Ooooo congrats Just!!! Hop over to July 2014 with me. LH, my DP is exactly the same, insisted on a digi for DD and for this one. I don't like the digis as I think that conception indicators cause unnecessary worry. Men.

SaraRB123 · 04/11/2013 18:37

Thanks ladies, you are totally right, of course I will drink, just not in excess. I have still not even had withdrawal bleed from coming off the pill so its very very early days for me, but it has taken over everything in my life, including the desire to drink 'just in case'! But of course, I can't put my life on hold as I have no way of knowing whether this is going to be a long or short process for me. Thanks for putting things into perspective ladies :-)

grobagsforever · 04/11/2013 18:38

Sorry LH, cross post. I don't want to give you false hope but I founds sainsburys particularly crap. How many DPO are you and when did you test? Had you drunk a lot before?

VJONES1985 · 04/11/2013 18:40

LH unfortunately,it sounds like a chem preg. My friend is also ttc and got a bfp, followed by bfn a week later. She went to the doc who said chem pregs are extremely common and he doesn't agree with early/sensitive testing for that reason. I know that doesn't help though, sorry.

VJONES1985 · 04/11/2013 18:41

Sara When did you come off the pill? I was exactly the same when I came off but ended up getting so obsessed and stressed that I've gone totally the opposite way this month, lol.

LH1981 · 04/11/2013 18:43

grobags, not sure DPO as don't know when I ovulated. But based on ovulation on day 14, I am DPO17. Cycle day 32.
Came off Cerazette 3 months ago and only had one AF so far, 7 weeks after stopping the pill so my cycles could be all over the place.
Only had 1 cup of coffee all day so I know it's not because it's watered down.

SaraRB123 · 04/11/2013 18:46

Are head rushes and dizziness post pill symptoms too? I've had it for about 3 days now, worse today than ever. Lost count of how many times I have nearly gone arse over tit today. But I'm actually wondering if I'm coming down with something if it isnt another symptom as I also feel crappy in general and a bit queasy.

LH, don't lose all hope yet. Different pregnancy tests pick up pregnancy differently. I really don't want to build your hopes up as I don't know how this will pan out, but my cousin once took all the pregnancy tests going as she couldnt believe she was pg (not ttc, typical!!) and there was a certain brand that didnt show it up. This annoyed her, and it became her little mission to get a bfp on this brand (cant remember what it was) and continued to take one every week even after it was confirmed by dr, and it only showed up positive when she was almost 5 months pregnant!!!!! Go figure!!! So I guess what I'm saying is that they are not always correct to our annoyance, and alrthough I dont want to set you up for a fall, please don't lose all hope yet xx

LH1981 · 04/11/2013 18:47

I agree VJones - I think as it's been 4 days since my last bfp result it should be showing up on other tests. I feel really deflated. It's only been 3 cycles but it kind of makes me want to pack it all in.
Not because I think it won't happen, just because I already have two lovely little boys and ttc this time around seems to have completely taken over my life!

VJONES1985 · 04/11/2013 18:47

With cycles that muddled up, it's really hard to tell what it could be, LH. Fingers crossed.

SaraRB123 · 04/11/2013 18:48

VJ I only came off the pill a whopping 2 weeks ago and I'm already obsessed!!!! x

VJONES1985 · 04/11/2013 18:49

I know the feeling - I felt like that after just three months too. And I don't have any children already :-(

LH1981 · 04/11/2013 18:51

Thanks Sara, I'm pretty convinced it is a chem though. Sad
Also, you should Google Cerazette as all your symptoms are typical of stopping it. I fainted on the stairs and had a lot of very dizzy spells in the weeks after stopping - it sucks because the symptoms are so strong, you're convinced you must be pregnant but honestly, chances are it's the hormone withdrawal from the pill this soon after stopping. FX you're one of the lucky ones that fall pregnant straight off it - it does happen! But try to look at it realistically so you're not too disappointed if it is all side effects.

LH1981 · 04/11/2013 18:57

VJones - can imagine how desperate you are for no1 - took me 5 years the first time around and it was awful. But got there in the end Grin - 2nd one came along straight away so god knows what all the fuss was about first time! I so hope it happens for you ASAP!
I just find lately that I'm taking my frustration/disappointment out on other people - ie DH and DS's which is totally unfair.

VJONES1985 · 04/11/2013 19:00

Sara The reality of it bites. But I had to accept it last month after getting stupidly obsessed and upset over it all. I'm only 3/4dpo now but am having some cramps and feeling 'wet' so already convinced myself my luteal phase is gonna be very short again this month and that it hasn't happened. Harsh but true.

booisgreat · 04/11/2013 19:04

Hi LH.

Firstly my understanding is that ovulation occurs on average 14 days before your period is due. Unless you are certain you ovulated on cd14 you could be only 13dpo. The reason I say that is I have a 32 day cycle and this was my first month tracking when I ovulated. I got positive opks for 3 days in a row and fertilityfriend changed ovulation date to cd 19 from cd 18) and af due this friday or saturday. I am only 10dpo. So maybe you are testing a tad early. I dont mean to give you false hope but it is possible that if you have a 32 day cycle you did not ovulate cd 14.

SaraRB123 · 04/11/2013 19:04

Thanks LH - I'm not expecting it to happen straight away although secretly I am clinging to hope that I will be one of the few that it happens to lol. But I've felt loust for the last few days and I'm wondering if I'm coming down with something to be honest - as a reception teacher I pick up every little sniffle, cough and cold going. But the dizziness did worry me slightly. Thank god its a normal side effect and I'm not going completely doo-lalley!!!

VJONES1985 · 04/11/2013 19:07

Sara, I'm a reception teacher too :-)

SaraRB123 · 04/11/2013 19:10

Aww really VJ? How lovely to have another teacher for a buddy here :-) there are a few teachers floating around but dont think any of them are reception x

VJONES1985 · 04/11/2013 19:11

No, I think we're the only mad ones ;-)

SaraRB123 · 04/11/2013 19:12

mad...you got that right! spending all day looking after children, and trying desperately to one day fill our evenings with children...crazy!! how long have you been ttc?

LH1981 · 04/11/2013 19:18

I have NOooooo idea how you reception teachers do it!! Mine are yr1 and yr 2 now and it's like, I pack them off to school, miss them all day and then as soon as I pick them up I can't wait for bedtime Grin

Thanks boo - I haven't a clue when I ovulate so you could be right about it being later in my cycle - will try again in a few more days but it's getting to the point of no return if you get what I mean. Theoretically my cycle could still be up the creek from the pill and I might be having AFs 7 weeks apart for a while.

VJONES1985 · 04/11/2013 19:20

Sara This is my fourth cycle.
