Thanks everyone. I think I'll call the clinic on monday and ask for blood tests, I'm fairly sure its pointless ringing at the weekend.

scarlett I have no idea what could cause such a long cycle, but maybe you should try to see your gp. I hope you get some answers soon ((hugs))

NoMaybeAboutIt · 22/03/2014 12:05

Scarlett I had an anovulatory cycle, and it's sounds exactly as you describe. I don't think it's the menopause lovely, you are a spring chicken Smile. I think an ectopic would give you a second line.

I hope the weekend flys for you Beedle so you can call them on Monday. My clinic didn't operate at weekends either. Am brooking like nobody's business for you.

SweetieTime · 22/03/2014 12:36

Beedle brooking that everything is ok. As the others say the dye in pregnancy tests varies so much it isn't an indication of anything. If there is a line that is all that matters. I hope you get a blood test on Monday, you may need a couple over a few days to make sure your levels are rising.

Scarlett I am sure it is just one of those curve balls our bodies like to throw up to confuse us. I would give it another week or so then book to see GP. Mine once gave me something to bring on AF when I was in the run up to my treatment cycle and it was AWOL. Hope the witch shows up of her own accord very soon.

keepitgoing · 22/03/2014 12:48

beedle you're not even on the bum bullets are you? yet AF is well away.

Scarlett I agree it doesn't sound like an ep but I would probably go to the gp just in case. stupid AF

Imps9 · 22/03/2014 13:08

Beedle I am brooking so hard that all is well. I had thought that HCG levels started to drop off after a few weeks too. Wish there was something we could say/do to stop you worrying Thanks

Scarlett - sorry I am not sure what could be up with your cycle. It probably is safest to go to dr but brace yourself for a "these things happen sometimes - wait and see if AF starts soon" response that so many folk seem to get. I'm not sure if an EP would show up on a test - I thought they did but maybe not all do? PAH to all the confusion. Grrr.

Manic week at work so am delighted the weekend is here! Went out last night and had first drink for 5 weeks - feel like shit this morning. Lesson to us - binge drinking after several weeks of abstinence is unwise. So not necking the wine as soon as baby has arrived maybe!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 23/03/2014 06:34

BFN this morning with some cramps and bleeding. And lots of tears from both of us.

cups good luck for your next try

Imps9 · 24/03/2014 08:16

Beedle I am so so so sorry. Why does this process have to be such a big fucking pile of wank for some people? Wishing you and Mr B loads of strength.

keepitgoing · 24/03/2014 08:34

put better than I could imps.

cups are you starting soon?

Imps9 · 26/03/2014 07:13

Morning lovelies.

Beedle I really hope you and Mr B are looking after yourselves and that you aren't in too much discomfort. Big love and squeezes to you, and some chocolate and raspberry muffins too.

Cups what news with you? Is it all systems go still?

Maybe - any sneeze births or, failing that, twinges yet?

Scarlett any sign of AF? Did you go and see your GP?

Can I ask a question re: day 3 tests? GP originally told me that they test for LSH/TSH (or whatever it is) on days 5-7. When I went for swabs the nurse (who used to work at the IVF clinic) that it should be tested for on day 2-3. The nurse yesterday (who did my day 21 bloods) said day 5-7 again. I'm confuzzled! Should I go in on day 2/3 or day 5-7 or both??

Ta, lovelies :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/03/2014 08:11

Morning Imps! I was always told to aim for day 3-5. Day 7 seems awfully late to me.... No sneezing here, lots of twinges though Smile

Am still thinking of you Beedle x

Cups how are you doing?

ScarlettInSpace · 26/03/2014 08:37

beedle hope you're ok x

No sign of AF nope and on CD50 or something. Wasted another peestick at MrS' s request this morning. He still v much wants me to go to gp, I'm struggling to see the point, there's nothin they will do for menopause until you've gone 12 months without AF. Think it will be a wasted trip.

ScarlettInSpace · 26/03/2014 08:38

Ps imps it needs to be day 2 or 3

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 26/03/2014 08:40

Imps I was always told day 2-3 so I would think 5-7 would be way too late.

Maybe it's nearly time to meet fin! I'm so excited for you Smile

AFM I'm quietly stressing out as AF is late and there is no chance of a miracle BFP as we haven't dtd in a month as requested by the clinic. I think it's late as my operation was mid cycle so could have delayed ovulation. The problem is due to the clinic shutting over Easter bank holidays I've only got another 4 days for AF to show up or I'll have to wait another month Confused and there is no sign of AF so far......

Beedle thinking of you and MrB xxxxx

It's FSH btw, follicle stimulating hormone. The higher it is the less fertile you are as the body is producing more each month to get the follicles going. Above 10 is high, mine was 12 back in 2012. It's prob way higher now though.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 26/03/2014 08:43

Hey Scarlett Smile what a head fuck. I had a random 52 day cycle about two years ago. I put it down to not ovulating as I was using OPKs then and got a positive on day 30 something! Hopefully it's just something like that. I agree going to the GP at this point is probably a waste of time.
