So, here it is, Part 4! May it bring lots of BFP's for those of us still waiting and may it bring happy healthy pregnancies for those who are fabulously pregnant.

donnas1984 · 24/01/2014 12:36

oops dh not dd! Blush

donnas1984 · 24/01/2014 12:42

also does anyone know how to change your username mines is just abit to easy to guess xx

HazyShadeOfWinter · 24/01/2014 12:46

lucy and claude so sorry to hear that Sad Sad, at least you can drink at the party lucy [clutches at straws, probably not helpful]. I hope you both get home and to DH/DC quickly today so you can draw comfort from them.

And Lucy yes I hope that you can get ball rolling with GP, at least then you can feel you're doing something positive again, instead of being at AF's mercy.

Donna that does sound awful, if it's a small business you might hope they would be understanding about your own situation, too, and not have docked the wages. Are you looking for something new? Or is it too hard with DC etc?

donnas1984 · 24/01/2014 13:12

hazy im 21 weeks pregnant on Sunday so im planning to be a sahm for a few years and then possibly a change in career. my boss was mortified the I questioned her but had no intention of paying me. Angry

LucyJoJo · 24/01/2014 13:38

Haha at DD not DH Donna!! I thought that was a very advanced thing for her to be saying!!
At least your boss was embarrassed when you brought it up so she must know she's in the wrong? Is the company struggling for money? Bit harsh to take it out on you if they are though Angry. Would they be willing to give it back to you in lieu time? I know it's no help financially but at least it would be a compromise. Not long to go now for you though Donna, when will you go on mat leave?
There is a course starting in march I would like to go on, it runs for 3 days a week for 15 weeks and is free to do. Would mean I could embark on a career change. Do I quit my job though for it?? It might be running again in sept so should I wait til then? Or do I try and balance it alongside working 3 days a week, which would mean putting DD in childcare 3 days a week and not seeing her for 6 days/week, which would be very hard considering I need some little person company at the moment. But it is only for 15 weeks...
Donna you can change your name if you go to My Mumsnet-my account or my profile, in the top right hand corner. I am thinking of changing mine too, bit boring using your real name isn't it!

Kt1991 · 24/01/2014 15:27

Sorry AF got you both lucy and claude sure it's not inplantation bleeding? I'd book a docs apt lucy then hopefully the same will happen to you like it did for me! Ive been feeling sick pretty much all day today :( scared of actually being sick if anyone remembers I don't cope very well with it! I didn't have any ginger biscuits but DS went and got me a rusk to eat instead, and a small container incase I was sick he was being so grown up and helpful bless him. I've completely gone off loads of foods this week too, just want plain things to eat, supposed to be having chilli tonight but don't think I can bring myself to cook it! How's everyone else doing?
That is very out of order about your work donna hope you get it sorted.

willowking · 24/01/2014 15:57

I got my AF too! I'm not actually too bad as I don't think I expected to get a BFP the first cycle! dp was sad though, so cute!

Anyway I've realised that I've not read the title of this thread properly. You are all trying for dc2 and I don't have any duh! So I don't belong on this thread so I'll find another but I'll be reading up to see how you're all getting on and thinking about you all.

Best of luck lovely ladies Smile

SwedeAway · 24/01/2014 16:06

Sorry AF got you Lucy and ClaudeSad I am so nervous this month, keep checking for AF although it would be way too early for that. I hate this wait! Had a nice day today though, all to myselfSmile So nice to have my cut, nothing drastic (did that before Xmas when I chopped off very long hair to a short bob). DH is out tonight so think I may have a glass of Wine and watch Sex and the City.

HazyShadeOfWinter · 24/01/2014 17:14

Sorry donna haven't got my head quite round who is pg yet!

Sounds lovely swede perfect rest after tough night. Maybe try and ease the nerves by focusing on fact that you oved and even if AF comes it means things getting back to normal.

I have been working at hime today on dull project and really want to poas because I'm so bored! Wrong time of day but then I am possibly late (irregular cycles and am past average cycle length but not past the longest cycle iyswim). Trying to hold off for Sunday but expect I will give in. The longer I waot the more excited I get about wjat might be

SwedeAway · 24/01/2014 17:40

Hazy, sounds like it's time to POAS for youSmile

HungryHorace · 24/01/2014 18:20

POAS, Hazy!

Sorry AF has been liberally appearing all over the place. :-(

HungryHorace · 24/01/2014 18:21

And wine sounds good, Swede :-)

I think alcohol assists implantation!

morerummorefun · 24/01/2014 19:03

New name for donnas1984 Wink

mrsm22 · 24/01/2014 20:42

Hi everyone, Happy. Friday! How's everyone doing?
Donna - I'm sorry to hear about work. What will you do? Sorry that you're also suffering with sciatica.
Oops I mean Morerum!
Hungry - are you looking forward to your scan on tues? I can't wait but am nervous at the same time.
Well at work they have found someone to replace me and I finish on 28th feb! A bit early but it's holiday until beginning of April and then maternity leave. I'm not planning to go back like Donna and in a few years will re think work.
Haven't we got 3 scans on tues?

HungryHorace · 24/01/2014 21:00

My scan is Monday, mrs :-) Don't think I could wait til Tuesday as I've not had a private one this time!

I'm scared and excited. Can't wait to tell people, assuming it's all OK.

Bet you can't wait to finish work. I know I can't and I'm not back yet! :-)

DD is having an awful teething night. Poor thing.

morerummorefun · 24/01/2014 21:52

mrsm I'll still answer to donna I just wanted to hide as incase anyone joins that I know... someone I know has came off there contraception and I know they used chat rooms the first round.
Good luck to all the scans next week I loved seeing my wee baby it makes everything else seem trivial.
as for my work I will rise above it as ive only about 11 weeks left! xx

LucyJoJo · 24/01/2014 22:33

Love the name rum, is that an ode to not being able to drink!!?

So is anyone still POAS in the morning? Utopian? Hazy?

Metalhead · 24/01/2014 22:34

I've got my early scan on Tuesday mrsm. We'll tell my parents and DH's parents after that, provided all is looking good.

HungryHorace · 25/01/2014 08:03

Morning! Has anybody POAS yet?!

BetterNotBitter · 25/01/2014 08:46

Haha hungry what are you like?!

One of my close friends gave birth to her first last night after a 45hour labour ending in forceps!

Oooh I'm looking forward to all of you leaving work and joining me in the SAHM club!!

HazyShadeOfWinter · 25/01/2014 09:05

BFP! Grin

Can't really believe it though, and it's so early compared to when I found out last time that I am trying not very successfully to keep the excitement under control.
haven't worked out due date or anything at all-

Metalhead · 25/01/2014 09:41

Yay, congratulations Hazy! You might be able to join me and Kt on the September antenatal thread! Smile

HungryHorace · 25/01/2014 10:03

45 hours?! Bloody hell. I was done and dusted, from waters breaking to c section, in less than 7!

Yay, Hazy. Excellent news :-) Congratulations!

Utopian, any news?

HazyShadeOfWinter · 25/01/2014 10:06

Well due date might be 26-30 sep depending on which of my various cycle lengths applies. Not that I worked it out. Don't feel brave enough for an ante natal board though, feel like its just too good to be true so expecting bad news if that makes sense.

Wow hungry your poor friend! Hope she and baby are recovering well!
