AFM, just got back from yet another long weekend away in Glasgow watching the Commonwealth Games. Had such a good time. We went with our bestest friends who left their 3 kids with the grandparents for 3 nights and it was brilliant - just like old times. They're slightly funny folk though - they are slightly of the view that only they know how to raise children properly - we were discussing the fact that friends of Mr I and me have named us as their chosen guardians for their two kids if anything happened to them on the basis that they considered me and Mr I to be the best people out of everyone they know to raise them. The bloke we were away with looked disgusted at this and said "to be fair, it's probably only because you haven't got children and would give them all the attention - I mean, what would you know about raising kids?"!!!! Charming. Thanks fucker!! Luckily I don't take bullshit like that to heart as I know for a fact that Mr I and me would be bloody great parents.
Had anyone heard from Cups on any other thread? Really hope she and Mr C are doing well.
