  1. The year of the rainbow baby. We pledge to be positive (most of the time). We pledge to cry less, shag more and swear lots. This is the one wannamummabees!

The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

JBrd · 24/01/2014 06:31

deuscat · 24/01/2014 06:42

Congratulations JBrd!! That's great news!

Penguin13 · 24/01/2014 06:49

Really sorry it's BFN for now for you deus, but like you said, you're not out yet! Keeping everything crossed that BFP is just planning a dramatic late entrance.

Jbird yay! Amazing news!!! Hope it's a lovely sticky one. How are you feeling?

Good luck all the rest partaking in the POAS party may there be BFPs a plenty!

tannyLoo · 24/01/2014 06:53

WWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! and a little Oh God, good luck, to JBrd and Tanny. FX it goes well and is totally boring for you both.
Bad luck Deus, you and me both next time around. Enjoy a [cheers] if and when AF comes.

Justonemoretime · 24/01/2014 06:57

oops Wine Blush

JBrd · 24/01/2014 07:03

Feeling mainly relieved that I won't have to do SMEP again next month Wink

And a bit numb... Gone are the days were a BFP is just utter joy and nothing else. Now need to go to the GP, get a referral ASAP, start the heparin injections, take progesterone... Sigh

MissHobart · 24/01/2014 07:13

BFN for me, however I'm not due till the 27th so was just joining in! Hmm

CONGRATULATIONS!! Grin

I can imagine the worry hoping for sticky beans for you! Smile

Penguin13 · 24/01/2014 07:17

Hooray Tanny!! Brilliant news. Hoping for a smooth ride for you this time around.

Haha JBird having made it through just one month of intensive snagging I can totally see where you're coming from! Hope you get excellent and swift medical support. Fx the drugs are the magic ingredients.

Penguin13 · 24/01/2014 07:27

Haha intensive snagging or, you know, shagging. Freaking auto-correct!

fedupofrainydays · 24/01/2014 07:41

Congrats tanny and just - hurrah for making it over the first hurdle and totally get your worry now and cautious celebrations.

Sorry for the bfns. Hope they aren't getting you down too much. I'm dreading being in the same situation two weeks from now :(

I stupidly went on Facebook last night when I was a bit drunk after work do. Ended up sobbing the whole way home on train after being bombarded with scan photos and sickly 'I'm so blessed' comments from people expecting their second child. People on train but have thought I was pretty weird - panda eyed looney!

Now.... Too early for cheese on toast?

Justonemoretime · 24/01/2014 07:49

Shock no bfp for me! I will take the congrats as a premonition! Wink

fedupofrainydays · 24/01/2014 07:55

Ha ha - whoops! Indeed, take it as a premonition just and congrats now to jbrd

Triplespin · 24/01/2014 08:01

Congrats jbrd and tanny!! Good way to get the party started.

Sorry about Bfns deus and misshobart. It's not over yet anyway.

OveranxiousUnderated · 24/01/2014 08:05

Yayyy, congratulations on the BFPs this morning ladies Thanks Keeping my fingers crossed for you that you have sticky beans. x

I am still lurking on this thread to see how everyone is getting on. Not sure if anyone remembers me? < hopeful > Wink

I have my 12 week scan today and as you can probably imagine I am feeling extremely anxious right now! Don't think I can actually face sitting in the waiting room of doom as I now associate it.

I will report back later, hopefully with a big dose of posifrickintivity. If not I will be joining you all again in due course.

x

EnglishGirlAbroad · 24/01/2014 08:09

Congratulations Tanny and JBrd! GrinGrin Hoping for super sticky beans for you and smooth and safe 9months. I can imagine your worries though. X

Triplespin · 24/01/2014 08:14

Congrats jbrd and tanny!! Good way to get the party started.

Sorry about Bfns deus and misshobart. It's not over yet anyway.

fedupofrainydays · 24/01/2014 08:27

Hi over of course I remember you! Good luck for today. I'm sure it will be ok but know how nervous you must be feeling. If I ever get to that stage again I would be bricking it. Take care x

SuzyBean · 24/01/2014 08:31

Morning ladies! So . . It's a very faint bfp from me too! I actually couldn't wait so did it last night and it was so faint I thought it was a bfn so went and had a beer Grin it was only when I went back to sneak another look there was a very faint line!

I can't believe it, after 11 months I never thought I would see a second pink line again!

Congratulations to jbird and Tanny, wow what a prolific week!

Deus and MissH you never know, I've only just got a very tentative bfp and it's day 37 for me - there's still time.

Good luck over, it's lovely to hear from you.

Sal1977 · 24/01/2014 08:41

Wowzers!!! Well done team, good effort!! Now, heads down, the next few weeks will be long, but remember, the odds are ever in your favour! Grin

fedupofrainydays · 24/01/2014 08:49

Wow - is that 3 bfps in one week?! Amazing!! I feel inspired

Had my cheese on toast. Yum.

JBrd · 24/01/2014 08:50

Congrats Suzy and tanny!

I will stay for a bit longer, if you all don't mind - can't bear the thought of joining the antenatal threads, where they start talking about what pram to buy the minute they get their BFP...

fedupofrainydays · 24/01/2014 08:59

Jbrd - the grads thread of this one doesn't as everyone is shit scared too! But there are people at diff stages of pregnancy on it which is weird as well but they can help to virtually hand hold through the early weeks as been through it! Not trying to get rid of you but if you are looking to move on they are a good bunch....
