So, here it is, Part 4! May it bring lots of BFP's for those of us still waiting and may it bring happy healthy pregnancies for those who are fabulously pregnant.

oh Metalhead, what a rubbish week. Sympathy, hugs and Brew from me! Hope DD doesn't suffer too much with the itching.

STILL no AF here... 3 days late now. Wondering whether I should POAS again tomorrow now. Bit Confused as I was so convinced I wasn't pg that I enjoyed quite a few Wine yesterday with my friends...

HungryHorace · 08/02/2014 12:23

POAS, Guinness! :-) The law of sod says wine = BFP. Baby would be fine though (I was hammered the day before my BFP with DD as a test that day was BFN!).

CallingAllEngels · 08/02/2014 14:38

Sad just headed out for an hour at local shopping centre to run some errands, browse and clear my head (ds is being really clingy and it's driving me slightly potty). As I walked up stairs from car park bumped into a friend of DH who straight away asked me if I "had soemthing to tell him" while pointedly looking at my stomach.

FFS! What is wrong with people? Now sitting home feeling chubby ( and most definitely not pg). Needless to say was not really in the mood for relaxed wander round shops after that comment.

morerummorefun · 08/02/2014 15:03

calling how rude! I hope you put him in hs place!
zara congratulations! 2nd bfp this weekGrin
metal my dd had chixken pox before Christmas and I was about 14ish weeks as long as you have had them you will be fine and its only ever a problem in the last few weeks of pregnancy xx jope you dd is ok xx

guinnessgirl · 08/02/2014 18:00

oh Calling, how thoughtless of him. People can be so rude without even realising! Brew hugs

CallingAllEngels · 08/02/2014 18:46

I was so taken aback that I just said "No" then let him ramble on about his girlfriend who he's known for 6 months who is now pregnant

Have added him to my shitlist of people who have asked me if I'm pg (always when I'm trying to get pg and never when I actually am!).

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 08/02/2014 21:20

Arr Engels, the cheek of him! Hope he was mortified. Not nice especially when you are trying to get pg. Not long to go for you now though till you can get back to it Wink
Well girls I finally got my smiley face today!!! I was so happy, did a little dance around the bathroom. Cd16 so quite late, but it's step in the right direction and I am hoping I will get a luteal phase of at least 10 days this cycle. Obviously no AF at all would be even better! Dtd fri morning, and will go again tomorrow morning, as DH is at work all day today, so hopefully we will catch it.
Guiness I definately think POAS in the morning, have you still got some sticks?
Claude hurray for the same cycle days! What day do you usually get a positive on?
Metal hope DD is ok, good to get it out the way before new baby makes it appearance though, hope you are ok too and DH is around to help out! Rubbish about everything breaking on you at once!
Zara congratulations on the bfp!!

guinnessgirl · 08/02/2014 21:58

Gingerbread, hurrah for smiley face! Smile yeah I am totally POASing tomorrow morning. Will update in due course...

morerummorefun · 08/02/2014 22:50

guinness good luck for tomorrow Smile xx

HungryHorace · 08/02/2014 23:11

Yay for the smiley, Gingerbread :-) Isn't it great having that perky face grinning up from the stick? Day before and after has worked for me both times, so good luck!

Can't wait to hear your news tomorrow, Guinness.

guinnessgirl · 09/02/2014 08:41

BFN Angry

CallingAllEngels · 09/02/2014 08:57

Sorry to hear that guiness. But it's not over till AF shows her face. (hugs)

HungryHorace · 09/02/2014 08:57

Oh no, Guinness :-( I'm sorry.

morerummorefun · 09/02/2014 09:16

awh boo guinness xx

guinnessgirl · 09/02/2014 09:38

thanks everyone. I just want AF to hurry up and get on with it now so I can start afresh!

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 09/02/2014 10:56

Ah no sorry Guiness, such an annoying situation to be in. Hope AF shows her face soon for you.
It is great Hungry! Got another one this morning, and dtd this morning so here's hoping it works this month.
How is everyone today? Any exciting plans? The weathers pretty horrid here so think DD and I might just have a lazy day.

HungryHorace · 09/02/2014 11:02

This morning is great, Gingerbread. :-)

Same timings as us, in fact. Good luck.

You're meant to stop testing after you get a smiley, by the way...don't waste the sticks! 2WW from today then.

Engels, forgot to comment before. How rude of the 'friend'. He'd definitely go onto my shit list.

No plans today. Weather is appalling, so we are definitely staying in.

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 09/02/2014 11:10

Excellent decision Hungry!
I know you're meant to stop using them, but the martyr that I am thought I would keep going just incase I keep getting smileys and that would maybe suggest something is up...just trying to figure out my stupid cycles! Am I being ridiculous?? i should stop shouldn't I......
Morerum any more delicious baking today?

morerummorefun · 09/02/2014 11:15

gingerbread I had pancakes maple syrup and crispy bacon this morning (3:30am) not planning on a bake off today ha! ds has done 3 peepees in the potty tiday so we are have a day in the house with no nappy on Grin
so please you got a smiley hope next its a bfp xx

HungryHorace · 09/02/2014 11:17

Do you think you'd have DTD the same if you hadn't been using the smiley tests or is it impossible to know? But yes, you should stop now!

All you can do is count today as being OV day and go from there. If your luteal phase is a bit buggered then maybe make the GP appt? Fx you get your BFP though. :-)

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 09/02/2014 12:27

Ha no way Rum! We also had pancakes and maple syrup, with banana though not bacon (a poor substitute) and it certainly wasn't at 3.30 am!!?? Amazing potty news! You must tell me your secrets - our DDs are the same age aren't they? My DD had a good run of doing poos in the potty around november time, and then hasn't been near it since. We have read so many books to her and tried everything to encourage her Hmm Think I will wait for summer so she can walk around pants-free everywhere and get more of an idea of what happens when she does a wee!!
Hungry not sure, I was wondering that same thing this morning, maybe we have stopped the frequency of sex a bit too early the past few cycles, but we stilltry and dtd a couple times a week until AF is due just to tie up any loose ends. It's nice to be able to target it a bit better though, knowing the smileys are definately showing up a positive. Ok, no more POAS for me for another week or so. I have heard of people getting their bfps with a lp of 8 days or so, so fingers crossed too!
Right, off to battle the crowds at Asda, I'm feeling shepherds pie is needed for dinner tonight....

CallingAllEngels · 09/02/2014 13:40

gingerbread I am also stalling potty training. DS is showing no interest in it. He doesn't even tell us when he's done a poo! but we can sure smell it

Was horrible here this morning but dried up this afternoon so have just been for a 5k run along the canal. Windy but feeling all the better for coearing my head (and makes up for fuckface friend ruining my afternoon yesterday).

Going to have a shower now and then snuggle down with my book (bambi will be making his 3rd appearance since Friday for some guaranteed peace and quiet).

SwedeAway · 09/02/2014 14:29

Hello all, sorry to hear about your bfn Guinness, really keeping fx crossed for you!

The heat is killing me today! It's so humid all I do is walk around sweating, yuk! Decided stupidly to bake bread (trying to keep my mind on other things than pg), not a good idea in the heat.

Re potty training so my dd has been doing peepees on the toilet for about 4 months now and sleeping without a nappy for the past two months. She will however not do the number two on the toilet, absolute refusal. Instead she comes and asks us for a nappy when its time. So she is obviously aware when its due, very frustrating. From next week i am hiding the nappies and if she wants to do a poo it will be toilet or nothing. Will see if this works.

How has everyone's Sunday been? Weather sounds awful!

HungryHorace · 09/02/2014 15:45

Swede, how hot is it there? I don't think I could cope when I'm not pregnant, let alone when I am!

I'm not even showered / dressed yet, so today has been chilled. :-)

DD is getting a wider variety of food now, which is good, and didn't drown herself when using her doidy cup for the first time, so that's an achievement.

SwedeAway · 10/02/2014 04:53

Hungry - it varies a lot but yesterday was around 33 I think which is not too bad but it was the humidity that got to me.

Anyway, back to not feeling pregnant at all. Boobs hurt a lot and have increased in size. Yesterday DD pointed at them and laughed so they must look somewhat different. Otherwise, nothing so of course I am fretting. If I can get through at least this week then that means that I will be further a long than when I mc'd in Dec. Any little milestone seems important now.

Happy Monday to everyone!
