Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

RED so glad you got two :)

Sorry others are going through tough times.

ZingChoirsOfAngels · 11/12/2013 18:27

good luck wagga

ZingChoirsOfAngels · 11/12/2013 18:28

red

what are the chances your birthing music will be "Ice, Ice baby"?Wink Grin

Minion · 11/12/2013 19:21

Great news red, go frembryos! (frozen embryos)!
wags oh dear, lots of paracetamol, gin and warm hugs for you. I hope you are feeling better tonight.

Girls, does anyone get weird pain like feeling in their womb area a few days after ERTD? I haven't had it for a while and I just assumed it was the pill vacating the system, but have had it for 3 days now, sort of easing off a bit. It's almost like I'm aware of my womb when I sit with my legs crunched up. Low down, not a cramp as such but a twisting type pain.
I suspect this may be a problem, you know, bonk wise!

Husband has been game tho, freaking typical. Decided to myself to do it every other day this month till I get that BFP or I get red raw from friction burns haha. And I haven't needed to persuade him, he's already suggested it for tonight. Which is good as I'm off to Cuba so I'll be 2 nights away from tomorrow. As you can tell my job is nt conducive to baby making.

juniper81 · 11/12/2013 21:55

hey minion - never had anything like that, doesn't sound very nice at all. :-( You don't have PCOS or anything like that do you? Worth getting checked out if it continues.

wagga sorry the dr was a bit meh...Mine keeps telling me I'll be pg soon (was going nearly weekly to get the h pylori diagnosed). Not sure it's helpful. :-/ With the horrible periods, are you taking any supplements or anything like that. I've been taking a conception vitamin and an omega 3 (fish oil) supplement for the last five or so months and my periods are miraculously improved. I guess if something is medically wrong it won't help but thought I'd throw it out there. They're also awesome for your skin & nails so worth a go regardless. I do feel for you though as awful periods are so miserable and some people really don't appreciate how completely it can ruin those days in the month. :(

Yay for the frembryos red, two is fabulous.

CD24 tomorrow so will start with my testing tomorrow. Bring on the BFNs so I can stop symptom spotting!!

Waggamamma · 11/12/2013 22:10

Thanks juniper I really do like this gp and she does seem to take me seriously, there's just so many things that could cause difficulties ttc I need to try and step away from dr google for a while. I do take the vits, not sure if they help or not but they make me feel like I'm doing something positive anyway.

My next ertd is due 1st January...wonder if 2014 will bring me a bfp??

Redshoes56 · 11/12/2013 23:31

Gosh ladies, so many of us have aches and pains :\ Can't say I've had that, minion, but my left boob is throbbing today, probably from progesterone withdrawal. Something tells me this is going to be a pretty beastly round of ERTD coming up. Joy!

wagga here is hoping we ALL have our BFPs in 2014...or sooner!

lil1ady · 11/12/2013 23:44

hi everyone.

red that is going to be the longest twot ever! good on you for being so calm about it all. 2 fremryos is great news.

minion I think I kinda know what you mean. sort of. I've never really thought much of it. I don't get it massively noticeably though. just the odd twinge. my worst pains are DTD on ov day. sometimes I don't think I'll be able to keep going.

as for all the other aches, pains drs etc hugs and vino to everyone. my Dr prescribed me pills a couple of months back but not supposed to get pg whilst on them. so I never took then but didn't admit that to Dr. I have a follow up next week and can't decide whether to come completely clean or just say I stopped. any thoughts anyone? I don't want any potential investigations to be held up.

in twot news I have six massive red spots in a big circle on my face. its like I'm 16 again. please let it be a bfp symptom!

Nessalina · 11/12/2013 23:47

Woah, loads of updates! My phone conked out at work so I've been off the grid Shock
Great news on the two lil' frozen shoes Red! Grin And nice that you get a bit of a break over the next two months, glad to hear you'll still be JSing for the team!!
Cosy & Wagga, it sounds like the good ol' NHS really isn't pulling it's finger out for you Hmm Hope all gets sorted - just keeping bugging people til it does!! Extra fx for your DP's little guys still swimming Cosy Grin
I went to M&S after work and spent £80. Seriously. On a spontaneous food shop which will only feed us for 5 minutes. I bought Brie. And four types of stuffing! Somebody stop me!! Confused

Forgot about Minion's womb pain!! Not sure I know what you mean, but I don't think so... I usually attribute most pains below my chest to hunger! Blush

Bearfacedchic · 11/12/2013 23:52

Yay Red! Glad to hear you got your ice cubes. Xmas Smile

Sorry to hear of bad times for others.

Not doing so well myself here. Having some ishoos at work and suffering some anxiety as a result. I've had moments in the last few days where I just want to cry and hide. Most of the time I'm ok though. A woman brought her 3 month old baby into work today and that was tough. Anyway, sending the Christmas love to everyone and hoping you get a BFP in your stocking!

Bearfacedchic · 11/12/2013 23:54

It might be your body gearing up for ov Minion? The fact it happens regularly would suggest it's part of your natural cycle. I'm sure it's ok.

Waggamamma · 12/12/2013 07:59

minion I get it too, like a dull ache or dragging feeling in lower belly? Definitely different from period pain, it's been getting a lot worse though hence me bugging the doc.

Sorry to hear your a bit down bear do you want to jump into the pity pool with me, too early for wine but I have special K?

FurryScoob · 12/12/2013 09:17

Congrats on the ice cubes Red do you get the full TWOT when they go in or is it less? sorry im being nosy!

minion can't help u with the pain it's not something I think I get.

Wine to everyone else having a crap time

I went past Ann summers yesturday & they are selling christmas shag capes! Had a little Smile to myself & thought of u guys as I wondered past.

Nessalina · 12/12/2013 09:46

They stole my idea!! Shock I'm suing! Or buying one. Definitely one or the other! Grin

OP posts:
FurryScoob · 12/12/2013 10:55

nessa there not as good as the jsing capes, cheap red material with white fluff around the top & bottom. DP didn't even notice more interested in what was underneath they should read this thread & get more creative! Xmas Smile

CosyTeaBags · 12/12/2013 12:51

I had to stop myself from POAS this morning - Talked myself out of it by reasoning that I'm only about 11DPO, have NO symptoms so no reason to believe I'm pg anyway... apart from sore boobs which I get every month, and a tiny bit of brown tinged CM... implantation bleeding?

Going to update my Fertility Friend to make myself feel better.

Love the idea of Christmas Shag capes FurryScoob.. they don't sound tacky in the slightest... I will be wearing a traditional jsing christmas cape this year, since Ov should fall right smack bang around the big day. Festive.

EssiesInvisibleLlama · 12/12/2013 14:58

Hi everyone, omg I've missed so much!

Yay for your frembryos Red. This is great news, sorry you have to wait another 2 cycles though.

Sorry for all the ERTDs and pains and stress everyone seems to be experiencing though. No better in Casa Essie I'm afraid. Got an appointment on 8th Jan to have my cervix fixed, hopefully, though I have this nagging feeling that chopping off the scarred bit is just going to lead to more scarring? What would I know. Consultant told me yesterday that I must be 100% sure I'm not pregnant before they will allow me to have the procedure! I actually laughed. I couldn't help it.

Feeling quite festive though. We have an obscene amount of sweets and chocs at work though which isn't ideal. I will have no teeth left by Christmas!

Seriously hoping we all get BFPs in our stockings, it's about time we had some more, we are in a drought.

Love to all xx

Nessalina · 12/12/2013 18:42

I've decided if we don't get BFPs in our stockings, then maybe we could ask Santa for a brand new pity hot tub? With room for everyone in it!! Grin
Glad you've got a date for cervix repair Essie, maybe you'll get a shock law-of-sod BFP?!
New babies suck Bear - I know they're cute & amazing and all, but do people have to show 'em off?! Hmm

OP posts:
Latium123 · 12/12/2013 21:11

Aw ladies, chins up. Sorry to hear about all the aches and pains. Our bodies really can be cruel esp with pmt symptoms masquerading as symptoms of PG. Good to hear some good news for Red on the embryos albeit with extra waiting. Fingers and toes crossed for as many Christmas BFPs as possible. In the meantime let's all get our capes on... X

Lynsey14 · 12/12/2013 21:18

DH away at a works thing and I'm looking after a poorly dog. I'm letting you all down with my decidedly unshaggy evening!!!

Latium123 · 12/12/2013 21:29

Lynsey we have a poorly doggie too. Hope yours is better soon. My dh is just back from work trip, been away all week so reckon we better get going tonight. Work patterns can certainly get in the way!

juniper81 · 12/12/2013 21:50

lillady - I've not been in your shoes but I'd be tempted to tell the doc I'd taken the tablets and they made no difference. Get the ball moving.

sorry things are tough at the moment bear, work being a struggle really does make everything so hard. Had a bit of a cry myself tonight cos I'm so fed up.

cosy I totally POAS today (my new technique to deal with the disappointment). It was a BFN and I've felt sad all day. But then, better than symptom spotting the ERTD turning up and feeling even worse. Yay for it nearly being the weekend.

Redshoes56 · 13/12/2013 02:21

Oh bear that just stinks about work :( Take care of yourself and find time to have that cry, if it helps. I love my job most days, but even I have the odd afternoon where I just drive aimlessly or sit in the car in the parking lot with a blank stare on my face. Today was almost one of those days. Hang in there. You too juniper.

We definitely need some BFPs around here. Since we have our month of "let's try to make a baby even though we're mid-IVF" sexy-time coming up, I think my cape will actually be no cape at all and just a Santa hat Xmas Wink

cookielove · 13/12/2013 18:10

Hello all, I think I will be jumping back on the jsing waggon. Spoke to the midwife today and she said that if I hadn't heard anything it probably means that the results were negative. But she is chasing them up for me.
