The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months (preferably 12+) NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

Parsley plenty of people try the angus castus for short LP. I was going to try it but by the time I'd given the vit b6 a go it was time to start the clomid. If it was me I'd keep taking it! Grin

Boodle & Bunny I know! It's so quiet in berry HQ at the moment! Shock

BoodleDoo · 21/01/2014 21:24

My acupuncture lady mentioned agnus castus to me but decided in the end I shouldn't try it. Not sure why so not the most useful story!

Quiet you say? Tum tee tum!

Bunnygirlie · 21/01/2014 21:26

Oh no, not again boodle .....

BoodleDoo · 21/01/2014 21:39

What? I didn't do nothing, Miss Bunny!

barkingtreefrog · 21/01/2014 21:48

It didn't work. Maybe nipple tassles? Wink

Bunnygirlie · 21/01/2014 21:59

Eh? Where?!

RevoltingPeasant · 21/01/2014 22:04

Cornwall?

RevoltingPeasant · 21/01/2014 22:07

So I have spent this evening using up old fruit and veg by making cauliflower cheese, extra bechamel sauce, and banana bread. Kitchen looks like someone massacred a wheel of cheddar and a bag of flour in there, but DH pretty happy Grin

CD11 so going to have to start dtd in a day or two - eek!

barkingtreefrog · 21/01/2014 22:25

Buckle up rp! Grin I've just got a new bag of opks ready to hopefully see ovulation at some sensible point this cycle!

I saw a photo of my best mate from school today. I didn't realise the 'women' with her in the photo were her daughters!! Her eldest is 16 this year. Feels so strange that her first child will leave school before mine is even born.

BoodleDoo · 21/01/2014 23:15

Barking, I feel like that with my cousin, who had a child at 16. Now he's nearly that age himself. I swear to god if he fathers a child before we manage it...!!!

Gillster · 22/01/2014 06:26

Good luck Pip for today. Keeping everything crossed for some sticky embies. Xp

Pipbin · 22/01/2014 06:58

Thanks Glister

Boodle and Barking, my cousin who is a year older than me is a grandmother.
I'm just going to leave that there.

barkingtreefrog · 22/01/2014 07:10

pip Shock .

Good luck today, and enjoy your days off school! Grin .

happylass · 22/01/2014 07:50

Good luck for today Pip. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Off for my HSG in a bit. Should have stayed away from Dr Google and the horror stories though Shock

Gillster · 22/01/2014 07:57

Don't worry about the HSG Happy. Thousands of women will have had this without any issues and therefore not posted anything on Google. Take a couple of pain killers about an hour before, leave your dignity at the door and it will be fine. It's actually quite interesting.

FeatherFeather11 · 22/01/2014 08:11

Good luck today pip!

And you too gill - I've had two and going for my third soon. Not pleasant but was expecting so much worse!

I'm having a disaster zone of a morning. Caught the train going in the wrong direction, didn't realise for three stops, got off, no train going back there, no taxis, nothing. Am now standing at a bus stop in the rain, should have been at acupuncture 15 mins ago. She'll charge me £60 for missing the appointment anyway. Argh!!!!!!!!!!

Bunnygirlie · 22/01/2014 08:16

Nightmare feather!

Good luck pip

OP posts:
tigerdog · 22/01/2014 09:00

oh no feather what a nightmare indeed!

hope the HSG goes ok happy. I'm waiting for my appointment to come through at the moment - can't say I am looking forward to it though!

a heap of good luck for you pip, hope all goes well.

My sister is only 27 and has three children, the oldest being 11 next month. She got pregnant when she was 15. By the time she is my age, her son will be 18!

Af arrived in full force this morning - a day late just to give a glimmer of false hope. Sad

happylass · 22/01/2014 10:09

HSG done and dusted. Everything fine. Back to consultant now, hopefully for referral for IVF.
Tiger HSG was fine. Just a bit of pressure and cramping.Nowhere near as bad as I'd expected. Hardest bit was getting the gown on!!

Parsley2506 · 22/01/2014 10:26

happy glad it went well! told you those gowns are the trickiest bit! Haha!

feather what a 'mare, and so annoying! Have you tried appealing to the acupuncturists generosity?

happylass · 22/01/2014 10:37

Just called the FC and our next appt is mid March. Why does everything take so looooooong Angry. Assuming we are put on the ridiculous waiting list then we'll be looking at NHS IVF around September 2015 Shock

FeatherFeather11 · 22/01/2014 14:33

happy know what you mean about things taking ages on NHS, remember March isn't far away! Glad all went ok with the hsg. Did they say anything about you tubes while they did it? Flowers

I made it to my appointment 20 mins late and had to pay £20 for a cab there. I was lucky that she didn't have anyone booked after me so was fine to run over. She made up all my tinctures and a massage oil which I had to fork out another £70 for. Hmm Hopefully she'll bring in my af again any day now - cd 33 and feel like it needs to happen soon so I can book in for my hsg and either get on the ivf waiting list or back on clomid.

Hope everyone is well! Has the Berrie blues lifted? It has at my end a bit.

SidneyBristow · 22/01/2014 15:21

feather what a stressful morning - that's totally something I would do BTW, get on the wrong train - I'm glad you were able to get your treatment and hopefully AF will come knocking soon Thanks

pip sending you lots of good Berry energy for your ET today!

Happy glad the HSG went well; scans like that are mortifying until you get past the reality that there is a stranger with a plastic probe up you and just decide to concentrate on the TV screen instead Wink I find myself saying incredibly inane things until there's something for me to focus on. which basically sounds like an extension of normal life for me anyway, ha ha. Sorry about the wait - March will be here before you know it though and it may be that Sept is their estimate, but in reality they might get people in sooner, you never know Thanks

tiger sorry AF got you; being late makes it all the worse, doesn't it Thanks Cake Brew

bunny hanging in there? Thanks

parsley can't offer anything on agnus castus; the furthest I went in alternative-medicine territory was Robitussin waste of time but tasted nice

Well gang I am in possession of my downregging drug. Like Feather, my mood has shifted and I'm v glad for it. Some early nights with DH have helped, plus it's shag week so grasping onto the fantasy of a truly last-minute FYFC. I know it's not going to happen but the possibility has lifted my spirits, so I'm rolling with it. Plus it's hard to stay depressed when DH is outdoing himself shagwise Blush

happylass · 22/01/2014 17:15

Yes Sid half of the radiology department now knows the ins and outs if my job whether they like it or not! Don't think I stopped wittering the whole time I was in there!
Am guessing the 18 month IVF wait is a maximum but we'll almost definitely have a go privately before then.
Gonna jump straight back on the TTC wagon this month though, first shag week in over 5 months starts this weekend woohoo!!
Sid I'm glad you're feeling more positive about the IVF. When do you start on the drugs?
Any news from Pip?
