  1. The year of the rainbow baby. We pledge to be positive (most of the time). We pledge to cry less, shag more and swear lots. This is the one wannamummabees!

The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

I don't have it done but I wouldn't pay £40 for a wax! Shock

Sal1977 · 18/01/2014 19:20

Me neither. Unless I had a date with Brad Pitt!! Grin

OP posts:
fedupofrainydays · 18/01/2014 21:42

I used to get it done... And was 30 quid. 27 if I was lucky! I now only get it done if going to wear a bikini! Lazy me.
I did find a Brazilian lady who funnily enough did very good Brazilian waxes and who charged me a tenner. She was amazing but then we moved away...

EnglishGirlAbroad · 18/01/2014 22:39

Used to work in A fairly affluent area of Berkshire, but yeah I agree it is very expensive!! You could make a killing Sal!!
Brazilian wax all the way! DH would get a shock if I suddenly went au naturel! Haha

Parsley2506 · 18/01/2014 23:45

£40!! I'd want it gold plated with tassels for that!

Lovely day out with Mr P, home a little tipsy and hoorah for no AF today. CD29, last month (1st post MC) was 30, so let see what happens tomorrow. No symptoms either way anymore at the moment, nut that might just be the booze!

I am on a Facecation as of today. Deleted FB apps off my phone and don't have time for it at work so looking forward to a nice break from it all.

triplespin · 19/01/2014 08:15

parsley great that the witch is staying away so far. Will you poas today/tomorrow?

7dpo and no symptoms so far such as sore boobs or twitches/tingles elsewhere. Seems like this month will be a write off too. I have stopped temping though as cant bear to see the temp drops before AF.

deuscat · 19/01/2014 09:33

I'm impressed by the facecation parsley.

I have Brazilian waxes done and it costs £25 I think. I get legs and underarms done at the same time.

I'm cd25 and symptom spotting like crazy. The last two days I have had a metallic taste in my mouth with some odd twinges in my groin area. And yesterday there was a spot of brown blood on wiping, which I'm praying guessing might have been implantation bleeding? It came 4 days after I had a spot of pink blood on Tuesday which might have been ovulation bleeding. No other symptoms. I'm going insane wondering. It could all just be random spotting as this is my first cycle post mc. Aaaarrgghhhh Confused

triplespin · 19/01/2014 10:37

Ooh that is very exciting deuscat. How long is your normal cycle? You can probably safely poas on Friday. The brown blood is a very positive sign. I have been incessantly wiping, looking for any pinking or brownish cm but to no avail!

I normally get a Hollywood and full legs as well. It costs £60 here but so much more convenient than shaving or hassle of cream. Shhh dh does not know or would probably freak out lol.

Sal1977 · 19/01/2014 10:39

Haha, if only they knew eh?

Lush temp rise here this morning. Ooohhh...I've got a good chart going this month!! Shame we can't upload pictures, it's a sharer so far this cycle!!

DH away and apparently spent the night in a tiny hotel room listening to what he says was the loudest, longest lasting sex ever in the room above. He says he wants some like that when he gets home. Crikey!

tannyLoo · 19/01/2014 10:47

Crikey, I feel like a right hairy Mary! I epilate my legs and the stray'uns, a quick trim and that's it!

Poor DH!

tannyLoo · 19/01/2014 10:51

Deuscat I have convinced myself that I'm upduffed because of that well known early pg sign of foot cramps. Blush Geez I need to get a life...

Penguin13 · 19/01/2014 11:01

Glad I have others to symptom spot for as it looks like my 2ww will be just the wait for AF to show her inevitable face so we can try again next cycle. It's CD17 and I haven't had even a sniff of ov symptoms. Harrumph. Still, just more time for my uterus to make a cosy looking home for a fertilised egg looking for a resting place Smile

fedupofrainydays · 19/01/2014 11:42

Penguin I'm the same. I norm ov by now but not even a sniff of any symptoms :( think this could be an annovulatory cycle for me.

Ha ha just - funny if that had been on of us ttc'ers! But doubt it as it lasted so long and we are all about getting the job done these days Grin

Sounds positive both sal and deus

TaytoCrisp · 19/01/2014 12:04

I Seem to vary between preg symptoms (slight nausea and fatigue) versus af symptoms (restless legs!). So I'm actually not so sure now.. Will see on friday. This symptom monitoring is a bit head wrecking!

MissHobart · 19/01/2014 12:46

Hate the symptom spotting, last month when I knew there was no possibility of a BFP I had really bad indigestion and my nipples hurt (have always thought this was cos they were very cold and used my hot coffee mug to warm them up! Grin Turns out it's hormonal, who knewHmm ), then got the BFP which as you know didn't stick. So now in my WTF cycle I've had no OV symptoms but have really bad indigestion and keep thinking my nipples are tingling (I think this is psychosomatic) Angry And I've been the verge of tears for two days, Hmm .
If my cycle is straight back on track (unlikely) I only ovulated two days ago and AF won't be due for another week so it all means nothing/I'm imagining it Confused

Feeling a bit fucked off Sad

deuscat · 19/01/2014 13:22

Sorry to those who are expecting AF. You never know though ...

tanny that is some great symptom spotting!

triplespin I only had 2 cycles before I became pregnant after coming off pill, of 33 and 31 days. So I'm expecting BFP AF next weekend. No symptoms today. I'm glad it's not just me that is always checking after I've wiped!! Grin

Sal that sounds positive for you. I don't temp or anything so I'm hoping to wait to test on Friday if no AF. I feel really nervous! Trying to convince myself I'll probably just get AF but it's hard not to be hopeful.

Parsley2506 · 19/01/2014 15:48

Still no AF but feeling crampy and (tmi alert) sort of bubbly. Does anyone else get that just before the witch shows? Like, little bubbles coming down the fanjola? Or is it just me? (Like with my knitting needle sensations! Wink)

Just re-checked FF and my WTF cycle was actually 31, not 30, plus I basically had to choose when to start that cycle from my MC symptoms (chose to make CD1 the first day of significant bleeding, does that sound right?)
So, based on that, fully expecting the bitch witch to show today/tomorrow but also clawing on to that last sliver of hope.

SIL, BIL & Niece just popped over, this is SIL who is 10 days behind where I would have been. Haven't seen her since Xmas. She has a lovely little bump showing now. I could've wept into my mug of tea but held it together. They've gone now and am just feeling really, really blue.

Can I be permitted a 5 year old tantrum pls? IT'S NOT FAIR! WHY NOT ME? SadEnvy

Triplespin · 19/01/2014 15:48

Sal great news that your temp is back up. Are you on fertility friend, if so you could share your chart.

Deuscat. Given your previous record, you are right to be expecting a bfp soon. Hope we get some bfps this Friday!

Seasides · 19/01/2014 16:13

I'm feeling 'why not me' too-just on the way home from meeting a friend's newborn. When is it my turn?!

Seasides · 19/01/2014 16:16

Although, we had friends staying this weekend who have (delightful) daughters aged 8 and 5. They were lovely, but it is easier to appreciate these last few months (please God) of child-free peace when you're around kids for a while!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 19/01/2014 16:23

Sounds promising Deuse!! Good luck!
My chart is laughable! Wish I could share it! Up and down like a yoyo! This cycle really is WTF!! On cd 20, no obvious sign of OV except my cervix has risen. Hoping my temps over the next few days show something significant. My body is a really bastard at the moment!

Parsley - I'll throw a tantrum with you too! Arghhhhhhhhh!! Why can't we all be one of those lucky fuckers that get pg super quick with super sticky beans! It's sooooo unfair!!!

MissHobart · 19/01/2014 16:28

HollyBen · 19/01/2014 16:33

Tantrum as much as you like parsley. You did well to hold it together. That must have been so hard.

It is hangover central here today. Lovely 6 course tasting menu last night. Greggs for lunch today that's how I roll Wink So glad the 6 day shagathon is over so I can have an early night to actually sleep. Though it does mean I am in the dreaded tww

tannyLoo · 19/01/2014 18:00

So, none of you will mind if I'm wrong, if I share my symptoms of 2ww and then get af at the end!

So far my symptoms include the crampy feet, headache, back and hip ache, dead tired, and slight nausea. Feeling a bit woozy at the moment.

Totally potty Grin ...
