soon. Grin Grin Grin

Aqua78 · 05/02/2014 15:47

Oh my goodness!!! Swede that's such great news!! Congratulations and praying it all goes well.

My stats: Aqua (35) ttc #2, mc 18th Jan at 6wks+3, BFP/AF due 16th Feb

Tigger, our plan was I'd go back to work and go on 2nd maternity leave in Sep, then maybe do some supply while babies are young. Of course mc wasn't in the plan, so not sure how we'll figure out the timing once we're pregnant, but only want to go back for the Summer Term basically... full time :-(

babytinks89 · 05/02/2014 17:04

Ahhh so happy for you swede!!!
I need to book in with my doctor actually and hope i can get something too as so scared of mc again :(

Tutti · 05/02/2014 19:56

SmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSwede brilliant news SmileSmileSmilesoo happy for you xxxx

Tutti · 05/02/2014 20:03

Oh right ... Stats ....
40 years old
Was not ttc but found at pregnant 28 dec but miscarried 9 jan
So in the wtf cycle apparently due af tomorrow ... But then fertility friend changed it halfway through cycle to 9
But have never had cycles that long

So we will see

I have had cramps since 4dpo .... And am just going nuts hoping I will get a bfp!!!!!

tigger8 · 05/02/2014 23:00

All right ladies, now I know why this is called the WTF period. I caN't keep count of the amount of times I have said this, usually every time I go to the loo. Is CD one definitely the first day of bleeding? If so, I am 10 days late.....never been this late before but, then, never had a miscarriage. I feel a big sickly and back achey....kinda periody, but then, kinda not. WTF? ........WTF?..........too scared to POAS.......yet.
